I remember seeing in a forum somewhere that some pine woods are denser than others. The pine from the lumber store is young and cheap pine which is going to be terrible. I also read that because it is a soft wood, you would need to make it wider and longer than your average bow so it doesn't set quickly. I always wanted to try doing a cheap pine build, but never have.

you could buy two square meters of fiberglass, extract two meters of strands from it, and they would serve much better than stretchy plastic! But you will have to use EA 40 epoxy resin with plasticizer

Heyo, just a quick correction: The human eye does not perceive things at 24 frames per second. 24 frames per second is the agreed upon minimum to trick the human brain into thinking that independent pictures are in motion. Eyes don't don't actually see things in frames at all really, as all of the light receptors are constantly sending information to the brain, taking between 1/300th and 1/1000th of a second for the "signal" to travel from your eye to your brain. Think of this less like individual frames, and more like a steady constant stream of information on a slight delay. Anyways, very cool video!

You should give the Sevr Block target a try. I’ve found that’s been the best target I’ve tried. It’s outlasted my reinhart

You went in the completely opposite direction than I thought you were going when I saw the thumbnail and even in the beginning of your explanation… it’s the schedule 40 that has the amazing compression qualities and locust likes to fret…

Watching you grow as a craftsman and bowyer over the years has been nothing short of inspirational. Watching your skillset grow as your workshop grows is so cool to see too. Im now on the bow building path myself ,although a slightly different direction ,your content is nothing short of gold dust for those who tread in your footsteps. Blessings and light from England

I just love watching your videos. My uncle taught me how to shoot when I was about 6 and especially during the sumer I would shoot for hours at a time. Unfortunately I have never had the talent or the patience to build my own bow. You sir are one extremely talented individual. Thanks for the vids.

Hey Kramer, how about a bow like a war bow that can launch a normal to heavy arrow at a very high speed but it is made from one piece of wood. No laminated limbs, not a take down bow, just one piece of wood that can shoot far and accurate. I'm curious what wood would you choose. Thanks for the videos, we appreciate it.
