Why are you only showing a black panel of speakers?
I have seen an all white panel before, and it didn't matter. What was the most important was the knowledge I gained from what they said. The color didn't matter. I just saw an opportunity to get knowledge and a way to improve my business. I'm sorry that you only see a black panel and not the message they are giving.

WHY don't they make these so they can emboss deeper onto the paper? You can only emboss around the edges; the paper won't go in any further. This has always been a source of frustration for notaries that use embossers frequently.
California - Thank you for the info on the UV Light. I have that privacy sheet. I don't like it. It slides off as I turn the book around for the signer to sign in the journal book. My journal books are soft-cover books. Paper clips or Gader clips help keep it from moving around. I lost the privacy sheet at one signing. So I printed my own on card stock paper after I got each box lined up with the names for each box, with the words printed a little bigger than the privacy sheet or the journal. I did find that privacy sheet, as it had slid out of the book in my notary bag. I used the paperclip to hold the pages of the document together, as the instructions said not to staple the pages.

In Ohio your site state there is a restriction: Its customary for attorney to be present. Is this for all loan signings?
When you start your own notary business what can you charge for travel. NNA gave me the prices you can charge to notarize documents but what if you have to travel to notarize a document. How do you charge for that.

Does it really matter if it’s a laser printer? I have a brothers that uses ink bottles. My wife likes to print pictures. But I’ve always used it for real estate transactions when I needed to, and it’s been fine. But I was just wondering if having a laser was really that big of a deal because I hear it all the time on these different notary videos.
