Once, an engine attached to a train, was afraid of a few drops of rain. The points weren't set right, it came off with a fright, and a hand put it back on again.

I wonder if the original script had James and Thomas in the story as they weren't in the original story. Yes they first appeared in the second book, which was published by the time this TV version (albeit the version the the BBC would have gone and put out in the 1950s, not this lovely remake) was made. As it stands I think that you did a very good job and believe that it would go nicely on the Blu ray of the first series of the old 1980s programme. Now, I'll just have to now and go Poop Poop Poop at Henry....

The more I think about how much of an arrogant prick Gordon was in 1923, the more I realize here how much he’s really changed for the better. He’s still got his moments of arrogance and pompousness, but he’s grown to respect little engines for what they do cause not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES he was humbled by something the tank engines did that ultimately gave him something to think about. The fact he turns on a former GWR rival, his own brother, AND his cousin all in one go in order to protect the reputation and integrity of one tank engine is simply amazing.
