Obviously cars are much bigger than people, but acting like that 1000kg reduction is irrelevant is very dishonest. Your ignoring breaking distance for one. Secondly, the size is connected to the height of that grill. Lill cars are short. These are not disconnected phenomenon. That said, grill height is obviously a major killing factor.

My gut reaction to the way you talk it “man this guy sounds like a jackass”, but somehow it works so well for your unique style. You ought to be proud of your skill as an entertainer and educator!

sorry, not buying it. Pads are good. You don't always fall really hard, they protect for even minor falls and do reduce impact at any speed.

Ngl im kinda pissed that there is no content even approaching this qulity for cars. I like cars for the fact I'm afraid of death and have adhd that is fucking virulent. So much so I have a feeling if I got into biking whitch I really would like to it would be the last hobby I ever pick up.

Even without winglets, I've never been able to ride good enough to extract 100% of the potential out of any bike I've had, dirt or street. I've learned to live with the fact that I generally suck, with small moments of pretty good, and no amount of tech will solve that basic fact. Its science.

I love the production quality of all your videos! HOWEVER, I have noticed that your last few videos have been discussing "issues" that actually aren't... For example, this video didn't actually say anything. You brought up an "issue" that you, yourself, state is not really an issue. I'm sorry to say that I can invalidate your entire video by saying, "People like the way they look, and the winglets functionality is irrelevant." You're so gifted regarding production. Please use that talent to stimulate intellect and bring important issues to view. Not to put out videos for the sake of content. Just food for thought. Thank you!

That point at the end about homologation is eye opening. My guess is that the racing authorities are going to be forced to change the homologation rules to allow manufacturers to race bikes that are slightly different from the version they sell in order to avoid killing street riders. I can see lawyers suing the manufacturers, and the racing authorities over parts like these that created an "unsafe" bike for street use that killed their client's husband.

Here’s an idea: I’ve seen some e-bike commercials where middle aged men and women have taken their first e-bike ride and they comment how nice it is to ride without peddling and how nice it is to feel the suspension smoothing out the ride. I’m guessing none of them have ever even considered riding a motorcycle, but would be amazed at the feeling they’d get from a motorcycle. I think that this is an opening for a clever marking scheme to create more riders! It makes me think of Honda’s 1960’s ad campaign where they featured house wives running errands on Honda 50’s, and Honda launched the phrase “You meet the nicest people on a Honda”. I suggest that you create a video along these lines and plant the seed that may increase our riding population!

I mean they're mostly aesthetic on the street right? Homologated wing that doesn't do anything on the street? What's the problem again? I'd take some more Superbirds and Boss429s.

10:43 Honda didn't invent the slipper clutch explicitly for the NR750. Actually they had the slipper clutch on the 1984 and 1985 VF1100S or the Honda sabre v65. And with a big mass like that, it was almost necessary because a hard downshift can cause the back tire to break traction. Speaking from experience, I've had an 85 v65 sabre for the last 4 years. And my father told me a story of when he owned an 83 VF700s that scared the hell out of him because it didn't have a slipper clutch. He sold it the same day he bought it.
