I’ve noticed that since your channel is still growing you have a lot of pro Disney fans commenting with some pretty outlandish takes to justify all this garbage propaganda from Disney. There are more nefarious entities beyond Disney that has groomed Disney to become a propaganda machine-a page straight out of Goebbels Nazi propaganda campaign. One issue with this criticism is the stuff about how the jedi are portrayed in the Barriss arc. Yes, the Jedi are spoken about in a negative way, but why would you expect them not to be spoken about negatively? It is the Imperial era after all. As for the Morgan arc, I partially agree, but I disagree that Wing is portrayed as villainous in the last episode. As much as I hate to say it, the Empire were obviously the bad guys in both arcs, and that is one of the major problems with the Filoni bs. There is no nuance.

The Star Wars galaxy is massive. Full of trillions of beings with their own story. It makes sense that not everyone in the galaxy would view the force in the same way. It's not all jedi and sith. And the show never claims that calling the force "the thread" is what it should be called and seen as by all of the star wars galaxy. It's just how the witch coven on Brendok interpret it. Also there's no indication that the witches were lesbians but that shouldn't matter anyway. I personally enjoy this show and I'm happy to see them branch out and look at more mysterious groups and explore deeper stories than just the Republic and the Jedi.

Okay, would you mind substantiating your claims regarding Filoni with actual examples? And I don't mean the garbage peddled by the likes of Doomcock and Kamran Pasha, but actual stuff from projects Filoni actually worked on (he didn't have much influence over the Kenobi show, his name was just slapped on it for marketing purposes). From where i stand, this looks pretty much the same as RLM, and all the other clowns who used to dunk on Lucas.

When challenged, he hid behind willful misinterpretations of Lucas’ concepts. The World Between Worlds, Obi-Wan’s disconnection, Sabine’s sudden connection, Ahsoka’s unprecedented abilities, Ventress’ survival, the Thread, Mother Aniseya’s conception… I have many, many examples for discussion. Great question. The Clone Wars needed to explain Anakin’s fall, and I think it accomplished that goal. It certainly added missing context. I don’t look back with anger at the series’ portrayal of the Jedi. However, I see several questionable choices. Ahsoka’s trial for example. The Jedi were dumbed down to accomplish certain things at certain times. Fair enough. They were always the galaxy’s best hope for peace and justice.

Enough of that BS. Star Wars was one of the only movies of its time to turn the “damsel in distress” princess archetype on its head. It made Princess Leia the LEADER of the rebellion, a military strategist, who cared for her people and cause and didn’t initially give in to a man’s charms. And when she did fall into a very real and organic relationship-SHE was the one to orchestrate the saving of the MAN. Yea, the slave Leia thing was a bit of a setback; although SOOOOO many women cosplay as it and it’s iconic- but she killed her captor and was kinda bad ass. And THEN she was reason for the success with the Ewoks and the rebellion on Endor because of her diplomacy. AND THEN…in the prequels her mother was the same bad ass woman, and even though it was recycled in a lot of ways, they still kept the strong independent rebel and politician archetype. If anything, the Rey was overly simple, woe is me, and Mary Sue without real definitive struggle and even worse writing THAN THE prequels. So can that crap. And I like the Acolyte so far for everything but the silly “evil twin sister” trope that might as well be “evil step mother.” It’s a trope.

I don’t look back with anger at the series’ portrayal of the Jedi. However, I see several questionable choices. Ahsoka’s trial for example. The Jedi were dumbed down to accomplish certain things at certain times. Fair enough. They were always the galaxy’s best hope for peace and justice.
@galacticinitiative7979 to build on that is shown multiple times that the jedi's problems were that they put their emotion away(causing many machiovelian choices) and hubris(they were unchallenged for thousands of years). They were never shown to be evil but flawed.

I was actually willing to give this one a shot, despite the negative reviews. I made it through a little more than half of the first episode, before I gave up and found something else to watch. Turns out the negative reviews were all right.

Enough of that BS. Star Wars was one of the only movies of its time to turn the “damsel in distress” princess archetype on its head. It made Princess Leia the LEADER of the rebellion, a military strategist, who cared for her people and cause and didn’t initially give in to a man’s charms. And when she did fall into a very real and organic relationship-SHE was the one to orchestrate the saving of the MAN. Yea, the slave Leia thing was a bit of a setback; although SOOOOO many women cosplay as it and it’s iconic- but she killed her captor and was kinda bad ass. And THEN she was reason for the success with the Ewoks and the rebellion on Endor because of her diplomacy. AND THEN…in the prequels her mother was the same bad ass woman, and even though it was recycled in a lot of ways, they still kept the strong independent rebel and politician archetype. If anything, the Rey was overly simple, woe is me, and Mary Sue without real definitive struggle and even worse writing THAN THE prequels. So can that crap. And I like the Acolyte so far for everything but the silly “evil twin sister” trope that might as well be “evil step mother.” It’s a trope.
EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER is a DIFFERENT kind of minority. There's no 2 black women or men. No 2 asian women or men. It's one of each of all. Except a white man. Therefore it's clear they did not cast based on acting skill. That's the issue. I'm no trumptard, but this is obvious bullshittrey.
