There is a WHOLE lot to agree with in this episode. . . A point was made early in the video that "they" will never retcon the Disney sequels to try and fix their Star Wars problem. . . The ironic part is that may very well be true. BUT, if Disney does not actually retcon their sequel trilogy, Star Wars has no chance to be at it's best again. Disney's catch 22.

Thank you for your comment! Further irony: Disney has quietly distanced itself from the sequels by reducing/eliminating merch, closing the Galactic Starcruiser, etc., but… Lucasfilm’s producers insist on backing the trilogy by jamming nonsensical background threads into D+ series, such as The Bad Batch and Mando 3, and publishing novels that attempt to cover plot holes. The corporation’s internal divide would be hilarious if it wasn’t destroying my favorite IP.

@galacticinitiative7979 Agreed! It's all very noticeable when we look for it. Frankly, I think we all see the painfully obvious. Disney's soft reset will not work. Disney needs a publicly observed house cleaning and all the replacements need to be people the public trust to helm Star Wars. That's how bad this has gotten.

@@seantaylor1191 Yes, a housecleaning is long overdue. Poor results should’ve already triggered one. Disney and LFL remain defiant in spite of every performance metric. Eventually, I hope even the most determined backers will divest their funds due to lack of ROI. Rebellions are built on hope, I’ve heard. But… As time passes, the window for change closes.

@galacticinitiative7979 Yep. Every backer. . . Oh! Except, of course, not Blackrock. . . You could do a whole video on them. They're one of the big reasons Disney has been giving us so much utter garbage in the first place.
