It's too late for Valve to win me back to TF2. I stopped playing the game a long time ago and moved on to other games I like to play more than spending my time on waiting for respawn between deaths by skilled players or bots too often. It affected my attitude too. Star Trek Online, Forza Horizon 5, and Minecraft are happy to have me every day.

So from one youtuber who said that 70% of players are bots who has now been proven false*, to another youtuber who wants to nail our balls to the walls. Grow up people, stop following one loud mouth to the next loud mouth. Advocate for facts not what has been plainly said. *after the ban wave, the player base increased anyways. Actuall players which proves my anti-theory true- there arent that many bots than we assume there are.

What Valve needs to do is to remove the time limit on the vote kicks so the community as a whole can kick the bots ASAP.

When I got a computer just play tf2 , I only saw one bot that got ban during game and I only played for couple days now’s, i been enjoying the game without seeing bots besides that one time

The fact that Valve even had the audacity to try and offer new cosmetics without even acknowledging the bot crisis until yet another petition was made tells me all I need to know. It'll only be a matter of time before they forget about this game again and ditch it, as much as I hate to say it. Valve is not a gaming company any more, they're a tech company now. I wish they'd just sell the IP to a company that will treat it right, but I know that will never happen.

I cashed out well before the #FixTF2 came to be; just got sick and tired of the state of the game. But the recent developments in the game's state-of-play has really perked my spirits up, and I'm getting that familiar urge to play again. It feels awesome. However, I can't in good faith change my Game Review or commit to buying anything from the Marketplace; in-game/ Steam/ or community hosted, not until there is definitive proof that this game isn't just going to be ignored again. We've showed you that we care, and you've showed us that you see all this going on, Valve. Now follow through and show us that YOU care.

I have a theory that might give people some hope: - It's known that Valve is currently working on an AI driven Anti Cheat project. - Valve almost certainly could have dropped this bot nuke years ago. They know who the bots were. The community even did it for them. So why didn't they? - Free training data. - These dumbass bot hosters unknowingly just gave Valve millions of hours of training data for their AI Anti Cheat. They have given Valve the perfect dataset to create a perfectly automatic Anti Cheat system that they could leave running on TF2 for years with very little maintenance. And the fact that they just executed such a big ban wave tells me that they're moving onto the next stage. It's just a theory, but all the details line up too perfectly.

I worry this might encourage Valve to just quit the game entirely. If it makes them no money, why bother fix it? But at the same time if we keep giving them money, we are encouraging them to do nothing. It is a double edged sword in my opinion.

Is TF2 playable again? Videogames usually bore the fuck out of me. The only long-term appealing games I've found are TBOI and TF2. Now I have to troll in Valorant to find fun, but that game is only playable with friends since its playerbase is full of cringelords and babies

i got tf2 right around the time when the bots started to multiply so it became unplayable.. have been stuck on private servers ever since then. they gotta fix the issue for good before i spend anything else on the game.

Ever since the bots+cheaters got banned it felt like a huge weight is off of my chest. I don't care if tf2 gets any update anymore it's up to us to make the game fun. Fighting countless of cheaters and winning against them with strats and counters. I can finally rest and know that these man children have lost the war against those who still stood against them with their swords up.
