Very helpful, so many tutorials I see have the contact point somewhere else, even below the knee, which seems much less secure. I will try it this way! Thank you!

I started this routine in February and finally got my split in April! I’m so happy with my progress that it surprises me there’s only a few thousand views. It really helped my active flexibility- I tried a split on gym rings and got a lot closer to flat than I was expecting shortly after I got a split on the floor. I hope I can get it on my bad side soon too. I actually started pole dance too because of it even though I wasn’t interested before and only wanted to get my split 😂❤

This was amazing! Can't believe this has only a few thousand views. I already feel like this is the most useful set of exercises for splits I've come across. Gonna try and do them 2-3 times a week because I've been in a split plateau for almost a year. Thank you! ♥

Everyone’s journey is different. So get there faster, but it’s about looking after your body in the process and knowing it’s okay for your journey not to be the same as someone else’s

This is a wonderful workout. I tend to prefer moving slowly, rather than stress with bouncing around like most workouts do. That's why I chose Yoga to begin with as my way of working out. But yoga doesn't give my body a proper workout --because the positions that does that relies on your arms, and my arms always hurt if I put much weight on them at all. Or lift anything heavier than a book... So I can't really get a good workout with Yoga. (I also prefer to sit on the floor rather than standing up. lol) But this video actually have a really good workout that is easy, mostly sitting, AND it increases ones flexibility. Which is great! It would have been nice if you had gone through the movements with a little more repetition... you tend to switch position just as I finally manage to get into them. (Likely because these are so routine to you, but new to your viewers.) It would also have helped with more vocal instructions, especially since it's hard to always keep the screen in view when you are working out, so your viewers will rely on vocal commands for when to switch side and so on. (Granted, I am used to do my yoga to the chatterbox SeanVigueFitness, so I am used to his style. But I think it's a very good KZread-ing style to have, since it's full of instructions.) That aside, however, your video is one of the better ones I've found. I may want to check out more of your videos after my shower. lol

Thanks a lot for your generous tutorial. There's quite a bit of technique to it. This step-by-step approach eased me into it nicely. Previously I had just seen dancers do the move and tried it cold but it is very awkward, more so than it seems.

Thanks Marissa! This is my ultimate favorite full body stretch routine, I'm a newbie and she does so great at really explaining everything and what muscles you're stretching. I start out stiff and sore and I end feeling lose and ready for more. So grateful for this channel, thanks ladies and I'm looking forward to more. Cheers!

Thank you, this was really fun and so amazing to have a full routine! I'm still working through it day by day but it's helping me get better at a lot of "fundamental" floorwork movements (like the sexy push up) and transitioning from place to place across the floor. Love it! Also, you're a fantastic instructor - ty for the variations and showing the view from the back (as if in a studio).
