Just so you know, when it comes to dates like these "66 million years ago", "80 million years ago", etc..., the correct way to order it is furthest from our point in time to closest to our point in time So for example "the Megalodon lived from 20 million years ago to 3.6 million years ago" as opposed to "3.6 million years ago to 20 million years ago" Also, side note, the way you pronounce some of these names reminds me of Mr. DNA

I am a marine biologist and I'll break this down for you all. - Japanese spider crabs have weak claws that are nowhere near capable of holding on to or crushing a person, and they live way too deep for even a scuba diver to encounter one. - Ocean Sunfish are incredibly slow moving and are often credited as one of the frendliest fish in the ocean. - The oarfish is physically not capable of eating something larger than a childs foot, even then they dont possess the bite strength to take off a foot, they only feed on jellyfish. And they are also a deep sea fish that you almost never see near the surface unless it's dying. - Giant pacific octopuses are venomous and can give a pretty nasty bite, but they are incredibly shy, and the venom itself is not fatal. - The colossal squid and giant squid live incredibly deep, but they would attempt to prey on you if you were somehow down that far. - Basking sharks cannot swallow anything larger than a basketball, but their skin is.like sandpaper and will hurt if rubbed against. - Whale sharks are the same as basking sharks in terms of how dangerous they are. - Sperm whales will not go out of their way to attack you or your boat, but they can emmit sonar waves that are capable of giving you an instant brain bleed, but this is extremely rare. - Blue whales are completely harmless, and they aren't capable of swallowing anything larger than a beach ball. - Lions mane jellyfish is the only thing here potentially dangerous. They have a mild sting, but their has been cases of people getting tangled in their tentacles.

Not sure if someone has mentioned this already, but Perucetus Collosus deserves a mention! It's a fairly recent discovery so we don't have much information on it, but it was big news for potentially being heavier than the blue whale. There's still debates on whether this estimation is accurate, but either way, it would have been huge 👐
