👍👍👍 Paul, this is an outstanding setup. Nice garden. Have a great weekend!
How's she goin'? That is one fine set up you have on the trailer Paul!! I like that it is versatile and able to be set up for different functions too. Smart thinking!! Take care!!
Paul, that is beyond impressive. I remember decades ago when we moved on to our property, fixing up a huge water tank in a dump trailer behind my tractor and going around and watering all of the plants and trees that we placed when we did our landscape plan. It was just gravity fed , but yours is the bee's knees!
What a great trailer setup you have. A place for everything and everything has a place.
Thanks Kenny. The trailer setup is working out great for me. Have a fantastic weekend!
Paul...that is very slick. If you lived closer, I'd try and talk you into making one for me. Great job!
Thank you Tod. It wouldn't take much to talk me into making one for you. I wired up the trailer lights and got some fenders to weld on. Just need to get it plated now. Have a superb weekend!
Nice setup! I desperately want Milwaukee to release a battery powered pressure washer, so I can build something similar for remote water pressure spraying, but I mY look at doing something similar with a battery powered transfer pump. But I did run water lines everywhere haha. Thanks for sharing and nice fire pole.
Thank you Ross. That would be great to have everything battery powered. It would be so much more quiet to operate and no gas and oil. The biggest thing is to control the pressure, but if there is a will there is a way. That'll be version 4.0. have a super weekend!
Like you said Paul "very slick" that is one cool water trailer 👍🏻 and the fire stick is also cool. Have a great weekend Paul 🙋🏼♂
Thanks Luc. This new version of the watering system has been awesome. The fire pit tool has become very useful. You too, have a great weekend!
That’s a great setup Paul! Nice job. That’s a really cool tool for the fire pit.
Thank yo Brian. Version 3.0 has really been working out well for me. Yes the fire pit tool is cool and shortly after the video I tried it out and it's great. Have a fantastic weekend!
Nice system! Gave me some good ideas, too! I wonder if I could run a pump adequately with a battery "generator"? It would be quieter. Thanks Paul 🤠👍
Thanks Sam. Using a battery generator would definitely be a whole lot more quieter. This new version has really been working out well for me. Have a super weekend!
Good Morning To Both Of You 👌😇👍 You have made an OUTSTANDING Version 3.0 Mobile Water Service Unit 👍😇👌Very Nice Tool ( grapol ) tool 😇👍🔥Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING Husband and Wife Team Work Sir Cheers 👍👍😇👌🍻
Good morning Sir. Through experiences I have been able to come up with improvements. This new version has really been working out well for me. Have a fabulous weekend!
I really like the water wagon Paul. I like the self priming pump. Enjoy The Journey - Cheers
Thanks Bod. This new version of my water system has really been working out well. The self priming pump is great. Have a fantastic weekend!
Watering system just gets better and better. Brent
Thanks Brent. Have a super weekend!

👍👍 👍 Removing stumps with the backhoe seems easy to do.
There's a whole lot of enjoyment removing stumps with a backhoe. Have a fantastic day!
Nice machine. Thank you for sharing. Wishing you all the best 😊
Thank you kindly. All the best to you as well and have a super day!
My stihl ms 251 has been running strong for 7 years.
That's great. Having a chainsaw that is dependable and last for years is what you want. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
I really appreciate you doing the different types of wood bark. I've seen demos on smooth bark trees but this really covered the range I hope to deal with.
Thank you. I am glad that the video gave you some insight regarding various barks. Thanks for watching and have a super day!
The fun a man has with his toys, and it all started when we were kids in a sandbox. Cheers to toys in the sand box.
Thank You. It most certainly did start when we were kids in a sandbox. The fun never stops. Have a super evening!
Great Video we actually bought two of these for Stihl chainsaws and we remove routes from people's yard to keep them from running them over with the lawn mowers and bending the crankshafts and the blades it's a lot faster with an axe and a shovel and it gets the job done just buy shaving the Root
Thank you. That is a great use for the log peeler. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for watching and have a fantastic week!
Wow! Continue sharing your wonderful work videos with us! Let's keep our connection alive~
Thank you kindly. I appreciate you watching. Have a great week!
Hello Paul. I would love to have a backhoe! I would put it to good use. I could use it to dig up that maple I want to transplant lol. It always amazes me how far the roots of a tree can spread! I think a grapple would be a great asset too. Take care.
Good morning John. You got that right some tree roots are amazingly long. I was wondering if rental village had a tree spade to rent to transplant that maple. I do have a grapple and it is most certainly a great asset. Happy Canada day 🇨🇦
@@JelenOutDoors I might check out the rental village. Thanks
Good morning Paul!
A good morning to you Gary.
Hey Paul, nice job. Wish I had a better solution for stumps. Have a great week.
Thanks Tod. There is a lot of enjoyment taking out stumps with a backhoe. You too, have a great week!
Good afternoon Paul. I must say, I do enjoy watching people use their backhoes. My favorite attachment. We could tell you were having fun. Enjoy the holiday tomorrow, Ben 👋😎👍🍻
Good evening Ben. The backhoe most certainly is a great attachment and I know that you use your backhoe a lot. Definitely having fun with it removing stumps and big rocks. You too, enjoy the holiday tomorrow!
Excellent job removing the stump using the backhoe.
Thanks Kenny. I am having fun with the backhoe. Have a super week!
Paul, it was so much fun to see all the work you had put in to installing the backhoe really pay off!!! I had one on my BX years ago and didn't really use it that much. But when I did, it was such a blessing!
Thanks John. It has been very rewarding to have done the backhoe installation myself. I am totally enjoying ripping out stumps and big rocks. My previous backhoe I put nearly 400 hours on it This new backhoe will see a whole lot more action than the previous one. It is one of those attachments that you either use a lot or not very often. I agree that it's a blessing to have when you need it. Have a fantastic week!
Great job Paul! I have to admit, I wish I had opted for the backhoe on my BX. I'll probably get that option on my next tractor 🤠👍
Thanks Sam. I wish I would have had this backhoe come with my tractor when I purchased it just over 2 years ago. I would like to get an excavator eventually to replace the backhoe, smaller than the one you have, but it's not in the budget right now. Have a super Sunday!
Awesome 💪. They are so handy! Have a great weekend and happy digging!
Thanks Mike. The backhoe is great. Your too, have a great weekend!
A few observations from using my BX backhoe with limited hydraulic power. 1) Up the RPM to get more power but makes things harder for delicate work 2) for breaking roots, use the bucket's curl function at the same time as booming out to use the leverage to snap roots easier. 3) When digging deep, scrape the earth with the teeth of the bucket then scoop up the loose dirt with the bucket to avoid compacting the wet earth in the bucket so it falls out easier if it's anything like in my area.. Well done! Awesome project, and have fun! The backhoe is one of the best things I got.
Thanks Ross. All excellent points. I had a backhoe for 6 years and sold it just over 2 years ago. I then bought the tractor I have now but since it was at covid time I couldn't get a backhoe for it. I totally missed not having a backhoe and I am very happy to finally pick one up for my current tractor. Hope you are having a great weekend despite all of this rain we are getting.
I love my backhoe, and will be putting it back on my BX shortly to dig up some stumps and make way for more planting. Giving it a full watch now Paul. Happy Canada Day weekend.
From watching your videos you have gotten a lot of use out of your backhoe so I can fully understand why you love it. They are a fantastic attachment that enable you to do so many different task. You too, Happy Canada Day weekend!
I liked how you chipped apart the root 👍🏻 that looked like a lot of fun 👍🏻. I sure it was for you and more fun to come 👍🏻. Have a great Saturday Paul 🙋🏼♂
Thanks Luc. That root was so thick and there was no other way to get the stump loose without chipping away at it. It was a whole lot of fun to do. The stump I did right after (not filmed) was much bigger and I enjoyed every minute ripping it out. You too, have a great Saturday!
That was a tricky dig because you had roots from surrounding trees to contend with. Great video, but sometimes, a stump grinder is the answer.
Good morning Gregory. It most certainly was a bit tricky with the nearby tree and the stump I was removing being tied together. I had thought about getting a stump grinder since I do have a few hundred stumps to remove. I don't disagree that a stump grinder would be very effective, but the issue is that there are far too many big rocks, long surface roots, etc. to deal with and I don't want to switch back and forth between attachments. Especially when the backhoe can do it all. Also, the additional expense to rent or buy a stump grinder (plus storage) is not something that appeals to me. Thanks for watching and have a super weekend!
@@JelenOutDoors I am in the same spot with stumps and rocks - I did get the Woodland Mills Chipper (WC46) this spring - the stump grinder is now looking appealing since I like the quality of the chipper. It’s all about the use of time and storage space. I like your KZread channel- good content!
Thank you kindly. It sure is about time and storage / maintenance. The Woodland Mills stump grinder does look impressive just like all of the rest of their equipment. I have been burning 90% of the brush and the other 10% I cart off to a brush dump site just 5 minutes away. I have been debating on getting the WC68 so that I can get rid of the brush at any time rather than waiting for the appropriate time to burn or having to cart it away.
Good Morning To both of You 👍👍👌👌😇😇Very Nice Stump Removal and OUTSTANDING Video 😇👍💪Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING Husband and Wife Team Work Cheers 🍻🍻
Good morning Sir and thank you. Have a fantastic weekend!
Good morning Paul. The backhoe will get a lot of use. Enjoy The Journey - Cheers
Good morning Bob. I have already put 40 hours on it and I have enjoyed every bit of time using it. I can easily see hundreds of more hours for all the work that I plan to do with it. Have a fabulous weekend!
Good afternoon Paul. Great to see the backhoe installed and operational. I am impressed with the space you have between the seat and the controls. Our backhoe is fine once I am seated, but I have to be careful getting on or off, that I don't catch my clothing on the controls. A few have mentioned a dolly. We have a gravel floor in the barn, but a piece of plywood under each wheel of the dolly lets me move the backhoe a bit for proper alignment with the tractor. Made my life so much easier. Thanks for the videos on this installation, I really enjoyed them. 👋😎👍🍻 Ben
Good evening Ben and thank you. There is plenty of room, I actually move the seat forward to get myself closer to the control levers so that I can comfortably operate the backhoe. I am going to add a second seat just for the backhoe since there is so much room and I don't like rotating the tractor seat. I most certainly will be making a dolly once I pour the cement pad in the tractor shed. I am using the backhoe daily and won't be taking it off for a quite a while. Have a great weekend!
Good Evening Sir, Welcome Into The Marvelous World Of Backhoe Therapy 🤣👌👍 Thank You Very Kindly For Your Detail Informative Video Sir and You can Patch Your Scratch with a little patch Of Fiberglass and do Both Sides So It Will Look Like A Scoff Pad 🤣🧐👍Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING Husband and Wife Team Work Cheers 👍👍🧐🧐🍻🍻
Good evening Sir. Thank you. I had a backhoe for 6 years on my previous tractor and I put close to 400 hours on it. I regret not buying another backhoe 2 years ago when I bought the tractor I have now. I am super happy to finally add a backhoe to my Kubota LX2610. I have plenty of work to do with it, yes plenty of backhoe therapy. I have to repair my canopy so I'll most likely take care of the scratch at the same time. Thanks for your continued support. Have a fantastic week Sir!
Great and handy work content, my friends! Best wishes for all the success coming your way on your channel~
Thank you very much. Have a super week!
I watched a KZread comparison that shows the Kubota 3rd Function valve kit is very different and better than the Land Pride one. I insisted my dealer install the Kubota one. Not sure why they have 2 options. Also not sure why you are making such a big deal to single out the LP switch price. You should rant about all LP prices. Most LandPride prices seem ridiculous. My Land Pride box blade BB1566 was about 25-30% more than good comparables I’ve seen since I stupidly bought the LP. Same for 3 pt hitch scraper blades with hydraulics. LP pricing is just arrogance. I now always look for alternatives when I can.
Good morning. I have seen a Tractor Time with Tim video doing a comparison of the Land Pride vs Kubota 3rd function valve installation, they are very different. I went with Land Pride because the hydraulic lines and valve are not as exposed as much at the loader. You are right Land Pride pricing is a little overwhelming. I'll be looking for alternatives in the future as well. Have a fantastic day!
If you store the BH on a concrete pad, I recommend making a storage dolly for it. The dolly makes it very easy to move the BH around and move it into position when attaching it to the tractor. Several KZread videos posted showing great dolly designs for a BH.
That's a great idea, thank you. Currently I don't have a concrete pad but I am going to pour a concrete floor in my tractor shed this summer. I really like the backhoe dolly that I had seen on the Sweat Equity Life channel. Bringing the backhoe to the tractor on the dolly will most certainly be easier to get it aligned to install on the tractor. Have a super day!
👍👍👍 Time to do some digging Amazing job as always Paul. Good Video.
Thank you very much. Yes it's digging time. Have a super Sunday!
How's she goin'? The backhoe is going to be a great add to your tractor and you did a very good job installing it! I enjoyed your description of what you went through to get the back hoe installed. Thanks and take 'er easy!!
It's going good Mike. Thank you kindly. The backhoe is getting a lot of work and I am enjoying using it. Have a fantastic Sunday!
Good job on getting everything functioning. Let's see it in action now.
Thank you. There will be some digging with the backhoe in upcoming videos. Have a great weekend!
Paul, loved the video again! Two things I’ve ordered the longer operating backhoe arms so that was sorted out for me. I didn’t know or didn’t look for the seat swivel sticker but i did the exact same thing I had the seat forward rotated the seat and ended up putting a nice scratch in the black plastic by the pto lever wasn’t happy. Also my hazard lights are on the fenders and the wiring comes up and on the outside. I don’t operate in the wood but I could see it maybe get snagged on brush. That’s just how the dealer installed my hazard lights. Enjoy easy digging !
Thank you very much. That's excellent you are getting the longer levers. Yup, rotating the seat when forward is a bit of a painful lesson. Scratches like that are hard to take. I don't mind where the lights are mounted now but I am going to rewire them so that the wire won't get caught on anything. I am enjoying digging. Have a fabulous weekend!
Paul, you never cease to amaze me!! That was no small job, and it seemed like you handled it with ease. You might want to be grateful that I don't live closer.... otherwise, I'd be calling you every weekend for help!🤣
Thank you kindly John. Overall the job was pretty straightforward and enjoyable to do. If we lived closer it would be a pleasure to get together on weekends to help each other out. Have a fantastic weekend!
Well done Paul, can't wait to see it in action 👍🏻. Have a great weekend 🙋🏼♂
Thanks Luc. You will see it in action in an upcoming video. You too, have a great weekend!
Good morning Paul. Nice job. Looks like you are ready to move some dirt. Looking forward to seeing your future projects!
Good morning Tod and thank you. My wife has had me do a few unexpected jobs for her already. Have a super weekend!
Great video, Paul! And yes - if the tractor ain't lined up perfectly, the backhoe can be a bear to attach! Sometimes the attaching goes smoothly, other times it takes a while. Thanks for sharing. - Rick
Thanks Rick. You got that right. I had a backhoe on my previous tractor and like you said, sometimes it goes smoothly, other times it takes a while. This backhoe is much easier to mount and dismount, just gotta align the tractor straight. Have a fantastic weekend!
Looks good Paul. Nice job!
Thanks Brian. I really like the generator box you built. Have a fabulous weekend!
Great job getting that all hooked up. The next step?....time to do some digging! Take care
Thanks John. My wife has had me do a few unexpected jobs for her right after I had everything installed. You too, take care. Have a superb weekend!
Hey Paul. You did a great job installing the backhoe and a clear explanation of the process and changes you made. I can't wait to see it in action.
Thanks Kenny. I have been doing a fair bit of work with the backhoe. I wish I would have bought it when I bought the tractor. Have a fantastic weekend!
