I went to see ticket availability for Furiosa. Almost no tickets have been sold. I have a feeling Furiosa will also be a flop. 😢

I just saw the Fall Guy last night. It was a great movie. Not sure why it flopped. Maybe too much Ryan Gosling too quickly.

Didn't realise that Atlantis and bladerunner 2049 were flops. I thought this list was more so movies that would not be quite so well known. If those two flopped at the box office they def have a big following these days. Direct to dvd sequels is completely standard for cartoons back then. All famous Disney movies had direct to dvd sequels 😂 and the new bladerunner is surely highly acclaimed. But anyway its your list

The Sopranos finale was really good. I don't know why you put it with the other ones like that. Sure, it was controversial, and it frustrated a lot of people. But it aged really well, and a lot of people love it. It's not universally despised like those other ones.

Treaure Planet and Atlantis: The Lost Empire are my favorite Disney movies, especially Treasure Planet. the fact we were ROBBED of a sequel and a tv series because Disney wanted to get into CGI and made CHICKEN LITTLE instead is a crime that I just can NEVER forgive Disney for.

I love movies, but I absolutely refused to go to the movies. The noise level makes me tense and gives me indigestion, how it can be okay to have the volume so high that your ears ring for a couple hours after I dont understand

A great movie that remains largely unrecognized even amidst the obscure cinema discourse, much to my dismay, is the indie mockumentary following the doomed reunion tour of titular band of Canadian punks "Hard Core Logo."

Funny, I don't even acknowledge any season after 1-3 because it just felt like a whole other show... although I managed to watch up until a few episodes into s5 and I admit there were good *moments* but just overall not interesting, even with Dylan OB there. The comedy wasn't the same, most of the good side characters were gone / barely in it and replaced by new faces they couldn't make me care about. I never understood the addition of Liam because it just felt like they were trying to make a Scott Jr for some reason, set up a reboot new generation? With lesser, blander characters? Couples were boring and took up a lot of time. The biggest mistake here (except the movie being made) I think was bringing Allison back. She was one of the characters who had a really impactful send off and her arc s1-3 was satisfying. Them erasing that trauma for our other characters is stupid. Especially when there were so many other characters with *unfinished* or cut short arcs that could've been done some justice with more screentime and an opportunity to continue. But seeing as how Jeff doesn't know how to write anymore maybe that was for the best.

I personally would've given a shoutout to Children of Men, one of the best sci-fi films of the 2000s with an amazing cast and directed by Alfonso Cuarón, yet it struggled to even make back its production budget

The Sandman is one of my favorite comics. But I also think that the tv adaption was a vast improvement, which is saying something because The Sandman was basically made to be an anthology of loosely connected comic stories floating around in time, and the tv series is always going to have to fight that. Not to mention how it had to change and readjust so many things, like the existence of superheroes. But my god, the stuff they did with the John Dee storyline--despite being someone who normally loves extremely dark and edgy fiction, Passengers and 24 Hours honestly went way too dark for me, to the point I had to skip those chapters on all my Sandman rereads. But I really couldn't look away from the TV adaptation, and I loved how much it expanded upon John Dee and his mother, how they make the stuff in the diner so much more cohesive to the point I had to know what happened next, how John actually SPARES the woman who drove him. I think the tv adaptations of Gaiman's works are honestly consistently a testament to how much he's grown as an author and knows how to accept criticism and advice. Especially since realizing I'm trans, I've been really looking forwards to how they adapt A Doll's House! Also the arc where all the factions each plead their cases for ownership of Hell!

Seen The Fall Guy last night, so boring, the story and dialogues are bland, I did not laugh a single time, the reveal is obvious. And like Babylon and other movies about filmmaking taking place on movie sets, critics love it because they are cinema nerds, but it’s not interesting for the public. So despite great photography, okay directing, and a good casting (except the bad guys), it is not an entertaining movie at all.

So funny - Grey Man I absolutely remember (and enjoyed) and I really loved the Adam Project and did watch it multiple times. (I thought Walter Scobell was fantastic and really nailed Ryan Reynold's tone and delivery in kid version. Also, I love Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner and Ryan Reynolds and Zoe Saldana so I think I was inclined to enjoy it from the jump.) The rest...not so much? I feel like the larger problem with Netflix is it throws too much money out at too many projects which yields a never-ending amount of new content. It's a fire hose. No one can drink out of the fire hose. No one. It's too much to keep track of! Two seconds after you get invested in something they cancel it and put out something new.
