Everything related to languages is here (language learning tips, literature, history of languages, linguistics etc.)
👩🏻🏫 My name's Yulia. My life is closely related to languages - being a native Russian speaker, I learn/speak English, Spanish, French and a bit of Hindi (hopefully, more to come).
Welcome!

Tonga is a Polynesian island too 😭 lol I’m Tongan and although the Tongan language is not going to be extinct anytime soon a lot of the American born Tongans can barely form a sentence let alone understand it and it’s sad … I am one of them 😅 only one of us 9 siblings speak Tongan fluently and that’s because she was raised by our grandparents in the islands, my other older siblings can understand and seem to speak okay grammar but sometimes even my aunties laugh at their accent or incorrect phrases lol i have a daughter and hope to be able to learn more Tongan (and spanish) so she could connect more to those sides of her culture and family.
Thank you for commenting here! That's very interesting to get acquainted with the Tongan language - so unique.
❤ Je t'adore ❤ Well, ... I am really intrigued by the "spoken" dialects of German. Schwabish and Bairisch in particular. They are still spoken in Southern Germany and Austria and maybe in Switzerland and Northern Italy. These languages are spoken, usually at home, as a mother tongue. They are predecessors of Standard German languages. The Standard Languages probably were constructed from various dialects of German. I listen to German dialect songs by Melissa Naschenweng. Such beautiful songs from Southern Germany and Austria. Such wonderful music ❤
❤
Thank you
thank you so much for mentioning cornish! meur ras dhis! <3
Great video, thanks!
So great.Tolstoy like a wise genius friend. Dostoyevsky like myself.
Very interesting and informative review. Helped me to read and understand the book. Thank you. From Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Very glad you found it helpful 😊
I think you did yourself a disservice here, as you took away or just touched upon the interesting parts, and leaft just the very superficial ones.
Thanks for your observation. But I guess if I was to go deeper into the topic, the video would last 10 hours
@@LanguageEasy Between 15 minutes, and 10 hours, lots of other possibilities exits.
I think the video length is perfect for beginners like me

Another fun way to go about language learning that I’d like to share is through Immersive Translate. It’s a browser extension that supports over 100+ languages. I like to use it with Netflix to watch my shows and movies every day, which has really helped me become immersed in my target language. This has been a great way for me to improve my language skills.
I agree with you that note-taking can be a very important part of language learning. One of the ways I’m able to supplement my language learning process is through Immersive Translate. It’s a browser extension that supports over 100+ languages. I use it to watch my shows and movies on Netflix every day, and this has really helped me become immersed in the language. I’ve already learned a lot, and am really glad I found the plugin when I did.
Christmas in Canada is almost nonexistent compared to how it was in the 80’s as a child.
I love this channel even though I often used google translate and chat GPT for translation of languages around the world while I am online gaming globally. Thanks Language Easy💟
🎉
Very beautiful notebook! But as a spanish native speaker, I saw that you write on the first page "Marta acaba de nacer su primera hija", that's wrong, put instead "Marta acaba de tener a su primera hija". That's all, great job!! 💗
Thank you ✨ Yes, there are of course mistakes I'm aware of already now! But I prefer to leave them as they are, so I see my "progress"... This is pretty much better, in my opinion, than "progress trackers" 🤓
Very much informative
What about Manx... Alemmanic and Luxembourgish!? Varagians and Gepids!? It lacked a lot of things... 😂
Manx? It’s Celtic…
you sound slavic.. я просто только начал смотреть твое видео
Приятного просмотра! (i AM slavic)

Merci beaucoup! Hope you find something else handy on my channel on this topic 😊
Very nice video, I want to be fluent in English , what books or magazines you recommend for me to use in the notebook?
Thank you for watching! I myself really enjoy "Simple Things" or "Happiful" (check out my previous video "commonplace book", I mentioned and showed there more!)
This is such a great idea, thank you for sharing, I feel very inspired 💡🌷
🤗✨
Soy argentina, de Buenos Aires y recién descubro tu canal ¡ Y me encanta ! Por cierto Isabel Allende es una de mis escritoras contemporáneas favoritas, super recomendable !!
Don't forget low german, a endangered language spoken in north Germany and east Netherlands
Great Tip! This is something I will definitely think about and see how I can implement this in my daily life. Your book is lovely! ❤
Thank you! I'm sure you'll make a wonderful book 😍✨
a very interesting idea, thank you so much!
Have you tried binding your own books? Based on the aspects of commonplacing that you seem to enjoy, I suspect you would enjoy that as well. In addition to an extra layer of creativity, it would also give you the flexibility to keep adding groups of pages until you decide that book is done, and bind it at the end. I got started with a KZread series on a channel called Sea Lemon, in case you'd like to have a look.
Hi! Yes, I do that, plus all the books I create for my shop are binded by me ✨ and yes also to your idea of binding till the book is complete - I'm actually doing it right now with another notebook haha Thanks for your recommendation, will have a look
Супер идея!!! Спасибо ❤

Leo Tolstoy is a favourite of mine; his words, like stars, will forever shine. Three Quests, his tale, so grand, inspirational, like grains of sand. Thank you for sharing his life's art In just 11 minutes, you impart. Here's a poem, my humble start, "The Dust of Our Hearts," a work of heart. THE DUST OF OUR HEARTS," Air is full of dust- dust piles up in every corner affecting our thoughts and hearts. Whenever anything is not cleaned up only for a couple of days or even less than that we can see how this dust always piles up. There is too much propaganda everywhere. Some of these propagandas are like the dust in our hearts- while some propaganda may actually cleanse our hearts! If we do not cleanse the dust from our hearts then our hearts gradually lose their power to determine the difference between what is right and what is wrong. Good lituracher and philosophical musings cleanse our hearts and make them stronger for our happiness and a more meaningful life.
My fisrt language is Hindi if you need help tell me any body
Great
Hello Miss, Im from Malaysia and i love to learning a lot of languages. Can i have a question if you dont mind? If someone didnt have any books like French storybook or any magazines that have diferent languages, is it okay if they use an app like google translate to get ideas for learning grammar or write and essays etc..
Hello 👋🏻 well, firstly any method that really helps you in your language learning process is fine if it works out for you! To be honest, it's hard for me to imagine how Google translate can help with grammar... But if you're using it to translate specific words or phrases and get new vocabulary, why not? P.S. the internet is full of different kinds of magazines and even books that are absolutely for free 😉
@LanguageEasy Ohh okay 👍..I will try my best to find all languages grammar in the Internet.. and also thanks for the informations, it's useful for me to find out😄
COUNT Tolstoy to you.
I’m trying to improve my writing and fluency in finnish and english, I’m on a beginner level in italian and swedish :(
You'll surely make it 🙌🏻 take your learning process as an interesting journey through these fascinating languages 😍
Hello! I would like to learn Urdu because my husband is from Pakistan
I'm sure you'll do that 🙌🏻
Thanks 🙏
I learn (and teach) Scottish Gaelic, a minority endangered language related to Irish, and with a similar history of suppression, famine, mass emigration and marginalisation, and similarly being revitalised. This video gives an optimistic picture of revitalisation - it's very, very difficult. However, I'd much rather be optimistic than defeatist! There are signs of progress - the number of speakers in the younger age group is increasing, Gaelic medium education exists up to University level, perception of the language as a low-prestige tongue has significantly improved, and there is more interest from adult learners than ever. Delighted to see quotes from Joshua Fishman - one of my personal linguistic heroes! He said (and I wholeheartedly agree!) that the key to language revitalisation/revival is to *provide things people want or need through the medium of the target language.* Other things may help, but, without that, nothing will be successful in the long term. Current efforts are heavily dependant on precarious government funding, and I would like to see a shift towards a more self-sustaining funding climate. Thank you for highlighting language revitalisation!
Thank you very much for your feedback! The topic of Scottish Gaelic is really interesting too. Hope to be able to highlight it on my channel in the future!

I'm overwhelmed! I'm astonished! I wonder how an entirely a broken man could have contributed a construction to the mankind through touching the human psychology endeavour quest persuet and never-ending question of the purpose of being here in this world in his writings! No doubt he is the all time writer on this globe other than divine writings and revelations!
This has to be one of the best videos on the subject, thanks for not adding in a bunch of trackers i know I'll never use! What you have is so much more applicable and practical.
💛✨
