This car is now available for pre-order in Australia deliveries in last quarter of this year. That charge speed is amazing. How are the seats for comfort as your brother just before 8min mark noticed he was stretching or changing position in his seat so hope they are comfy. Efficiency is good as well overall. The limit on the supercharger sounds like other 800v cars like the Ioniq 5/6 also get the same limitation this car had. Wonder what the RWD version would have been like as should be more efficient and longer range.
Seats are very similar to the ones in Tesla Model Y.
Coolt, otrolig bil detta. Ser lovande ut. Tack
Yes, håller med. Tack för att du tittade. 👍
its also called weinerbread in danish :D
So save as in Sweden 🙂
@@ItsOnlyElectric Yes it is :)
Is the charter for 2 Phones so it nedsat to go in the ohter Way ?
No, it's for one phone placed horizontally
Tesla chargers are 400 volt, so it depends on how good the HV booster is in the car if its a 800 volt :)
Great results in both consumption and charging time. Very impressive car and great informative video by you guys!
Yes indeed. Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks you for watching 👍🙏
Fantastic video. The driving characteristics of the G6 is interesting. But more interesting is your choice of food! 😂😎
🤣😂
The G6 looks great, any chance of detailed look into the information tech - does it have camping or pet mode, security mode. Also are there any 3rd party blinds etc, could be too early for this. Thanks for the review 😊
Another video in the way with a bit more info regarding software etc. But it's still on beta and new se rollout on the way.
Great info. Thanks.
Living in winter country, do you think an AWD is a must or is FWD or RWD drive good enough?
Depending on your situation. If you live in a bigger city you will probably be fine without AWD. If you live in the countryside AWD.
Oslo with the odd trip outside the city in the winter
You will probably be fine with one motor
Great video, thank you - i've been researching my first electric car for a while, and I think the ID4 is the way to go.
Glad I could help. Id4 is a great choice now after the update. Especially after the update.
@@ItsOnlyElectric Cheers
Best review I've seen for the ID.4! I've just ordered the new ID.5 version! Can't wait :D
🙏 which version of the ID5 did you go for?
@@ItsOnlyElectric I’ve done for the new Match Pro (UK) & added a few extras like Pan roof etc! I’ve got a 4 month wait time for it as it will be a 2025 model 😃
@TBKR90 nice!
Thansk for a good review. one question. How was the support ofr the legs in the back seat. many electric cars have bad suport for the legs.
The id7 has a really good back seat. One of the best I have tried when it comes to leg room and thigh support
I think all the colors look really good. Especially with the choice if the dark color wheels.
Disgusting northern food .. Go to Southern Europe to try good food
Thank You very much for the video. I was on a trip to NL and back in May, and on the way back, we charged at Tesla in Bremen, close to those Outlet stores. We were HUNGRY when we arrived at the charging stop, but weren't really willing to eat more of gas stop sandwiches, so we happened to walk outside of it, and LO AND BEHOLD, "SCHNITZELHAUS" some 150meters from there. Needless to say, we stayed for some 35-40 minutes, the car was charged, we were about to explode from the really good food (roll me back into the sea), and we continued our journey. Another nice stop which happened to have chargers was Tyrstrups kro who have 300kW e-on chargers on their parking lot. It looks like a barn, or a shed, in the middle of nowhere, on the side of the motorway. I thought Google Maps was misleading me, but who would've know, real 300kW chargers. Inside, food was exquisite, and the chef greeted us and told us a bit about the history of the place. I've located the placed You visited during Your trip as the food looked really good (hope the taste was there as well), will be visiting. :) Keep up the great work, cheers
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for sharing your insight on nice places to eat along the route..🙏 We were really hungry when we stopped in Hamburg and really enjoyed that place. Drive safe!
@@ItsOnlyElectric Thank YOU for your hard work, always a pleasure to watch the content you generate. On a side note, to answer Your question whether this is a car worthy of being called a Tesla Model Y challenger - you'll probably be the one to tell us that, personally, I'd like to see a detailed overview of its software, as thats where Tesla truly excels. Cheers
@zaneverovati model y comparison coming. Teslas software is hard to beat
Great video!
Thanks 🙏

350 kw charging speed that is crazy. Americans are terrified of running out of energy in the battery with huge faked up (by the manufacturers) range anxiety. Of course the new byd dm-I hybrids can go 2000 km on a 150 km charge and a tank of gas.
Hmm.. this is a brand new car the summer range is worse than a Mach e rwd long range. Though it charges faster. Interesting to se the the real numbers of consumption in 110kmh, 120kmh, 130kmh. But 18.8 is a good consumption overall. And ofc the winter range my guess is if its better than a model y than its a slight win. And a slight win isnt worth trading in a current car for.
Its looks very good though
No, not worth changing but it's a legit alternative for new ev buyers
Good job on review.
Glad you enjoyed it
Maybe looking at your brother as you talk to much 😅😊
🤣
its only good for peoples with too much time and too much money while working midd class will only cry from this shit
EVs are still too expensive. But prices are getting better at a rapid pace
@@ItsOnlyElectric not problem only in too expensive then too bad realidtic range too long and complicated App recharge just like electricity now at rechargers costs more then fuel ,inszrance costs more too just like big value lost year over year and in 7-10 years EVs are basically worthless
This is the future. Don't fight windmills
@@JOE.DANCEN its future just like riding on horses !!some shitty future then
@Mr11ESSE111 🤣🤣 what's making you so negative regarding EVs? Have you tried one?
How was the navigation and the support for charging? Did it advise you where to charge like tesla? Can you use the navigation as a complete route planner? Thanks
Yes it did add charge stops to the route if necessary and if you confirm. But not perfect on the current software. Expect it to get better on the upcoming big update.
I had a short test drive in that car in Holland. What did you think of the symbols in the smaller screen? For me they where hard to read. Especially the speed signs. Did not know if you van make these bigger? Hope xpeng is fast with software updates. I ordered a g6 already.🎉 coming from a m3 I am gonna miss the dashcam function and sentrymode.😢
Symbols and text on the instrument cluster is way too small even if I have perfect eye vision. Didn't find a way of changing font size on the instrument cluster. But hope that the new software will solve that. Still running on s beta software.
Many things the Y lacks for alot less money. But the frunk is missing. I really don't understand why not all manufacturers can package as well as lucid/tesla by now. It's been soooo long.
Agree, I'm really missing a frunk on a lot of cars, actually most EVs..used my frunk on my model y today..
I am in the States, we have no access to cars like Xpeng. We have 100% tariffs on Chinese imports to protect our inefficient, overpaid union workers and bad auto company managers.
Don’t forget the awful dealership system………except for Tesla
Tesla has a giga factory in china..sadly no Chinese EV in U.S.. imports ? You're missing Zeekr, Nio, Xpeng,Byd and other sexy EV..
Do you know if xpeng is aware of the tesla charger problem? Does it have ota updates?
I think they are aware and maybe it's not possible to fix. Will try to get more info.
Is the actual G6 able to react (slow down and accelerate automatically) to speed limit signs? Other manufacturers call it predictive ACC.
It does react but you need to confirm the change with a press of a button before it actually adjusts the speed.
I have a 755km/CLTC version G6 in China and it cost me 235,000 RMB in November last year. The farthest I've driven in one day is 1600km from Guangzhou to Chengdu.
Did u drive mostly in Eco or normal mode for this long distance?
@jansenwilder1335 Eco
I usually use normal mode.On the Chinese highway, Xiaopeng's NGP is very easy to use for a long distance travel and it will not make people feel very tired. It is also convenient to fast charge on the Chinese highway.
Europeans should only buy EVs from USA. Don’t bother with inferior EU or Asian made vehicles.
Our teslas are made in china.. XD
🤣🤣
@@Drini666 at the end of the day, those sales dollars are coming back to Texas headquarters. I’m happy as a shareholder. Keep it up!
No thank you.
Did you guys coordinate your shirts for this video?
Maybe. 😉
Chinese version has a better battery
Is there any rims that you can get with an aero dynamic rim cap regarding the 19" ones? I will get 21" with the car, but i have decided i will change to 19" when the winter tires wear out. So i would love some extra range
There's probably a lot of aerodynamic aftermarket rims for model y
I would have preferred videos about charging etc. This looks to me as in car and restaurant chat. But I know people have different taste. Anyway it's done well but probably not for me.
You get all the stats and info at the end. 👍
Even if it is a fine car I would never buy a car from a regime that supports Putins war against Europe. Your son could be drafted next if he succeeds
Please tell me why this does not have the Shenxing battery
CALB is the main battery supplier for Xpeng.
Does it have the shenxing battery?
I think it's running with CALB packs
91kW on the 440volt SCs was entirely predictable. That is the problem with 800volt it is too far ahead of many chargers.
At the same time, that`s 20kw more then I have ever gotten on my Enyaq iv80 2021, no matter which charger I`m on :D
Thank you for fixing the video fault.
Which fault?
Be sure to choose the intelligent driving version, it's really easy to use, I'm a P7 owner, and I've used it for three years
Looks like a CCP sponsored commercial for XPENG...
🤣🤣 you are funny
What exactly was your aim with this roadtrip? Your consumption data is flawed - you didn't use the GPS distance and speed to correct for odometer errors, you didn't measure the consumption at constant GPS speed for a given GPS distance in a closed circuit (which is suposed to include a return through the same route). So, what gives? Working for sponsors? You keep comparing the car with the model Y but you forgot to mention to include a list of the mandatory maintenance and corresponding costs. And you didn't find absolutely any flaw which, of course, you found in the Model Y.
Distance measured with Google maps and consumption based on both what the cars claims and kWh charged. 🥳 So no, you are complaining without any basis. And yes, it has its flaws. Watch out for the next video. 😉
Men gränser kanske ligger just under 100kW med nuvarande inverter. Hade hoppats på högre hastighet.
People complaining about amount of time charging are soon going to have to find a new excuse as to why EV's are bad. 😂
Yes most likely 🤣
I was one of those people. Then I had to realize that we always stop for about 20mins, so the kids can go to the toilet, get food and relax a bit. Looking forward to new ID4 next month 😊
@linvilleb1910 very good insight! Hope youll enjoy your Id4.
Jag kommer nog aldrig köpa annat än Tesla. Dem är bäst nog. 💪
Bra bilar, helt klart!
With this car. you could maybe do the trip in one day! maybe 20 hours if you were pushing it. would be nice to see. but not correct that you only charged 1 hour 9min, because you also AC charged over nights. so if you did the trip with 800V charging only, you could do it with approx 4 x 20-25min charging stops with total of 1,5 hours chargetime. very impressive!
Yes, in one go it will be as you say. Less than two hours of charging. But probably time it with food anyway.
I am literally going to do this drive tomorrow. From Den Haag to Stockholm, with a Model 3. We do this every summer. Pretty fun route.
Nice, enjoy the trip and drive safe. 👍
@@ItsOnlyElectric By the way, last summer, superchargers in Denmark were significantly (like 3x) more expensive than the Netherlands and Germany. Now, it seems Germany is the most expensive one and Denmark is in line with NL. So a good strategy is to charge full before entering Germany, in Hengelo, and then go as far as you can to Denmark.
@mert5047 good info!
Your shirts are mated throughout the trip. Real brothers! 🤣
Yes, of course! 🤣
