Winter charging speeds are less so swapping is better. All the fast charging speed are for good weather. Preheat the battery still take energy from battery and reduce the mileage. So winter I think swapping is better and do not need to worry about health of battery
Considering comfort and safety, which could be better: EQE or Macan?
Just ordered it :) Hopefully delivered in August, wish me luck 😅
Nice choice! That's great 👍
@@ItsOnlyElectric thanks, got a good deal I think, 476k NOK for e-4orce 87kWh Evolve with winter tyres and 3 years service with some agreement discounts
@karlitono sounds like a nice deal!
What colur is it 🤔
High-tech silver

Made in China is still better.
too much ads unfortunatley otherwise good content
Ads? Like all other content creators. Default. Maybe consider KZread premium?
@@ItsOnlyElectric yeah, tried it before, not worth it. I usually just hover over the thumbnails but today I clicked 😆
@drAverroes the thing is that this is my only income for all the effort I put into the channel. And the best way to stay independent.
@@ItsOnlyElectric No worries bro. Watching the ads is worth your content, I will continue watching. Besides I just ordered the EL7, can't wait to get it.
@drAverroes thanks bro! Wow, EL7 now we are talking! Congratulations 👏👏
👍 nice....i think Volkswagen interiors are really nice and simple to use, takes time to get used to it, as does even a new phone, but once you have mastered this touch screen lifes super easy👌, perfect for me.
Lets try this with 4th generation battery swap station...
You missed one of the best features, the automatic recuperation setting. Pull both handles at the same time. It adjusts recup to the current traffic situation
Hi, nice review. I recently ordered an EQB 250+ AMG line premium with the 20” wheels. To come to that decision I’ve done quite some research and test drives over the course of a few months. I have also seen a lot of reviews and the conclusion I made is, that the problem with reviews often is the attempt to place all EV’s on a fictional line and compare. It doesn’t work that way for a potential buyer. There are several elements that play a role in what a buyer is looking for. That makes elements more or less important. Now I drive lease and have a considerable budget. I too was looking at acceleration and charging speed for instance. But after some consideration I had to conclude that “fast” is very subjective. 8,6 seconds for instance, is pretty quick in daily use. If you compare it to many other EVs of this process range it might be slow on paper, but in fact faster acceleration is mostly overkill. It is useless unless you always need to win at the traffic light and it also wastes a lot of range. If you compare it to ICE cars that are most sold those acceleration is quite quick indeed, especially considering it is an SUV and weighs 2 tons. Front wheel drive I agree on partly, except for the fact that a front whee drive car is easier to control when the car starts doing unexpected things, because 385 Nm of torque can do that easily. The suspension on this car, it is an AMG line, plus there are 19” wheels mounted without adapting the suspension. I can tell you, the 20” with the adjustable suspension does not give the same result in comfort mode, while in sport it is firm enough to drive a little more fiercely. Up to a certain point, because again, it is an SUV. Loading speed, a lot of Chinese brands advertise with very high loading speeds, but the curves is what is important. A peak speed does not tell me anything. In the end the largest difference in charging time on a DC charging spot is about 10 minutes. Adding to that, most people will not be fast charging that much, because the average distance people drive each day doesn’t exceed 100 km. So mostly people will charge overnight and DC charging speed will not be relevant at all. What does play a role are things like, do I want a futuristic EV or do I want a car that is a car like I’m used to, but electric. Do I want luxury or a low price. That’s not different from ICE cars in the past. Mercedes recently changed their strategy on EVs, because their clients clearly didn’t want the futuristic car design and don’t care for “fuel” costs and aerodynamics, they want an elegant and luxurious car that has an electric drive line. Which wasn’t what Mercedes was offering. Because cars are EV now, doesn’t mean what buyers want has changed suddenly. Comparing a Mercedes to a Tesla or a Hyundai is ridiculous. They don’t need to be technically equivalent, because the kind of buyer is totally different! I chose my Mercedes because of the luxury and quality, adding to that the service Mercedes dealers offer. I chose an SUV because I like the high seating position and the practicality. I wasn’t looking for a crazy design or cheap tech, nor was I looking for a race car which would win me traffic light drag races. I don’t need lightning fast charging times at the DC charging station, because I charge my car on my own property overnight. One of my sons ordered a Smart #3 Brabus, because he was indeed looking for speed and sportive drive characteristics. So I would like car reviews to be more focused on what the purpose of a specific car is and how well it answers to that purpose, instead of comparing EVs that were designed for completely different purposes and demands from buyers.
Adding to this, not completely stopping on one pedal operation is deliberately engineered by Mercedes. If brakes aren’t used they will start rusting and sticking. That will cause very dangerous failure on the day you need to perform an emergency brake. Operating the brake pedal also causes regeneration, because Mercedes uses the engine to brake as well, when the conventional brake is used. Just one of the really smart functions Mercedes offers in its cars.
Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts and congratulations to a great car. When doing reviews it's very hard to compare things like feelings and less fact focusing areas. So I try to stick to actual differences between the cars and functions/aspects I know is important for and EV. I really appreciate you taking time to share your thoughts and insights.
Don't call it EX40, it's using the old platform and interiors.
But it's renamed to EX40 by Volvo. Same car though
@@ItsOnlyElectric That's ridiculous what's next, EX60 using exactly the same car with a small battery? 🤣 At least the EX30 is a new vehicle.
@AboveInShadow haha! They are just aligning the names so the EV lineup for it to make more sense.
@@ItsOnlyElectric Same car, don't care.
Don’t mind or bother..your work and communication is good.go on with your passion
Thanks 👍
Too cramped in the back, not good for my liking!
Need a bigger car? I'm testing the scenic now. Stay tuned
Wonder how the door handles open in winter when its like minus 15 degrees?
❤❤
BRING BACK THE HYUNDAI PONY, BEST CAR EVER MADE, THE STELLAR ALSO WAS YEAR'S AHEAD OF IT'S TIME, 😂
😂
The Megane has a 65kWh total capacity and 60kWh net... it is in fact 2kWh higher than the ID.3
Yes
Hello, I've already seen many reviews of the ID.7 Tourer, but I couldn't find information anywhere from anyone about how many cm does the trunk (luggage door) will extend beyond the rear bumper when opening? It is important information for us, because the length of our garage is only 5200 mm and I think we are not the only ones who has such a garage...;-) Please are you able to measure and compare this information between the regular ID.7 and the ID.7 Tourer? How many extra cm does the trunk door take up from the normal length of the car when opening for the ID.7 and for the ID.7 Tourer?
Trying to find exact measurements but unfortunately can't find them. Can check when I test the id7 touring. I also have a 5,20 garage so I get your point.
It should be easy. When opening, you could stop the trunk door (just put your hand there, it stops automatically) at the point where it extends most over the rear bumper. than lower a vertical line (meter, string, cord) from the edge of the open door and measure on the ground by how many cm it extends the rear bumper , i.e. how many extra space do we have to add to the length of the car in order to be able to open the trunk in the garage (or another place).
Yes it's easy. Let's see when I get the touring press car
Has it got a boot ? And back seats ?

Great review thats what i was looking for thanks
Thanks!
You’ll never meet the WLTP range because the test cycle uses an average speed of 46 km/h, which is really very unrealistic for actual driving.
I'm not really into silvers or greys such a bland color. It looks good, but I prefer colors that pop and bring attention like red or blue, absolutely fantastic.
The interior looks so cheap. The seats look like something out of a rental car and the amount of plastic is horrible. Definitely not to the same level as the last generation.
Last gen may have better materials, but this is really not bad and more modern .
Saw in person first time today. Looked terrible.. boring and looks almost black.
I just have auto pilot change lanes for me. It never turns off that way. Never been an issue.
Then you have the enhanced auto pilot
Another very bad thing. We have the 2021 model and nothing has changed through the years actually it is becoming a very boring car.
More boring than other cars?
Come to Canada plz, i want to buy it one day!
Hell yaa sick!
That car doesnt match that song what soever.
🤣
This probably will be the first thing that I will buy when I get a Tesla. This and the android auto front screen
2 speaker audio system in the 21st century. What a joke!
Impressive consumption figures considering the power of this car. However, weather conditions have by far the biggest impact on consumption (beside your driving style, of course). Thanks for the review, the car suits you very well :)
Yes and in this case next to perfect weather conditions. So hard to go lower I guess. Thanks, maybe I should consider an I5 M60 as my next car 🤔
There is no Electric cars. You charge with elecriticy, but the car is going by battery
No the car is not going by battery it's powered by the electricity that's stored in a battery. the Battery can be compared to the tank in a gas car.
Thanks for comparisons to give a context
Thanks for watching
The accelaration from 60 to 100 km/h would be very interesting. Much more practical than 0-100. Every day I have to pass slow trucks or tractors. Perhaps adding to your test?😊
Good point. Will look into that.
