I got a question sir :) On a CG200 motorcycle engine will an aftermarket cam gear with decomp help relieve a kickback problem on my kick starter ? I gotta say my right leg sometimes hurt when my damn motorcycle kick starter kick's back 😵💫
Would have been better if some air was pumped into the tyre before placing the valve cap on?
Mr I wish I had your address to send you a gift. You saved me hours of troubleshooting on top of getting me out of being stranded away from home. Thank you 10 times over for sharing this. God bless! I hope you have a good day!
Once broken in how should I be engaging the clutch during normal use . Half or full throttle
Basement lmao😭
Now who the hell is going to have Stihl testing equipment. No help
Will that gasket need to be replaced?
Very cool
That’s also my favorite method for cleaning spark arrestor screens!
Ryobi sent them to home depot by accident and home depot couldn't sell them at full price,so ryobi had them sell at 500.that is what they told me anyway when I heard
Would you have any parts left over? I have one of these crappy mowers that has a sheered aluminum (what you called the bearing carrier) and from what I've seen, I don't think is will be easy to find. Please let me know if you would part with some of these "jewels" Someone wrapped up a piece of nylon cord around the blade adapter and snapped the aluminum bearing carrier in half.
Be careful if you have a tpms sensor, it will not work if you do. If your car tells you your tire pressure or if it has a warning on the dash of the tire pressure then you have a tpms sensor. These are very expensive so be VERY careful. I’m guessing it’s mostly on more modern cars from 2012 and up
How bout a small Benzo torch
I'm shocked, I have never seen a broken valve cap! I have one that is a "no start too." I am going to check that unit for a crack or something on the valve cover. I'm stumped until seeing this. Thanks.
Thanks!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Do they reduce engine power
I knew it bro! 🖐️ but not much people would know about that int! I even told my friend last 2days ago he wouldnt beleive me!!!!!!! 😅😂😊👍
This is the best Ferris belt replacement tutorial out there. Thanks for the help. I will add that after doing this belt replacement, I found it much easier to route the belt after I removed the seat frame from the pivot bolts. That’s not really easy to do but unless you have a lift it’s really hard to see through the deck to route the belt. Also, the spring clamp trick is worth using on the front right spindle pulley as well as the rear main.
Thanks for the knowledge. Greatly appreciate your time for sharing this content.
Might get you home if your belt or alt goes out too
Great job!
Getting it cherry red is the only way to clean platinum plugs
YOU RUINED CHRISTMAS
This fixed my fs240 right away.
Too much backlight and turn it around
Change the air filter oil filter change the oil with synthetic blend and watch them both come back to life ITS ALIVE ITS ALIVE
What is the make model of the new winch?
You have GOT to be kidding me! I just fought one of these most of yesterday (brand new) and could not get it to lift more than about 245 pounds. I was prepping to return or exchange it today. I just went down and tightened that screw and it lifted 330 lbs no problem! I'll try my actual tractor on it later today. THANK YOU!!!
When I have an engine that won't run, I remove the spark plug and squirt in a little gas and put the plug back. If it runs now I know a lot of things are good (spark, compression, valves) and it's probably the carburetor or bad gas. Sometimes just doing this will 'fix' the problem.
Going to try this tomorrow thanks!
Thank you for the excellent demo. My Cub Cadet CC30H has a vent on top of the fuel tank so I was told. Will cracking the gas cap open a bit allow for the venting it will need to run or can I put a vented gas cap on instead of the vent that I think is plugged on the gas tank? Thanks
Nice
thumbs up! what other common issues do you see on these engines?
Question. I have a 27hp kolher commando pro. I changed the oil pan gasket and now the mower won't keep running. A lot of blowback from the dip stick tube. Didn't notice that before and it ran great??
If you don't have heat don't worry, I was able to drill into the plastic plug and pull it out.
I just bought an 131R There are some issues already. My dealer has been working with me to get it right. It runs for 20 minutes and then starts to bog down. I don’t like the idea of a plastic camshaft! For five hundred bucks there should be a metal camshaft. All the equipment companies are using as much plastic as possible.
Wow. Thx a lot. Runs great now
Merci!
Thank you very much for the super chat. I appreciate that.
whats wrong with a wire brush
Leaves metal on the porcelain
Nice change over , Mine came with Donaldson .
We all know where Sham Sham Bigelow is shoving this up.
You don't say. Next time you are in the field, meaning miles away from your workshop, make sure you have access to a blow torch for this "repair". Having ensured that, I suspect the temperatures generated are higher than those met in the combustion chamber and will sooner totally ruin the plug. I would try to find the root-cause of the problem and address that one, like did this plug come off a 2-stroke or 4-stroke? The correct solution in the field is much simpler, safer, and effective: Use a small brass wire brush which you can carry in your pocket.
Yep surely doers look prudy..... but given the expansion differential between the porcelain insulator and the metal electrode you possibly cracked the insulator leading to an internal FOD issue or pre-ignition as the compromised electrode could now start to work as a glow plug. Just follow the manufacturers cleaning instructions, they probably have a few laps around the block.
🥴👍🙀🤪
Thanks
Ouch done that before, but to make it worse I was a little kid running real fast and boom i hit my leg. I also look out for my head too one time i got hit in the head on the coolant resivoir mounted on the firewall above my head on a 2003 International 9200I Semi Tractor while changing an air compressor for the brakes because currently I am taking a Class learning about medium and heavy duty trucks.
Metal expands when hot so it'll also expand inwards into the space , both parts should be frozen
Thanks for the info on the 2 cycle cat. always wondered what was inside of them.
Never run an engine with a finger tight plug. If you forget to tighten it, the plug will run hot and risk detonation. Also the thread will ginge up making the next plug change difficult. Caustic based Oven cleaner works well on plugs and it's a lot easier than fire. Leave it to work, rinse off with boiling water, and spray again. Leaves them cleaner than new.
