Mowermedic you putting the teflon tape in the correct direction but you need to flip your roll of teflon tape over so it stays tight instead of putting your BIG THUMB on the tape to keep it tight comming off of the roll. 😆 Just my 2 cents worth. Opinions may vary 😊

The video wasn’t about how to apply the tape to the pipe. It was about the direction.

They say not to use it on sensors that screw in, But I used it on an oil temp sensor in a Chevy pickup truck that was forever leaking Oil. I just didn't cover the first few threads at the tip of it and it worked just fine. And stop the leak.😊😊

Yes Steve that is correct especially on hydraulic fittings so the teflon doesn't break off and clog your system up😊

In my basic instinct, I always do like that! Wrapping up teflon in a wrong direction, surely it’ll be ripped off 😮
