The wife and I had been trying to conceive for many years, then we ordered some cable ties from Amazon. Within a week she was pregnant! She's now very happy and living with the delivery driver, thanks cable ties!

Oh my goodness! I just had to stop the video and tell you how much I LOVE your idea about using the left-over snippets of the cable ties to make a screw fit into a hole that's too big for it. What a great idea. Please show more ideas for using these little left-over pieces. Thank you so much for your wonderful video. Yes, I'm now a new subscriber! PEACE

Hello! I am very happy to read your comment. Have a good day!
You should have mentioned the most impressive cable ties available: the re-usable ties for applications that require release and re-attachment of things, and the awesome Stainless Steel ties, which can also be re-used by sliding the tip back through the ratchet to release the locking ball.

The best way I've found for trimming the end off cable ties is to use a fingernail or toe-nail clipper. That will trim the end flush with the clutch leaving it smooth feeling. I keep one right in with my container of cable ties.

I learned that years ago as a bicycle mechanic. You can get a pretty nasty scratch on your inner leg from the end of the zip tie anchoring a cable/hydraulic line to your top tube. Toenail cutters clip it off just as smooth, and faster than razor blade without risk of scratching the bike.
I like the way he takes an extra moment to enjoy his new zipper pull

me too ... one thing that drives me crazy is where is all this plastic stuff going, and the hard foam from packaging, and the kitty litter and maxi pads ... how can the earth deal with all this stuff. I asked the attendant in Florida when I delivered two bags of shattered glass from my patio table. how can this de-materialize. He told me it gets burned underground??? Huh??? Its frightening.
That trick where you use cable ties to tie cables was really great.

Rubber bands work great to hold WD-40 nozzles. If a zipper pull breaks, use a piece of nylon cord or ribbon instead. Loop it, tie it and heat the knot so it won’t loosen. When you use a zip tie it looks crude. Cord or ribbon looks like original material. Dental floss wrapped around a screw will work as well or better than a piece of zip tie. The example in the video had a huge hole, which is unlikely. And making your own zip ties? Life is way too short and zip ties are way too cheap to bother with making your own.

Problem #7 is better solved with a suitablely sized plain key ring, works very well. I liked the way our man trimmed off the excess every time. Walking around London and other UK cities last year, I noticed that scaffolding around many buildings under renovation on busy streets were festooned with protective padding, held in place with cable ties. Virtually none of the ties were trimmed off, leaving long plastic tails sticking out horizontally, ready to catch the unprotected eyes of passersby, of any height.

Some great ideas ~~ Thanks ! 👍 * Similar to #1 (the cutting of the bag) I also cut a few ties into 2" or 3" pieces which will then each hold about a dozen ties convenient in the shed, tool box, tackle box, car, etc., etc. * Now I'm feeling old too; for the loose keys and repairing a zipper head, I've been using paper clips since the 70's.

I recently had an issue with the handbrake on my car not releasing fully. It was caused by corrosion and other gunk on the cable and needed some form of abrasion that would get into such a confined space and also conform itself to the tiny radius of the brake cable; plus it had to be abrasive but not damage the steel of the cable. Well, you guessed it, a small cable tie did the job perfectly! 🍾❤️
