I'll never forget it. Wow! What a morning that was. I didn't feel like working after I'd gotten the news.

Was at my TV shop. Turned on the TV to get some audio while working on a stereo. The first plane hit. Closed the shop down and went home to be with my family. I will never forget.

I was the network administrator at Sound Choice Karaoke and we had two buildings side-by-side in Charlotte NC. I got a call from the folks in the other building asking if I had a piece of wire that they would attach to the rabbit ear antenna on their little TV to get better reception because a small plane had just crashed into one of the twin towers. I grabbed a 20 foot length of CAT 5 cable and started striping the ends as I walked over to their building. We got my wire strung up and wrapped around the rabbit ear antennas and finally got a decent picture just about the time that the second plane hit. I'll never forget....

I remember that it was the most beautiful weather I could remember. So sad, we all will never forget. For a brief while we were all united in sadness.

I was at work and my boss came from the breakroom and told us to come with her and see what was happening on the television.

I remember where I was. I was working in Colorado at the time. I was worried because I had family in NYC at the time. I was 31. I won’t forget. I think it is just like the generation that survived Pearl Harbor.

I was working in a medical supply warehouse when that all went down and within hours we had state police at our warehouse waiting for six trucks to get loaded and sent down to NY by escort it was the most fast passed loads we have ever had to do and it was a somber one because they stopped the whole warehouse to inform all of us and man when I tell people were crying and some even became sick from their nerves because we had no idea what was going to happen next. God bless us all. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I was working for Urban Moving Systems and we had a really busy Tuesday if I recall correctly, but I did manage to get some dancing in.

Your comment is rather odd. Are you usually an odd weirdo, or is this an aberration?

I was at work and some guy came in and said a plane hit one of the towers. I thought that was too bad but I was thinking it was a little plane like hit the Empire State Building a long time ago so I just kept on working. A few minutes later I started thinking about this guy that was on Christian television every night talking about how his intel sources were telling him that Osama Bin Laden had something big planned and he thought it would be an attack on the trade center because Osama was upset about failing to take them down a few years earlier. The guy on tv was lamenting every night about how no one was doing anything to stop it. After I remembered that I went to the break room and turned on the tv. It was worse than I could have imagined, I went home to be with my family.
