20 Years Later: A Remembrance of our 9/11 Heroes - Watch now on Coffee or Die Magazine
Ойын-сауық
It was a beautiful Tuesday morning. Blue skies, no humidity. The kind of morning pilots call “severe clear.” Then in an instant, everything changed. On this 20th anniversary of the fateful day that forever changed the trajectory of the United States and the world, our promise to “never forget” is fulfilled in the stories of those who ran toward the chaos, those who ascended the towers so that others may live, those who dug through the rubble desperately looking for survivors, and those who answered the call and committed to a life of service and sacrifice to this great nation and all that is best in the American spirit.
These are their stories.

Over 20 years later still no acceptable explanation on how or why building seven collapsed or why it was being evacuated before the planes hit. Over 20 years later we still don’t know where the $2 trillion went that the Pentagon announced it lost the day before the planes hit the only building where a paper trail leading to that money could be found. And over 20 years later we still only have ONE grainy video of the “plane” that hit the Pentagon that looks more like a missile than a 747 . Tell me your an inside job without telling me your an inside job

21 years later sad this country has fallen apart and barely seen any flags on sept 11th!
The brothers that ran into the towers knowing what was to come, are the quintessence of what it means to be in the fire service.
I remember 9/11. I lived in California & was sleeping until my mother in England called & woke us all up to the horror of what was happening in NY! Such a dark day!
Bravest group of people. Knowing and going anyway. I still cry. How can people forget so soon.

I was in 9th grade social studies when this happened. I walked in the class room and the tv was on. The teacher literally told us to sit down and be quite. This is happening now and we need to be aware of the reality of what’s going on. I’ll never forget this day and appreciate all the brave souls that risked their life as I got older and finally understood what my teacher meant.

We all need to know what really happened. How 6 weeks before 911 the new owner paid 3billion and put terrorist insurance on the property. The insurance payout was 7billion and 3000 innocent souls. The freedom tower costed 3.9billion. Talk about an investment starting off suspect and ended up fantastic for Larry Silverstien the Zionist!
Bravery and selflessness was defined that day.

@@natecote1971 they didn’t do it to be hero’s. And if you can’t understand the why’s and the reasons then you shouldn’t even be asking the question. People were trapped. People were hurt. They needed help. And these men were there to help. Not stop and stare and point their fucking fingers and video cameras from a safe distance. They got so many people out. So man people are alive today because of these men. And they didn’t stop until they could go no further. It’s not “being a hero” it’s being a fucking man. It’s understanding that you have the power to help people and save people and you do it. Jesus man, I’m guessing you’re fucking twelve and if you’re not you seriously need to adjust your life because if you think these dudes “killer themselves to be hero’s” you’re a complete idiot.

My son was in first grade that day. That Monday night I was so tired from work and a really stressful and exhausting prior week and weekend.. I fell asleep on the couch watching TV and never set my alarm. I woke up late to my phone ringing - it was my friend who was going to loan me his car to run errands that day as my car had been totaled a few weeks before from someone running into me. He said thought I would call because aren't you late? As I was answering the phone the plane was hitting the 2nd tower. My thought was it was a preview for a movie coming out and thought well that's kind of a fμ©ked up movie. Did not realize what was going on. Told my friend in the phone yeah I over slept but for to come over and I was gonna hurry to get my son ready for school and whatnot. Got off the phone and sat there for a minute to wake up and process things. Started hearing what the TV was actually saying. Was like WTF happened while I was sleeping.. Called my friend back and asked him if he had his TV on.. He said no I was just walking out the door on my way over to your place. I told him ya come on over but my son isn't going to school and IDK what is going on but we are under attack or something.. He came over and we sat there glued to the TV pretty much all day. My son was only 6 but he remembers that day as well. It was crazy for sure.
Just remember who ACTUALLY made this happen .
My God... someone help me take the lump out of my throat 😫 and get me a towel someone threw water on my face. I remember that day! My brother is NYFD and could not reach him til 3pm that day. I thought I lost him when those building went down. Those men are brave !

I was 11 days shy of my 16 birthday. I'll never forget! Was home from school bc I was sick and I'll never forget watching that live on TV. That was scary and broke my heart. Of course when mom freaked out crying and rushed to get my siblings from school is when I knew something was seriously wrong.
We the family of Firefighters lost 343 brothers that morning. I had a brother from Engine-55 on Broom st in Manhattan that I thought was gone that day. He was off duty as a firefighter that day and not even in New York. But he came home went back to active duty in the Army and help train the new soldiers to bring those responsible to justice. To my brother that did not get back to quarters, May Saint Florian protect you. We have the next box rest easy.

Many of your brother's perished and many more survivors witnessed explosions as the deep state demolished the buildings (including building 7 hit by no planes) so my question is ....do they still believe it was a few Muslim hijackers ? This was the same cabal murdering us as we speak and their objective then was "the patriot act" to remove our ability to fight back in any credible way. Am now waiting for an FBI/CIA knock on the door.all the proof is In the public domain anyway.

I’ll never forget how building 7 fell after suffering superficial damage from the towers falling . I’ll never forget how 7 was evacuated before the towers hit . My father was a cop and he was in the middle of a vacation when it happened. I remember my mom screaming at him to get the hell away from the phone because he kept calling to see where he was needed. They told him they weren't using his unit just in case so that they would still have some cops left. They're a different breed of people and deserve every ounce of respect we can give them

That’s the definition of a hero. God bless Terry and his whole family
I was at work in the UK when news came in of what was happening. We couldn't believe it. I rang my partner & told him to put the TV on. For some reason he thought I was joking until he put the TV on & then there was just silence between us. The whole day at work was quiet....no phones ringing, no emails, no talking .....just gasps of shock & horror. I went home & sat watching with tears silently rolling down my face at what I was witnessing. My friend lived in Manhattan at the time & worked at a hospital. I couldn't contact her because all systems were down. I was so relieved when she eventually contacted me. My heart went out to everyone there. The brave men & women that served that day. Not just the fire fighters but the police, ambulance service, paramedics, hospital staff & many many more that witnessed things first hand that no-one should ever have to witness. True hero's every one of them. Ordinary every day people doing extraordinary things to protect & serve us all no matter what. They & their families deserve every ounce of respect. May they all R.I.P

I was in Nevada State Prison 6:00 in the morning the co woke me and said turn the TV on and we watch together much love and respect to all the firefighters
The word "hero" is often used lightly. Terry and all those other first responders are the definition of that word. Twenty one years later they still are and always will be HEROES. 🇺🇸
Heartbreaking ❤️. So much pain and suffering from that day. It makes me furious.
Saddest day in history in my life. That was the day true heroes became most apparent. Every single person involved in that building were heroes. Everyone even the workers. The living and the dead all heroes.
Tears 😢 in my eyes knowing your brother probably knew this would be the last day he'd be alive,at least you both could say goodbye together before it happened. All firefighters and police are heroes .!!!!
Damn! That's what hero's look and act like. Unselfish, brave and honorable. God bless everyone.
This story gives me chills. I will always remember that day!
May they rest in peace, light and love.
We will Never forget that day. God bless our righteous beloved nation
I was 15 years old when this happened. I'm from Poland but I remember everything from that day and how everyone was in shock. Brave people who saved others and don't care about own life. Unbelievable for people now. God bless all heroes from that day and everyone who suffer after that terrible day. 😚🤗☺️💜🇵🇱
What an amazing memoirs. Chilling!
Now that's what u call POWERFUL
These are the types of men that hero’s tales are written about.
They will never be able to build a monument big enough to show the appreciation and gratitude all you men and women deserve for the sacrifices you all made that day. These are what real life superheroes look like. 🇺🇸💯
The people who were supposed to make sure this didn't happen failed and should be held accountable
No greater love has one man than to give his life for another!!
True heroes that should never be forgotten
"Never forget" is a great sentiment, but far too many have already forgotten, and we die as time marches on.
