  I'm not very knowledgeable on TV from 2004, but I'd swear that the people in the ITV1 ident are the cast of Coronation Street and not Emmerdale as per description. Tina O'Brien is definitely from Corrie, the bloke in the middle looks like Ryan Thomas, the bloke on the right looks like Adam Rickitt, and the other girl looks nothing like Roxanne Pallett. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being snarky. But for me, there's no way that those people are from Emmerdale. That's the Coronation Street cast, I'm as certain as a non soap viewer can be.

  I had a similar experience, having an absent father and no male role models. Looking back, I think the men just didn’t know what to do with me. Only one guy really tried to confront me about my BS. A d0uchey black guy named Tony who was dating my mom, who called me “jive turkey” and tried to get me to lift weights. Kinda similar. But me and Henry are very different people. He does his whole Honest American thing, and I became British.
