Absolutely loved vidz.. It was the late 90s early 2000s late night 4later the shit.
Whenever I watch the latest Lars Von Trier film, at the back of my mind, I'm imagining it's a clip from Vids.
Late night Channel 4 was the fuckin bomb back in the day. Nige's creative profanity in Vids was a thing of beauty. Bits was a less cool show, but the girl with hair in buns (think it was Emily) was crazy fine. Exploitica was another offbeat gem, or Adam Buxton in Takeover TV, back before even Adam n Joe. If you were still awake when 'El Nombre' started though, it was probably time for bed.
I was just thinking about this stuff the other day. Standard stuff when I was 16.

used to fucking love vids, up half the night smocking weed and drinking cheap lager, those where the days alright! i dont even think there are any student focused programs now is there? anyone know that show at the beggining, the 3 birds? i used to beat the shit out of myself over the american one

BITS....
Bits was shit from day 1, they tried to get the "hot girls will make them watch" thing, but fucked it up. Only 1 of them was hot. Vids on the other hand, best thing C4 has ever produced.
