    I remember these adverts as a 9 year old child! Amazing! They seemed so modern then. Now they look ancient.

    Love the Rover 200 - a Rover that was actually pretty damn modern and well, pretty. They drove well too.

    Later on in 1999, the two Vauxhall adverts seen in this clip were re-edited slightly to incorporate a new ending sequence that came as part of their ill-fated "Raising the Standard" advertising campaign.

    This would probably be illegal now. It'd be considered a hate crime to show this many white people in an advert break.
