P.S. with all the holiday props you make it would be cool to see you make a lighted sign that says “Welcome to Winter Wonderland “ all the fancy ‘W’s with that little calligraphy curl, with white background and red lettering ( the old style winter wonderland signs) but lit up like your candy canes. Just a thought because I can’t find nothing like that in stores. Since you make everything big you might as well do it billboard size ! ❤️ 😂

I don’t understand cutting the end of the LED how do you connect the plug 🔌 at the end once the LED strips are cut to length?
@IsaacAlexanderDIYКүн бұрын
You cut the other end… There’s 2 ends, just cut the one that isn’t attached to any plug

Years ago my son signed me up to do the stage decorations for his drama class play: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. I did all my lollipops out of baking clay… it was tedious and some would break or crack and I would have to redo them. I hand painted all of them. I also did giant size candy bars and of course the Willy Wonka chocolate bar with the golden ticket. I didn’t have YT back then and this tutorial would have been helpful. Everything I had to figure out and create on my own but I had fun and my kids absolutely loved it. They always signed me up for things and told me after and they believed I could do anything 😂which inspired me to try and they taught me to use my creativity abilities and expand on those to think outside the box. However it’s channels like yours that make me sleep at night so my brain isn’t racking over how to do certain projects. Thank you!

This turned out great; however my experience with faux fur it wouldn’t hold up in my PNW weather conditions. I have made giant size scarecrows that I use milk jugs and the big coffee creamer bottles. I usually have to replace the clothes every couple years as they fade and the straw. I only use straw for the feet, hands, hair and a little bit poking out of the chest. I’ve been wanting to do the wizard of Oz tin man. Have a huge metal funnel I got from my uncle, some big cans saved up….your structure is a great base for what ever you can dream up. My grandsons like Jack, Sally, Zero…all the characters. So that project would come before my Tin Man. I wish there was a way to weather proof faux fur as that would be pretty cool. My dad waterproofs his hunting clothes/sheets by taking a large trash bag, cheep silicone caulk, mineral spirits and water.. mixes it in the bag and adds his clothes or sheets until fully saturated then hangs them on the clothesline to dry. But this would destroy the fluffiness of faux fur.

Hi Isaac! This video has been so helpful in deciding which monster mud recipe to use. I'm currently sculpting some outdoor creatures out of spray foam and covering them in strips of monster mud to strengthen the exterior. I was wondering if you had any issues with cracks forming in the cloth after things fully dried/cured? I'm not necessarily worried about the weather, but rather more concerned with the overall look since it will be for a big event. Thanks!

Several of the multicolored LEDs you use are 30W. Looking by at other options from your link, these can go up to 80W. Would these be too bright or too much power being used and would you recommend the 30W you use instead? Also, any ideas for a replacement backdrop as I don’t have the amazing large trees you have?
