You are the best! Your videos are both informative and entertaining. I would never have thought that you could get skeletons from Cracker Barrel.

Give them Swords and they will look like a scene from a Ray Harryhausen film. As for the UV problem - this is easily surmountable by a coat of UV paint, with colours that one might choose, and illuminate with a UV source, simple.

I've got two of the green/glow plastic ones, and they glow intensely when exposed to UV/black light. That's how I usually display them. 🙂

@@HeatHere333 there is a type of purple lightbulb, commonly called a “black light“. It emits UV or ultraviolet light that causes some colors to glow intensely. I don’t think Isaac used one of those here, but I could be wrong.

Lowe's has a beautiful 8ft skeleton that I'm going to turn into a xenomorph for next year.

Even better than part one. Thanks for all of the effort!!! Saves a LOT of running around. That Ultra poseable - incredible, and an incredible price!!! How is it not at LEAST double the price??? Fantastic value, and probably long sold out. Home Depot IS the leader in skeletons.

Awesome tutorial, I wasn't expecting a part 2. Picked up some skeletons from Home Depot the other day. I'm going to shop around some more. My plans is to figure a way out to have skeletons crawling up the side of my house, garage & storage building/workshop..(3 seperate buildings). Home Depot still has the best-looking skeletons to me.

Another fantastic review with detailed, practical info from someone who understands Halloween decorations. The last one looked positively evil-I love it. The Rotten Patch one looked like a cross between The Joker and a creepy clown. I have to agree, not a fan.

I can remember when these types of skeletons first came on the market and they cost about what these do (like $50-$60). As years went by more manufacturers jumped in the game and copied the first ones and drove down the prices. You could pick up a generic one from Home Depot for $20 at one point. Now, with inflation since 2021, the prices are right back up where they started despite having tons of competition.

Great overview. Thanks! It would be helpful to know which of these are made by PAC (Pan Asia Creations) because they simply won't last more than a couple of seasons out in the sun. They become very brittle and break very easily. Look for the PAC logo molded into the front side of the right shoulder blade to ID them.

I ended up returning the ultra-posable spirit halloween skeles I'd mentioned in the last video and got the 6 pack of pitted skeles from HD and couldn't be happier. What I lost in articulation I gained in total number of skeles and they look great!

I got the same pitted HD six-pack before they sold out, and they're great! I'm planning to combine them with my Grim skeleton (from Spirit Halloween) to make a skeleton-army. Although the heads don't swivel, it looks like an easy mod to allow that. One of the HD reviewers stated he had updated all of his. 🙂

Interesting and spooky cool vid. There are skeletons at Party City and they are activated with blacklight. So I’m debating about getting that or maybe the Home Depot Ultra Posable Skeleton. I do have the skeleton from At Home from last year and it’s hand’s had screws on them on I lost one of the screws but I still have both of the hands and I’ve been thinking about selling it; even though I have had it for probably around a year.

I was waiting for a 👑 crown to be on the ultra poseable.

I wish the HomeDepot ultra poseable one was available in Canada. We only get the other ones shown in the previous video, which is fine, but damn, I really want the new one. 😔 Their giant 12ft ones went up in price again too and are now $450 here. I appreciate these thorough demonstrations! :)

Update: there was 1 ultra left after I bought mine Thursday. Hoping against hope I went back today to see if the other was still there. Not only was it still there, but they were unboxing more! So don't give up on finding them still in the stores!

Can you set one for me?

Return all of them them except the HD 6 pack and HD poseable one. Maybe keep the Target one and use the cheap Walmart one to cut in half and make a crawling creature.

I have a question, I got a 5 1/2 foot black skeleton at Marshall’s and it was motion activated with led lights and makes noise. But when I put new batteries in and took the try me out it stopped working. What should I do?

There should be a button on the back of the head or torso, where you have to click it on in order for the skeleton to activate. The try me button is only for the display.

@@endureexistence yes but they are on two different electrical lines. The “try me switch” is separate from the actual switch to turn it on. So it’s most likely that a try me switch is fine, but the actual button that activates the entire skeleton is faulty

Seriously, who designed the Frankenstein's monster skeleton? 🙄 Frankenstein's monster is supposed to be comprised of human cadaver parts - where the frack did the talons and stifle joints come from!? One can question why they didn't just make it a werewolf skeleton instead, that would make way more sense. Also, has anyone noticed that most of the cheap skeletons have hands that are attached in an non-anatomically correct fashion? They are attached with the thumb facing away from the body, the cup of the hand facing up. Which is not how human hands are posed when relaxed.

Yeah, I didn’t understand that as well with the Frankenstein monster, it’s almost as if they didn’t really understand what Frankenstein would look without the flash. it was odd to have the talons, but still a unique build. I really don’t like when the cheap skeletons have the hands facing like you said, I really don’t like that look.
