This channel is all about random things and projects I get involved in. Also have some goofy family / dog stuff. Anything I have to do and can't find a video to help me get it done I try shoot a video as I go to help others out. Usually I have to video everything myself so quality is not always the greatest.

I woke up this morning to a dead wind speed on my Davis Vantage Pro 2. I'll be changing it out later this week. Thanks for the tutorial.
I got a panel van, this seems like a really good idea.. will do this instead of buying molle plates..
Let me see if I understood what you are saying. Most propane generators don't have a propane shut off valve that will shut the gas off, if the generator fails to stay running, and because you bypassed installing a regulator this will amplify that problem, if true I will need to get a 110 volt shut off valve, that's held open with voltage.
If you have nothing in line to stop the gas flow if the generator stops you absolutely need something, unless you like to be on the local news ruining a bunch of people's days.
@@Channel-About-Nothing How does a generator work that comes ready to use propane, should the spark plug fail, how is the gas turned off. From the information I have found says the regulator doesn't stop the flow of gas should the generator fail.
@@rx7engines I don't think that is correct or they are asking for a lawsuit. The gas is usually controlled by the vacuum of the engine. If there is no vacuum the gas is cut off.
@@Channel-About-Nothing found a video that helped me understand, its called "Regulator Garretson KN Beam Impco how valve works for"
Brilliant. I'm kinda feeling it for my 89 Suburban. Saves me money so I can really go the distance with it. Plus I feel like it compliments the old school rig. Dig it! Cheers!
Perfect! I would have never thought of this, and basically have an endless free supply at the job site I’m on!
Boy, am I glad I found this!!!! I just bought this model today at a thrift store. The lamp worked (yay!), the reverse worked (yay!), but no forward. I opened the back, and that very first flat belt you replaced dropped out, broken. I replaced it, and now I know exactly where it goes and how to put it there! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you for your review. I thought I was going crazy trying to get this damn thing to work. So when I found your review, and you said this was a toy, I thought, yes, you’re right. It’s just a stupid that I wasted my money on. So thank you very much.
I didn't have your handy pick to attached main motor belt so I used the existing spring. FYI
Yeah, so you could hook directly up to the hot wiring coming to the key. Turns off when you turn the cart off, and you could have used the wires sent with the charging port.
Thank you!!!
Next time do not use locktide the screws were the water it's going to be around.. nice job
Does adding it remove depth finder?
my old battery meter is not working great anymore. Think taking it out and putting this in with the same wiring will work? multimeter says its 48V.
It should work just fine
Q. I have this time (ESP Modular) master valve installed right after the 5HP pump in my back yard, and would like to know what's the right connection for the wirings? Currently, two wires coming from the master valve, one installed in C and the other wire installed under station 1 ! I am not sure if this is right or not. Why I am I asking? well, because when i test all valve, station one works only and the other stations (from 1-7) doesn't work! This device was set for something else, and I am now trying to use it for some other irrigation layout in my backyard. TIA all for the help if anyone can help in this matter. Mohamed Dubai
invitee check your email to accept.
The drone just has non flashing red light on the back and wont work at all
Dumb question but do you do this on both sides of you have two jets?
I noticed the seat belt about halfway through the video and thought, "Genius!"
That was the seatbelt off the jazzy I got the gel cell battery out of. I love to repurpose.
Can anybody tell me how i can put my home and my business on my lorex app ? Would really appreciate it thanks need help
Can you have a plumber run a gas line to a more convenient location? Or must these be hooked up to the gas meter.
That is the socket I was looking for. Thank you.
is that split loom protecting your cables? what size? 1/2" 1/4" ?
3/4" here is the link to it www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N483W7K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
it was 3/4" which I don't see anymore from where i bought it.
Beauty. Pure genius
I found the same thing, removing the bolster was the final step needed. The plate underneath the deck is aluminum, with the two dissimilar metals, they will start to corrode over time. Water will speed this up, and salt water will do so even faster. I don't know if aluminum screws can be found to replace the stainless steel, or if they would be sturdy enough for this application, but if so, that would be the best solution To figure out the bolt hole pattern, first get the old seat post removed, and measure the distance between two opposing bolt holes. I think mine was 8" apart, which means I'd be looking for an 8" 6-bolt seat post base (count the number of bolts, 5, 6, whatever it takes). There are other seat post solutions for this as well, if this particular model can't be found. SPRINGFIELD Marine 1250250-L1 Mainstay is the one I went with at the time, and just replaced everything. SEARCH AROUND, the price on these seat posts will vary WILDLY. I know the prices for mine ranged from $180-400+, so search around, and look for deals.
I can't find this model anymore. I only find the 1200587. That one has a different circuit board. There are no pins to bend.
Good vid. Thanks for the info.
Shit... wish I found this viddeo before I bought this worthless thing for $80
I’d love if they had a separate led bank of lights so could see from the dash how charged the batteries where.
MOve bottom hinge in
What is a difference between Canon P-8 and S-2?
Freaking brilliant
How many layers of carpet are there in that 17" target? I'm trying to estimate how much carpet I need. Thank you.
It really varies depending on the carpet. I have no idea how many layers this one was but it was a low nap carpet.
What is the life expectancy of the scom?
It will outlast the ski.
what is the length of the jack when it is in the up position, bottom of wheel to the top of the jack im curious as I have a tight fit on my trailer? THanks good video and review!
the only thing I do not like is the bracket , could you fit a U shape bracket instead?
@1:31 the clip makes an appearance lol
How long will a fully charged battery run your electronics?
Thanks a lot for ur help l did it
I picked it the serpentine belt tool kit at Harbor Freight for around $20 last week. Nice leverage using it. Just remember that it is a slow pull towards the front of the car. An easy pull indicates that the hydraulic part of the tensioner assembly is bad and should be replaced.
Oops eight years late. Excellent information, thank you for sharing this. Suggestion, on your next videos mount the camera. A bouncy camera makes watching a video extremely difficult. With it jumping around where do we look? Also mounted it would have been in focus and you could have used two hands as needed.
Van, by chance do you know how to access and replace the belts on an Onkyo DX-206 6-disc player? The carousel tray on mine will not open or close. When I press the open button, I can hear the motor working, but I believe the belt has broken from old age. I have removed the cover. I have searched the web and KZread but have not found any specific and detailed information as to how to do it.
I'm going to change / check the anode in my waverunner USING your exact instructions. I bought the 12mm universal (home depot calls it 3/8 drive 12mm universal) that's the one I got. wish me luck. I may put a safety net so it doesn't fall into the bilge. Any tips on putting it back in would be great. thanks again. great video.
Grease the rubber gasket so you can easily turn it to line the bolt up. Be prepared to cut up your hands, hurt your back leaning over, and swear a lot.
I did it. took about 2hours. (it's like a pro level version of the game OPERATION) Unfortunately I didn't see the "grease the gasket" until just now. But gentle taps lined up the bolt hole once it was in the engine block hole. I was worried about cross threading but it went in fairly smoothly and I backed it out once to check the threads. The grease would have also helped in the anode going back in the hole. Things to add to your follow up video: 1. those pliers you show in your video are a MUST have ( I bought some) and get a LONG flat head screw driver (6" plus handle). 2. remove and replace the anode via the oil filter side. 3. Once you place the anode back, close to the hole resting where you can touch it with your fingers, use a LONG screw driver or rod, put it in the anode assembly bolt hole and use that to guide it back to the engine block hole. Use a mirror and brite light, go slow. patience is paramount.,4. DO NOT put the bolt in place until the anode assembly is secure or it will fall into the bilge. This job is doable but not for guys that don't have common sense@@Channel-About-Nothing
Be awesome to find a replacement bearings as well. Great video.
If you contact Garmin they will fix it very great people. Since Garmin owns Navionics I would say likely it’s an issue with your settings maybe.
👍
I’ve checked anodes on several outboard motors. 1. The fact that your anode is deteriorated is a good thing; it means it did its job. 2.the zinc you have softened on certain spots and broke off and went for a ride into the cooling system (think kidney stones) but most likely will NOT be an issue. 3. You did a great video. 4. So, in the end. Would you suggest taking off the intakes or using a “doll hand” approach to taking out the anode ? Thanks
Removing the intake will be my last resort, but I am a glutton for punishment.
I like your honesty. I think that would be my choice as well because you could open up a can of worms when you remove that manifold lose something break, something etc. the less moving parts the better. Where do I buy just the zinc for a 2018 VX limited?
@stevesantagati2264 I could not find just the zink, and I can't remember where I got the replacement from.
Thanks for sharing this. I really appreciate it as my serpentine belt that I just replaced her go. I didn’t change my oil on time and I think oil started making the belt slip destroying the belt so now I think the idler pulley spins very fast so I’m going to replace that. If that Idler pulley spins really fast does that mean it’s bad ? I think it’s supposed to have a little tension and not roll like a rollerskate.
I don't think people realise just how much better it works bending the two pins vs just the one. I get a HELL of a lot more response's with the two pins bent!! I think people are just getting mixed up between static and white noise. Bending the one pin gets rid of the mute so you can hear between stations as its scanning, but bending the other as well doesn't make the white noise in between stations louder but has an interesting effect on how static like the radio is when picked up as its attempting to run the radio in stereo on a mono speaker . I've actually tried both as an experiment and can honestly say the entities/spirits can actually manipulate the radio easier when the two pins are bent, maybe this is because the audio is just slightly distorted enough making manipulation of audio easier.
genius idea
