Your the only one who can truly make me fall asleep on the day before my birthday
Teacher: how tf you know everything but the subject Literally me:
I’ve always hated math all the way from 4th grade to now (sophomore high school) and I have bad insomnia so I used to do basic 4th-8th grade math problems and it put me to sleep fast because of how depressing and boring it was 😂
Thanks for helping in my gcses in a weird way
Actually got my final mat exam in today's morning (it's 00:33), watching this so I can sleep good.
So that’s why 10 divided by 3 is 3.333…
my revision before my further maths gcse tomorrow ❤
i don't particularly like math but here i am lol
Hey there! Love your videos Dido, I’m just curious have you ever done one talking about your maths journey? IIRC you want to teach it academically
Petition for a calc III questions video
Yes please. It would be awesome if he did a video with partial derivatives, saddle points, line and surface integrals and much more!
83 -56: i do it like that: 83-50=33 and then -6
12410, always love the math videos ❤
This comment for our Asians.😊
thank u dido and luckily for me i got a math test tommorow and so yhe
Alas, though I harbored a sincere fondness for the noble pursuit of mathematics, ne'er was I adept at its intricate and perplexing conundrums.
this video really exposing my quick mental math
12,460! I love math… so soothing!
All math nerds gather here 👇
Damn, Dido looking good in this vid!
8:46
I just don't get the integrating sin and cos
11460 I'm pretty sure
0:07 almost did the intro there didn’t you
You are the only person that will get me to watch anything maths related 😅💞
So on time thooooooo, I'm about to go to sleep 😊
Got a maths test on friday lol, wish me luck
Good luck mate.😅
Its currently 3am for me and you delivered this masterpiece thank you ❤
i think a super fun video game to play on this channel would be balatro! it has some relaxing card sounds if you turn the music off and it can be very math heavy when playing cards in ways that score the most points !
Ooh, yes! Especially with that one deck that avarages out your chips/mult 😄 I'm still trying to figure out how to use that one properly lmao
Every person who reads this comment must like the video
Why tho?
even though i hate math you let me hear it 🎉
Is it 3
🥺💗
Asmr ➕ maths equals AMAZING videos
Is it just me that sees the x as sc?
You don’t even need z. Since both the yellow and blue triangles have a height of x and the yellow triangles area is 1/2 that of the blue one. We can just put the base of the yellow triangle as y/2 and then instead of x-z we put x-y/2 and then it’s all in terms of x and y instead of another term z
True
That's very true! Love this alternative too. Depends what approach to take and how much you like fractions, I guess :)
5cm 2
Is it?
Ooh, close but not quite!
Really creative idea
Thank you! 😊
you could have also looked at yellow triangle, 1/2ab=2 so ab=4 so the sides are either 2 and 2 or 1 and 4 but it cant be 2 and 2 as they arent equal so its 1 and 4, 4 squared is 16 and then take away the other areas
What about fractional values like 3 and 1.333?
@@naoxi1 i dont know or care really because they arent in this specific question
What Naoxi said is true, there are other values a and b could take in your explanation. But, given the simplicity of the numbers provided elsewhere it is a reasonable assumption to make of 1 and 4!
My way: Uhhh 4 seems to fit well 4² - all the areas = 7
How did u write the small 2?
Proof by inspection 🤓
²
Hold 2 on ur keyboard
i got it in like 10 seconds but i probably made some assumptions
Yeah I looked at yellow realized it could fit twice, with common knowledge. And I’m only a 5th grader (going into 6th)
Awesome!
My math teacher would say "well how do you know that its a square 🤓☝"
Well you see teach I actually used the "ligma equation"
Every triangle has a right angle so it has to be a square
@@emilstockmann5543how do you know 100% that those are right angles?
@@emilstockmann5543 eehm no?! Tf 😂
@@emilstockmann5543 First of all, that wasnt given. second of all, it could have been a rectangle.
Pretty cool puzzle
Easyyyy
