✨ ABOUT ME
My name is Duncan and I am a Maths Graduate in Scotland with a passion for maths and relaxation! I am an ASMR KZreadr and plan to go on to teach maths at high school level in the coming years. I am very enthusiastic about teaching and to help me improve and get practice before entering the world of work I have created this channel to help people learn about mathematics at all levels all whilst having a good night's sleep.

Not me studying Math at university, struggling with multi-variable integration and watching this so that I can understand something.

I’ve made it all the way to differential calculus with some major gaps in my knowledge, so I feel ya bud.

In my country we study these subjects in eleventh grade lol
This channel has really helped me with maths. I used to get really panicked and anxious, but watching has helped me take a calmer approach and do better than I ever have. Thank you Dido ❤️

I'm so happy to be able to help. Maths can be quite an intimidating and tricky subject!
25:40 the hyp cannot be shorter than the other sides. 7/cos(40) would be right. 😊

My mistake!!! Yes, the hypotenuse in this question could be: hyp = 7/cos(40) = 9.14 cm
I’m a CS major and I hate math but this actually makes me want to learn about ot
Lovq from India ❤❤ and an easy way to learn - Opposite=Perpendicular Adjescent=Base The way:P B P H H B P=Perpendicular H=Hypotenuse B=Base Its for all tan,cot sec.... Eg Tan=P B
I really like the concept behind this channel ❤

I’d like to see a bit of 2d conical functions such as parabola, ellipse, hyperbola, circumference, their equation and all their parts in the Cartesian plane! i found them very fascinating as all math, keep up the good work❤
Trigonometry is so easy and I’m studying that topic in school rn thank you for the video Dido!!
i’m doing maths gcse and seriously love trig!! another great video from dido! would be awesome to cover sine and cosine rule in another video!!!!

Hope you enjoyed the video! As I said, I'd love to so another Trig video where I explore specific trig rules such as the sine & cosine rules as well as further trig functions and proofs ☺

@@ASMRMathsdefinetly!! i really struggle with them and i can imagine it’d be super helpful
holy crap, this actually helped me out so much. thank you so much.
Im taking my GCSEs next year, and my mocks in a couple weeks. Im currently catching up after a long illness-related absence and the asmr factor makes maths so much more bearable! Dido, I can’t express how much you’re a lifesaver. Thank you for these videos
Thanks Dido, just started FM A-Level and I’m really enjoying it!

Can you do video where you rate different mathematical subjects like Algebra Trigonometry Probability/statistics Vectors & matrices Discrete math Etc....

So glad this video could help! Thanks for watching 💙
I would love a video on Expected Value. Never understood that
You should do this for imaginary numbers and other things that come up on final exams, you teach way better than any teacher I’ve encountered 😭
you should do a video on bias for a year 11 student. i am learning all new content and i only have 2 weeks to prepare for my exam
My maths exam is tomorrow and I'm counting this is revision. Trig identities are the bane of my existence in exams. Having to remember them and use the correct ones, I suck at it 😭
Do you think you could make a video on ap pre calc?
If I fall asleep to this is that the equivalent to studying?
36:42 finishing video later
i’m doing my gcses this year and i’m dreading my maths exam so much ☠️
41:20 actually tan90 is 1/0 which is not defined
Gotta love a bit of trig, except I’m doing logarithms and exponentials right now😢

25:21 I think its adj/cos = hypotenuse, coz algebra. But also because how can the hypotenuse be bigger than the adjecent.
Not me in 8th grade watching this to sleep
At 33:10 it was supposed to be 48.2° not cm

im a 7th grader watching this. I dont know why, but this is interesting
