Good luck with whatever you chose brother and thanks again for the 4 runner review. Oh, and you should have gotten that GX460 as well, for the same reasons. I own a 2023 GX460, 2021 Tundra, and a 2024 4runner and won't need a new car for decades.

@@michaellafrance6454 I actually was wanting a 2022 GX but finding a new one during that time was impossible. I would’ve had to order it in January and wait until May to take delivery which didn’t make sense at the time. I found this and got it. It actually recently was hit and caused a lot of damage. Going to trade out of it soon. Definitely not going American or Japanese. Just want something quicker and luxurious. I do love the 4Runner and will always have a special place in my heart for it. If I got a truck, I’d need one with an actual aftermarket like the F150. The Tundras are good but just don’t compete that well in my opinion. Going to be getting a German car soon anyways, so it doesn’t matter. Thanks for watching!

just got my c6 has a fuel leak, but warranty fixing that, rear right strut/shock is pretty bad too, and i think i have some kind of air leak in the front but otherwise great car 26k miles 2009 the one thing I can say is that stereo you have needs to be replaced try a Sony xavax1000 its like $200 and has apple carplay

Yeah it does need replaced but I don’t mind as it has AUX. I don’t need the screen as I drive this more local and wouldn’t really need CarPlay. Also since my daily has all the creature comforts, I can sacrifice that in this car.

@@TheSlowEcoboost not for long distance. Local driving I drive it everywhere. Had some issues so it hurt my confidence of taking it everywhere but it’s gotten better. AUX saves it and saves me hundreds in not buying a new head unit.

@@Vic-xl7hu yup z51 package. It's a 2008. I mean it's not the slowest car in the world, but it definitely is not as fun as I would expect. A few years ago I had a C5 once again Auto and that was even slower so it is better than that. But I think I've learned my lesson playing with auto on Corvettes lol however the newer ones (c7-c8) are probably much better tho.

I’m torn between the c6’s and Gt’s. The 2018+ S550 w the 10 spd would be a rebuilt with 30k miles or a clean if i find one for 20k$ or the 2008+ C6 would be a clean title which would also be around 20k$ and 60-70k miles. This will be my first car EVER. I have drove my mothers and fathers cars for a while. I’m looking for something that’s semi daily. 4 times a week driving. The c5 has also been my dream car 2 years straight! only thing throwing me off is the interior. I’m planning on getting one and wrapping it midnight purple with chrome wheels and some big tires and some clear tailights! maybe even a cam longtube headers and an exaust!

I can help here. If you love the C5, maybe get that to start and move into a C6. Depends on your budget of course. A C6 right off the bat is great because you’ll be driving the car more. It’s very good for a daily driver. If you live in an area with decent weather it’s great! Lots of trunk space, only has one passenger seat though whereas the Mustang has rear seats. The interior is nothing special in the C6 either. Just remember it’s an old Chevy at the end of the day. I don’t want to scare you off but be ready for sensors, electronics, and other stuff to act up on the C6. It’s great and drives amazing. Whatever you decide to get, drive it and abuse it. These cars are meant to be pushed and honestly it keeps the cars healthier. Good luck!

The breaking down is what’s scaring me because my parents were always common traffic drivers so they don’t know much about cars and they wouldn’t understand why my car breaksdown so much. I’ll try to get it inspected pre purchase or get it from a trusted dealer. I don’t think i need the space for 4 people. My parents let me use their cars so if i needed that space i’ll probably use their cars. I’m very excited to drive my very first own sports cars. I drove a CTSV-2 before and that was it. I live right next to a highway so i’ll be abusing it! thank you so much. Your content is great and very helpful!

@@Vettelover. for sure! I appreciate the support and hope you find the right car. The cars don’t break down much at all but just glitch out if that makes sense. I had a small brake light sensor go out and it would let me go into gear. Most times any thing electrical going wrong usually means bad battery but sometimes it can be other stuff. If you end up buying a C6, I recommend joining some C6 Facebook groups. Other than that, these cars are great and really have no big issues. Just do normal maintenance, keep it clean (just keeps the paint healthy), and drive it like it’s meant to be driven.

My 09 auto is surprisingly responsive when using the paddle shifters. It’s not as quick shifting as my dsg gli, but it’s pretty dang close. I’m pretty sure the transmission has a tune.

Ive done some research. Apparently you have to reset the transmission every few years. The transmission adapts to how it is used. So I’m guessing because it’s mostly cruising and highway driving, it’s used to 6th gear and doesn’t drive as aggressive. I asked around and they said if you reset the computed for the transmission, it’ll shift like new and will adapt to your driving style over time.

Nope. Never touch the handbrake. Only had it up once in Neutral when my car wouldn’t go from Park to Drive. Left it one and in Neutral while it was warming up. It also shines a bright light “Brake”!

Bought my 08 last June with 9800 on the clock. Currently sitting at 22k. Same spec as yours just black 3lt manual but no z51. Did have a corsa exhaust which sealed the deal for me. The black is beautiful…for the first 10 minutes after washing it. Only issues I’ve had have been with the key fobs sometimes not registering when I leave the car so it thinks I left the inside.

Interesting. My key works pretty good but the range is awful. I’ve put in a new battery and everything and it really only works like 15-25 feet away. I’d love a Corsa but they’re way too much. I’d rather buy headers and tune my car. It’s great you got the Corsas for the price.

Hey man, I’m looking to get out of my 5th gen Camaro into a C6. Was wondering how usable the storage is, and if you regret not trying for a higher model.
There’s lots of room but no back seats if you need those. Other than that, no issues and very daily-able if need be.
Also I have no regrets. Maybe aim for a better sound system but everything else is the same.

I bought one from carvana... bad trans.... 2 months later still in the shop.... so yeah dont trust dealers...
Dealers are fine. Takes due diligence when buying a car. I had a PPI done when I bought mine. Carvana is hit or miss. I saw a great one for sale on there but it sold before I could sit down and start the paper work.
If it was a red 2010 grand sport convertible.... you lucked out...

Nope. Never touch the handbrake. Only had it up once in Neutral when my car wouldn’t go from Park to Drive. Left it one and in Neutral while it was warming up. It also shines a bright light “Brake”!
I wasn’t a fan of the c6 but the car has grown on me a lot and considering getting one. Great video man!

Bought my 08 last June with 9800 on the clock. Currently sitting at 22k. Same spec as yours just black 3lt manual but no z51. Did have a corsa exhaust which sealed the deal for me. The black is beautiful…for the first 10 minutes after washing it. Only issues I’ve had have been with the key fobs sometimes not registering when I leave the car so it thinks I left the inside.
Interesting. My key works pretty good but the range is awful. I’ve put in a new battery and everything and it really only works like 15-25 feet away. I’d love a Corsa but they’re way too much. I’d rather buy headers and tune my car. It’s great you got the Corsas for the price.
