    I’m torn between the c6’s and Gt’s. The 2018+ S550 w the 10 spd would be a rebuilt with 30k miles or a clean if i find one for 20k$ or the 2008+ C6 would be a clean title which would also be around 20k$ and 60-70k miles. This will be my first car EVER. I have drove my mothers and fathers cars for a while. I’m looking for something that’s semi daily. 4 times a week driving. The c5 has also been my dream car 2 years straight! only thing throwing me off is the interior. I’m planning on getting one and wrapping it midnight purple with chrome wheels and some big tires and some clear tailights! maybe even a cam longtube headers and an exaust!

  • @YashPatel-tl3zi

    @YashPatel-tl3zi

    2 ай бұрын

    I can help here. If you love the C5, maybe get that to start and move into a C6. Depends on your budget of course. A C6 right off the bat is great because you’ll be driving the car more. It’s very good for a daily driver. If you live in an area with decent weather it’s great! Lots of trunk space, only has one passenger seat though whereas the Mustang has rear seats. The interior is nothing special in the C6 either. Just remember it’s an old Chevy at the end of the day. I don’t want to scare you off but be ready for sensors, electronics, and other stuff to act up on the C6. It’s great and drives amazing. Whatever you decide to get, drive it and abuse it. These cars are meant to be pushed and honestly it keeps the cars healthier. Good luck!

    @@YashPatel-tl3zi Thank you so much. i meant to say i loved the C6. I think i’ll go with the C6. It will be an experience to learn how to work on cars. The breaking down is what’s scaring me because my parents were always common traffic drivers so they don’t know much about cars and they wouldn’t understand why my car breaksdown so much. I’ll try to get it inspected pre purchase or get it from a trusted dealer. I don’t think i need the space for 4 people. My parents let me use their cars so if i needed that space i’ll probably use their cars. I’m very excited to drive my very first own sports cars. I drove a CTSV-2 before and that was it. I live right next to a highway so i’ll be abusing it! thank you so much. Your content is great and very helpful!

    @@YashPatel-tl3zi I live in Texas it’s very hot and in one of the most counties with hail. I’ll try to always check the weather before coming out the house, However, I have a garage that’s not being used by my parents. Also my gym has an underground garage so hopefully the car will be safe.

    @@Vettelover. for sure! I appreciate the support and hope you find the right car. The cars don’t break down much at all but just glitch out if that makes sense. I had a small brake light sensor go out and it would let me go into gear. Most times any thing electrical going wrong usually means bad battery but sometimes it can be other stuff. If you end up buying a C6, I recommend joining some C6 Facebook groups. Other than that, these cars are great and really have no big issues. Just do normal maintenance, keep it clean (just keeps the paint healthy), and drive it like it’s meant to be driven.

    @@YashPatel-tl3zi Okay thank you I will! One final question, do you think a rebuilt low mileage mustang would be more reliable or a 60-70k mile clean title c6 would be more reliable in general?

  • @crazychris7417
    @crazychris74174 ай бұрын

    I’ve been torn between a newer Camaro, Mustang or the c6. It boiled down to a 10sp mustang gt or a c6 (auto or manual) doesn’t matter for me. Either car I plan to mod over time, the c6 is tried and true over the years, hold its value, lighter weight car and most importantly less tech and more drivers car.

  • @YashPatel-tl3zi

    @YashPatel-tl3zi

    I can help here because I was in the same position. The Camaros are great but modding the LT1 motor can be very costly. The 10 spd mustangs are great, and I almost got a 2015 with the 6 spd auto, but I found that too many people have mustangs. Depends on your preference and what you want from a car. I wanted something less people have and a car with lots of potential. It does hold its value, more interesting driving experience. Is there a prefer? I have a few more videos on the C6, if they help you. I found it difficult to find information when I bought my car so I want to help as much as possible.

    I drive a '08 350z as my daily, fun little car but I feel like I've outgrown it and want something with more power. So I've been looking at (manual of course): '10-'15 Camaro SS '13-'17 Mustang GT '05-'13 Corvette I've been doing heavy research on all 3 and if you're someone that plans on modding the car, then your best bet would be the C6 or Camaro SS. The reason why I say that is because it's cheaper to mod those 2 compared to the Mustang (Coyote).
