Do not undo her braids I took my childhood Kaya's braids out a long time ago and her hair is just ruined. I have had issues with her hair since I took out her pigtail braids.

I never knew that Melody's jumper had buttons that look like microphones. That's really cool. I also didn't know that the jumper sheds. Good to note. You got such a nice variety of different items. Your mix and match potential just grew exponentially! :) Thanks for sharing.

Melody’s school outfit is a favorite of mine, she looks so cute in it. The team AG outfits you got are really growing on me. I don’t like a super patriotic outfit but the track suit has so much light blue that it’s not in your face America, and for mix and match they both have so many options. So I’m thinking they’ll be coming home with me sometime this year.

i've had my kaya in that pow wow dress since january lol she's just so beautiful in it i can't bring myself to change her. congrats on your kaya doll !! she's gorgeous
Thank you! It's quite a special dress! I got it earlier in the year in anticipation of getting Kaya at some point. For now she's in a more casual dress but I had a fun photo shoot with the pow wow one!
Your Kaya is so pretty! Don’t worry about her hair. I couldn’t even see it. Kaya’s hair is fun to style so maybe you can take out her braids and re-do them. My Kaya was found at a thrift store and I love her so much. She is my most cuddly doll. Enjoy❤Her name is beautiful. 💕
Thank you so much! I definitely will take her braids out eventually! I kept my Molly in her original braids the entire time I had her out as a kid. When I got her back out I redid her braids and think I did a good job so I probably can with this doll too. Or other fun styles!

It was suchhhh a struggle! But omg I'm in love with her! I don't think I've fawned over a brand new doll this much in a while. Maybe Nova (120). But that was nearly a year ago!!
I’ll say it again.. your Kaya doll is STUNNING and I love her new name! I was a huge fan of Avatar and especially the water tribe as well so her middle name is my favorite. Also.. I need a shirt like yours! I love it 😍

I've used foam hair rollers for my dolls when recurling my curly hair dolls like Samantha.i keep the curlers in for a few day's so that's it looks prefect I don't use a steamer I'd be to afraid to use one and mess up my dolls some how plus mom won't let me
I got some foam rollers to try next. I just wanted to use the kit from back in the day pleasant company and see how it went! It looked good but did not stay very long.

That's why it's awesome when there is a wide variety for a wide variety of tastes! I love the style of Addys but wish it was different colors, for my collection personally.

This was so fun. I can tell how different our styles are because your bottom choice would have been closer to the top for me and your top choice would've been near the bottom for me lol. It was fun trying to guess how you would rank them based on what I know of your favorite colors and style.

Kaley, I really enjoyed this video. The funny thing is that I could almost take your list and reverse it and those would be my favorites. :) I own Josefina's outfit and I love it. I also love Julie's original white dress, but I already have her Calico Outfit, which I like a little bit better, and I only buy one of each named character's outfits, so that's the one I have for Julie. I also love Caroline's dress, but I love her Work Dress a bit more and own that. I almost bought Rebecca's dress many times, but it's generally very snagged and I never found a good one. I've always wanted the Maryellen Mini doll in that green dress, but I already have her in her Meet outfit and I don't need a duplicate of her Mini doll. I LOVE the boots that come with Kirsten's new birthday dress, but not enough to spend $55 on the outfit. Thanks for sharing all of this!!
Haha too funny about the reverse! You only have one outfit from named characters? I didn't know that about your collection. That's fascinating. My eventual goal is to have all of Samantha's original collection, and then beyond that, just what I like for historicals lol. $55 is steep! I know it's partially because the book comes with but I don't need the books!! I want Kirsten's but probably won't get it because of that. I need to go look at more of the historical collections for the dolls that came out when I wasn't collecting. I don't know a ton about Caroline, Julie, Rebecca or Maryellen. Some, but not a ton
@@Agstar91 Yep, I have several different "boundaries" around my collection to keep me from buying too much, and one outfit for each named doll is one of them (although I do have Julie's Calico outfit and her original PJs, but I consider those to be 2 very different things). Although, I specifically went through all of the named dolls after I wrote this comment and I believe there are 38 of them and I only have 18 of their outfits, so that's still another 20 outfits I could buy if I wanted to. I had no idea until I did the math. :) All of my dolls also have different eye colors and almost all of them have different face molds (I do have 2 Josefina's, but I have no interest in getting rid of either one). I also do a lot with numbers, for example, I have 64 total outfits for 8 dolls = 8 outfits per doll. I have a lot of numbers like that on a spreadsheet, but I'm a bookkeeper and a numbers gal at heart. :)

@@Agstar91 Oh, I'm so glad! :) I think there are at least 18 different AG eye colors. My girls have blue, decal brown, amber, dark hazel, turquoise (Saige), aquamarine (MG), grey and green.

This was a fun video! I’m more of a neutral girlie so my ranking would be totally different than yours but I agree with a lot of what you said too. I do like the brown and cream of Addy’s because it is neutral and so different from the bright colored outfits. Maryellen’s is definitely my least favorite, and Kirsten’s is up there as one of my top favorites. I somehow hadn’t seen Melody’s but now I want it!
Melodys is like a hidden gem I feel like! So many people love her's! For my own self I love the neutrals (except I hate brown), but for my dolls, I went them to embody the more colorful palate that I used to wear. I'm happy for you you now own addy and Kristen's!
Happy birth month! If i had to pick, I'd probably go with felicity's birthday dress as my #1, idk i just love the way it looks, so much so that i made my own version of it for my felicity. Kit would probably be my second choice, i just remember really wanting her dress as a kid 😂 i would love to make a birthday dress for julie by combining both her dresses together, the style and embroidery of her first, but with the colors of the second. I love the colors of the second one, but the first one is more my style, as i usually prefer sleeves on my own dresses. Without going through all the outfits and making this comment way too long, I'll just say that i love most of them, and would love to find or make them for my dolls.

I agree about Addy’s which is super cute and I think the colors look good with her skin however I would have loved to see it in light green or another color. I really like Rebecca’s too. It was so fun to hear your husband’s perspective! It sounds like he doesn’t appreciate the historicals as much, though. 😅 I actually love Vivian’s look - that dress is perfect with Courtney’s accessories. I had to laugh because I have a similar doll named Vivienne, TM 80, with the same style.
Haha love the similarities with Vivian and Vivienne! He likes the historicals somewhat, he loves Samantha! He just didn't grow up with them and since I'm very careful and concerned about mine, I don't do as much with them, so he doesn't have as much interaction with the historical outfits either. He doesn't care for Felicity and Kit and honestly I'm not as much loving them as I once did either. But it's alright, I'd never part with them! 💖
