I love Melody! You should pick up a BeForever edition of her story because - while the current edition added pictures - it cut some story out. I actually got Melody on her debut weekend in 2016 because a 1960s character was a long time dream of mine. She looks cute modern, though! Eva(ngeline) is a great name for her. Happy belated Birthday!

I have a feeling I’m going to end up with both editions of the BeForever girls’ books for that reason 😅 I really enjoyed the pictures in the books, especially the portraits in the beginning and was disappointed when I got my Maryellen and found that they took those out, and then found it odd when I was just randomly scrolling through the AG wiki fandom and found out they cut parts of the stories between editions? Like, I just don’t see a point 🤷🏼‍♀️ On the topic of Melody, I got her on a whim for around 70$ back in 2021. There was someone selling her, Cécile, and Nanea, and no one was bidding on Melody 😢 and I do like her collection, and I’m a sucker for the historicals. So I said screw it, bid on her, and won 😂 she’s so pretty. One side of her flip is a little flat but all in all she was in great condition and had her full meet outfit

@@Agstar91 No I don't really get into custom dolls . I have twin granddaughters so I was working on creating twin dolls that represent them and their interest. I was using Melody for both but one wants a different doll so a work in progress for now.

Melody is a really cute dark skinned doll, maybe she'll be my next A.G. doll, (I am still undecided between her and Sonali - which is harder to find). You Made a very good choice, congratulations 👍.

Such a great video!! I’ve been going back and forth on getting Melody because of the new version of the Sonali mold isn’t my favorite. But wow, yours is so gorgeous!! Perhaps picking her out in person is the way to go.

She's absolutely lovely! I adore my Melody. It sounds like you had a lot of fun at the Columbus store - I live in Columbus, so I'm lucky that I get to go there all the time! And getting your mini-me a mini-me is super cute. 🙂

Thank you! Awww it must be nice to get to go there often! It was such a nice store and mall! And free parking is wonderful haha. Chicago is my closest store and that's a bit of a drive still and parking is expensive

Great haul! I hope Melody's hair behaved itself for you. :) Do you have Rebecca's BeForever outfit? If Zoe wore that, she would be the twin of the mini doll. :) And it's a really pretty outfit if you don't have it yet.

I actually snipped that little bit of hair that wasn't cooperating because it irritated me so much and would not cooperate. You can't tell at all. I actually ordered Rebecca's be forever outfit! Just the skirt and jacket and shoes. Very cheap but it needs to be repaired. It just came so I haven't gotten a chance yet to do the matchy matchy :)

@@Agstar91 yeah, I like it. It’s a cute store. It’s much smaller than the other 2 stores I’ve lived near. The Natick (Boston) store was 2 stories and the Dallas was also pretty big. I only visited the Dallas store once though since we only lived in the area less than a year and traffic around Dallas is a nightmare. I’m not really complaining though since I’m thrilled to even live near one at all.

Check out the Lori brand for mini doll clothes, they have really cute outfits and mini dolls too

6:58 I hate when companies do that with shoes or headbands 😩 it looks so stupid with the tag so for good pictures you either have to cut it, precariously place them so the tag isn’t visible, or edit the tag out. You can’t tell me on a fabric headband or a shoe that had fabric on the inside, you couldn’t sew it to the inside of the item? 🥲

Oh agree! Disney is really bad with their tags too. It's excessive! Like is that really necessary?! Or put a paper tag that can be removed because you know that the fabric one has to be removed to use the way you have it!
