This doll room is everything! I love how it’s coming together. You’ve organized everything so nicely and it is satisfying to look at. The whole room is so “Kaley” and I’m so glad you have this space! I especially love the inclusion of the butterflies from your grandparents’ house. I personally wouldn’t paint them - they’re beautiful as-is and will remind you more of them this way. I’m looking forward to seeing the space evolve and especially to seeing the dollhouse once it is complete.

I love how perfectly it matches your personality and how happy it makes you. The wall color is so pretty. I chuckled at your hatred for that vent (I thought it was nice). I love that you were able to acknowledge that the space you were trying to use wasn't working for you and give yourself permission to move things to a different room. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for watching! Those vents are impossible to replace and don't want to stay on the wall! We have several in the house that are such a pain! They look cool to an extent but beyond that... haha

The Star carpet is EVERYTHING really pulls the whole room together I am over the moon excited for you to have a whole room all to yourself and enjoy your dolls even more 💗I can’t wait for the progress on your dollhouse. Kaley, this is wonderful! I love seeing the step by step transformation. Love the color of purple you chose for the walls. My bedroom is painted purple and I love it. :) I also have a big AG bag full of empty boxes. :) I think yours works perfectly in that corner. Your fold-up stool is really cool. I love all of your clothing storage. Everything looks great! Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing more. :)

Your room looks beautiful, so well organized! It's very cohesive, I love it. I use the Billy bookshelves for my dolls, with four shelves, and it works for me. Sometimes I have to take the shoes off my dolls so they fit, and it is somewhat tight, but I haven't had any major issues. My Marisol is slightly taller than my other dolls, and she does need to stand at a slight slant to fit. I also have a Pax wardrobe as a dollhouse, and it's so much fun!

Thank you so much! It came out mostly how I envisioned! I filmed a little bit of me like showing where I was going to put things and how it was going to work and it worked out almost the way I hoped! Oh I'm glad to know your experience with the Billy and pax! It is TIGHT for the Billy but I suppose shoes can come off haha

Your room is coming together nicely. I am fortunate to have a doll room downstairs at my house. It is an utter mess at the moment but I do love spending time in there organizing and playing!

@@Agstar91 Yes, it is hard to find time to work or play on the doll room. I work full time Monday-Friday but work from home on 3 of those days so I try to steal a few mins at lunchtime but it is not enough to get caught up! Big sigh 😔 All we can do is keep plugging away at whenever we get time and it will eventually manageable. But I think we will always be wanting to make improvements!

Totally! I spent a few hours with hubby in my doll room today putting in some shelves and trying to put some wallpaper and flooring in the dollhouse.

I also have the packs for a dollhouse and my tip is to do your wallpaper and your flooring before you put your shelves up. If you can it’s hard to do that top floor if you already have shelves in. Contact paper is great there’s many different flooring in contact paper and lots of different flower prints in contact paper and even plain prints Walmart has a lot to choose from. I worked with wallpaper and it was really hard, that’s my tip

I got peel and stick wallpaper and it's been going pretty well! I put in the shelves and measured where they go and then took the shelves out again to wallpaper since each room will be a different pattern, I needed to know where to stop on each level! :)

I have three Billie bookcases full of dolls and I have four shelves on it so four levels of dolls they fit the only dolls that are little tight. Are the PC dolls. I don’t know if they are a little bit taller dolls that have tall shoes will take the shoes off and put them right in front of them.

Don't be sorry! The dollhouse shelves are "Pax" from ikea! They are considered a wardrobe base. The other shelf is a Billy Bookcase

I'm despretly in need of those Billy Ikea bookcases to use for my AG Doll House.Now I'm just using a bookcase I had laid it down horizontally bcuz I didn't feel it worked horizontally 😢.Purple and pink 💜 thòse color's. Hi! The poster I got secondhand on poshmark actually! We have an ikea about 2 hours from us so we go in person. I don't think the Billy book cases work well for a dollhouse as they are narrow, but the Pax shelves do! I'm working on getting the dollhouse ready so I can't wait to share that!
