I was using loads of ptfe in the military rewiring electronics and I haven’t had any side effects, is it not inert? Who says it’s going to kill us all? Hi Oz Cycles, I have tried calibrating this eds and its not easy, i have contacted wheeltop for troubleshoot manuel and they will be in touch so far easy to install and the app is easy aswell but the fine tunning does nothing , really pissed with this electronic group set so far i have a 10sp gravel with shimano gears , eventually i will figure it out but frustrating at the same time, my fine tune only allows me one digit at a time not like yours in larger increment's. i will call bike shop if they use wheeltop app ajustment. their are things that dont add up from your video.

He goes from gasoline to "degreaser" (citrus degreaser,or what?), a water rinse, then to alcohol. methylated spirits is denatured alcohol, and that will absorb and "remove" water. (I like to use 91% isopropyl alcohol) OTOH,I'm very leery of using gasoline (petrol) as a cleaning solvent. the vapors are hazardous, and very easily ignited, even explosive. Kerosene (paraffin oil) might be a safer first solvent. or mineral spirits. Kerosene will leave a waxy film, but the degreaser should remove that.
