    Them traffic times to get from the OV to UofA more like an hour! Heavy traffic south on Oracle in the morning & same north in the afternoon! Oracle, Magee to Ina, bumper to bumper!

    Oro Valley doesn't have a down town & it doesn't have neighboorhoods. It has strip malls & subdivisions! The OV is uppity, so if ya ain't rich! While crime is low, it's a ticket trap town, so watch out!

    Beware! Vail has traffic issues. The roads are not keeping up with the developments. Also, there is no public transportation there.

    Hi Rachel, Great list of the positives of Tucson, particularly the "community" aspect of Tucson. We're definitely considering moving to the area. I'm a audio and video production specialist and here are a couple of tips to up your video game. First, run your microphone wire underneath your clothing. An exposed mic cable is not very professional. Also, the room you're in has a bit of an echo in it. Try dampening some of the echo with well placed blankets along hard walls that reflect your voice. All in all though, very good job on your video production.

    Nice video. We are planning a move from dreary Wisconsin to a better climate and of all the states we are considering we keep coming back to Arizona. We are dog people, we have several rescues. Most of the homes we see in Catalina Foothills don't have tall walls...I'm thinking we need 8 foot walls and a coyote roller to help keep our dogs safe but I'm wondering if this area is governed by HOA's that don't allow taller walls. We are amenable to building, but we were contemplating a home with a center courtyard so no worries about coyotes but I don't know what the restrictions are there. We don't want to live on top of our neighbors like the Phoenix area, we want at least an acre of land, and if it is an HOA they have to allow 3 dogs and larger breeds - we have boxers and a pittie mix. What are our options?

  • @livingintucsonrachel
    @livingintucsonrachel13 күн бұрын

    Thanks for watching! Typically for any of the homes in the Foothills area that are on a bigger lot, like an acre, they are less likely to have restrictions on wall height. They might still have an HOA, but it’s typically a more relaxed governing board compared to homes that are on small lots and in more master planned communities. Feel free to call or text me so I can get more details from you and help assist! (520)335-0350 👍🏼

    Texas population is exploding. It’s over 31 million and counting. Just like anything else, people move. If .1% move, that’s a small city. So while it may see like sooo many people are moving, it’s really just normal migration.

    I moved here in Jan. 1dt day an overdose in yhe parkinglot 2nd day a huge homeless fire 2nd week someone walked thru and set all the garbange cans and dumpsters on fire. I have online business and had to close it bc of the local post office It cost me thousands in missong packages. Nevet once has the speedway post office answered the phone. I currently have 3 cases filed against them. Called a detective about a potentially dangerous situation in my home. They never called me back. Reported to the city that we have a constant stream of himan sewage in our parkinglot. No response Contacted the mayors office to complaon about all of these things and the only response ai got was about the sewer. Ive lived in 13 states and other places in Az , Ive lived in southside Chicago with drivebys and Tuscon is still by far the worst place Ive ever lived. I love the desert I love the mountains. I hate everything else about this place. Im pretty much crawling out of here next month. It took 6 months for Tuscon to destroy my business and mess up my life. I dont suggest anyone move here. Just visit. This isnt like other places. Oh and homeless camps are everywhere. Im told this is a good area.just yesterday I had to chase off a homeless guy jerking off into a stolen purse.

    I enjoyed getting to know Tucson and the area around it and you did a very good job of narrating it all. As a middle class retired man I am still puzzled at how any normal working class person will ever own a home in this current society due to the out of reach prices?? It seems that all the nice neighborhoods require salaries upward of 150,000$ to qualify. Another example of "The two class system" The Democrats have been trying to ignore~! Thanks for your work on this channel and I subscribed and liked the video.

    La Reserve is THE BEST. I lived in the top of the hill up there and you couldn’t believe how quiet, scenic, and majestic it is. My wife and I had unobstructed views of the mountains and used to sit out on our back porch every night and have a glass of wine or a beer and just look at the stars. It was so quiet at night you didn’t want to say a word. Everyone in that neighborhood knew it was amazing and kept it on the down low. Gated community with a staff that handled visitors and close to shopping while also being tucked back and not dealing with anyone. Unreal. A gem!

    The Pros of moving to tucson, az. Tucson has that big city/small town feeling. You can get to mostly anywhere you want to go to in Tucson, AZ and like Las Cruces, NM it is a good city to retire in. Phoenix is not that far of a drive to have a get away and also driving to Las Vegas or taking the bus or flying is not that far away. The cons: I say depending in the area you choose to move to. Some areas can be filled with crime and other areas can be better!
