La Reserve is THE BEST. I lived in the top of the hill up there and you couldn’t believe how quiet, scenic, and majestic it is. My wife and I had unobstructed views of the mountains and used to sit out on our back porch every night and have a glass of wine or a beer and just look at the stars. It was so quiet at night you didn’t want to say a word. Everyone in that neighborhood knew it was amazing and kept it on the down low. Gated community with a staff that handled visitors and close to shopping while also being tucked back and not dealing with anyone. Unreal. A gem!

Them traffic times to get from the OV to UofA more like an hour! Heavy traffic south on Oracle in the morning & same north in the afternoon! Oracle, Magee to Ina, bumper to bumper!

I think that "Rancho Vistoso" is considered the "Master Planned Community" within Oro Valley. I live in a specific subdivision or neighborhood within Rancho Vistoso.

I used to live in Oro Valley...for over 30 years. The house sold for 665,000 bucks. We worked our @$$3$ off to fix it up...and I did the entire back yard of laying rock by wheelbarrow and shovel...because we couldn't get the tractor into the backyard. Did I ever get a work out!

Where is the community pool in Rancho Vistoso? I drove there for some minutes and didn’t saw. I want a house without a pool, but an option for hotter days.

How much (if at all) cheaper is oro valley than the foothills? I’m currently looking at condos in the foothills, but would consider oro valley if it’s a better value. So far, from what I’ve seen, it isn’t.

Oro Valley doesn't have a down town & it doesn't have neighboorhoods. It has strip malls & subdivisions! The OV is uppity, so if ya ain't rich! While crime is low, it's a ticket trap town, so watch out!

@@MovieJustin Casa Adobes is on Oracle Rd just south of Ina, in Pima county! I don't know what ya mean by a cop town? Ya got to be rich to live in the OV. No crime problem but if you violate traffic laws ya get a ticket! Tucson is a stupidly run democRATic city! That's woke socialist with a high crime rate! It's overrun with vagrants, who carry knives, so bring a pistol!

Yeah as someone who lives in Oro Valley, I would say that First Watch is amazing, and I haven’t had any other Mod pizzas in my life other than in Oro Valley but I would recommend the Mod pizza that is there.

When I used to live there...the subway on La Canada and Lambert Lane was only a mile away. I used to walk north up this wash to Lambert...and then just walk down the hill to Subway.
