I have been involved in the RC hobby for over 20 years
I raced in gas two wheel drive on road and two-wheel drive off-road buggy classes. I recently got into electric bicycles and I built my first ebike and ebike battery I absolutely love it. I am going to continue making RC car and Ebike, review, entertainment, DIY, and how to videos. Thank you for your interest and thank you for watching!

do they make a carry case ?
what pluise dose it use from output to xt90 plug ?
they supply 2 sets of torque brackets we used one on the inside and one on the out side
@@katiekumcgilmine only had one set in a later video I just ended up bolting it together with no spacers I've had no issues in 5,000 miles.
@@samjohnson517 AWESOME thats good distance with no hiccups ,i used a crystalyte hs4065 rd notor so actually had to get axle extenders to fit the drop outs it was the fastest motor i could find that still lets you run 7 speed casette and i worked out a way to put a 500watt bafang front motor onto the through axle forks, you can see a video on my chanel how the build ended up with the modified suspension
I'm 5'4..could I comfortably ride this?
@@burnthedead13 I am 5'8 and I am barely flat-footed (both feet flat at a stop ) when it sags from the weight of sitting on it. try a mountain bike with an extra large frame and you'll get an idea. You can ride it it's just that when you stop you're probably going to lean over a little and use one leg to hold it up.
It sounds like Donald Trump with a good vocabulary, idk how to feel about it
I just bought one at the hobby shop all black
How much can i trust getting a keyu 5 frame off aliexpress?
Hello, I have personally had really good luck with AliExpress if there is a problem they will get involved if you contact them.
TOO MUCH TALKING !!!!!!!!
Hey Man I'm curious in the manual "UsersGuide_EHLS500_EN.pdf" it looks like at 1080p the max refresh rate is 60hz (which has a pixel clock of 148.5 Mhz). But they also support resolutions like 2560x1080 @ 60hz (which has a pixel clock of 198.0 Mhz), and 3840x2160 @ 60hz (which has a pixel clock of 594.0 Mhz). Given it's obvious based on the fact it can play 3d blurays the LCD's function at 120hz, do you have any idea why it doesn't support 1080p 120hz? Is the HDMI front end just not designed to accept anything above 60hz? For gaming have you managed to get it to do 1080p @ 120hz using CRT (custom resolution tool) or anything like that?
It probably ruins.. if you look on the side it says it charges three types of batteries...
I just bough the same bike las Saturday and u got play on the head set...i cant get it to tide...and the stem tube is long...im going to cut it like you did....she ride good thiugh..💪🏽💪🏽
Hey my friend, my name is Shaun. I live in Simi Valley. I have the same bike wondering is there a way to fix a flat back tire without having to disconnect the cable from the battery or controller?
Absolutely so long as the cable is long enough, it should be zip tied to the swing arm,you have to cut the zip ties that should give you enough cable, just remove the rim and lay it down next to the bike and change the tire from the non-wire side.
I’ll give it a run. I have three of the bikes all together. I have two for sale for 3500. I’ll send you a couple pictures.
I would only ues it for the road
How you avoid the cops see you go 40km
Replace all those Allen head screws with thumb screws. It's a few bucks.
Yeah I thought about it but the problem is they would stick out and I would constantly bang my knees on them. It works on the other frame because the area where the thumb screws are located is recessed.
Will this charge a 48v lithium ion battery ?
There are options when you order the charger so you would just order it for a 48v.
Great review thanks for this :) haveyou tried to play 3d blurays on this? Im curious if the flicker is visible on the active glasses.
I only tried it once with Avatar it was pretty good but it ended up giving me a headache LOL. I kind of see why that technology is going away.
@@samjohnson517 Thanks man :) Yeah I'm trying to figure out if its 120hz or 144hz active shutter glasses frequency used for it I'll contact Epson
Which 1 is best for taller riders 6'3 and above..i seen 1 but i was too big for it.
The frames are all pretty much the same they don't seem to come in different sizes. I'm 5'8 but my seat post is all the way down and then I'm barely flat-footed. I would say get whatever frame you like and then adjust all the other parts, for example get a longer rear shock instead of 190 mm get a 220 or 230. And maybe longer front forks.
cool
7:35 is the exact reason I went with the cs20 and the 17” wheel eventho I am 6”3, easier to take upstairs and load into my highlander …. The cs20 is the lighter frame since IT’s aluminum I got a 5000/8000w motor, fardriver 150a and 50ah Samsung cells 200a BMS battery shipped to NY for 3100$ …. Very excited!!!! But I have to wait 50 days 😭
I wanted to ask, that CS20 frame looks exactly like the ESTRAPZ Cyclone bike. Is it the same ?
I can't say for sure but it is common for these companies to use readily available frames, . I mean you know what they say; if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck.......
@@samjohnson517 True that.
You know you can change the screws right? They make all types of screws with the same threading.
Thanks for the content. So you put the shorties on the back... but didn't change the front. How does that affect handling? I understand all the coil shocks take some time to break in. Did you find that?
Yes the front stays the same we don't notice anything different with the handling really, I don't know if those things are ever going to get less stiff LOL I mean they're okay, way better than stock.
How do you take the rear wheel on and off? Heard I need to disconnect some of the electric cables, got no idea what I'm doing when it comes to electronics. Never seen you do this in the video so missed the most important bit. It's nice to know if the Hub motor broke I would know how to replace it or a basic tier change.
Well if you're just doing a tire change you do not have to disconnect the wiring you can remove the tire from the side of the rim that does not have wiring. If you are changing the hub motor then yes you will need to disconnect the wires that run to the controller, there will be three large wires and usually two plugs.
@@samjohnson517 okay thanks for that I'll bear in mind for future
2 years later how is it holding up? so far this is the best build kit video i can find on utube. i am thinking about building one. is it even worth building price wise? that much cheaper?
Hello thank you for watching, yes it's holding up great 4600 miles no major problems.
Oh they were all similar frames..
Good day sir quick question how tall is those bike
Seat height on the Enduro is about 34 in of course it's sags down a lot when you sit on it and the onyx is about 33 in
Thanks for replying back I scrub to your Chanel
I have a tiny bend in my rear rim i cant almost see it and im scared of it imagine with that bend you have on ahaha how was doing did you changed the rim or something?
Yeah mine's bent in a couple of places , I just hit it with a rubber mallet to straighten the edge.
Can you show pedals on these for legality reasons
Ok, so i know it cost more to diy mod my aluminium Mongoose MTB frame, but at least it don't look off-the-shelf. And 28 tamper resistant Torx screws, on each side, does make bike thieves think twice. They want one easy to snatch, like yours.😁 Remove any key switch, and install a keyless remote/alarm system. Mount the speaker, in such a way, that it can't be seen or cut. Then listen to bike thieves when they say, Yo, that a U-lock! Buy the fattest U-lock you can find.
Woah this is awesome. I want to build my one ebike one day.
Do you or anyone else know how to source one of the custom motorcycle headsets seen in the first steps of Ladi's video kzread.info/dash/bejne/fZ6j0LCFdKjMXaQ.html i have my NB Power Enduro 90% complete and do not like the low quality bicycle headset, i was able to get one thrust bearing in to replace one of the standard bearings, but am wondering if this is custom made in Czechoslovakia, or are these available in the States too, anyone know?
venom make good batteries.
IK this is an old video but you probably found out that those aluminum pushrods are total garbage, bc I sure did. Also, the grey pushrods that came out maybe a year after the 2.0 was released are tons better than the original shiny ones and hold up very very well, no need to upgrade the grey pushrods at all!
Dont hand an elephant killer to a dipstick newbie.
*Thats gotta be way more than 35AH?*
Pretty sure it's a 33.6AH. (12 x 2800 = 33600) Only the parallel connections combine to increase the AH
Women….☕️
I'm having the one side flashing issue and i emailed Traxxas and they didn't give an actual explanation what error this is and just want me to mail it in and spend $50 for a new one.
I got a guy willing to sell me a talaria battery for a steal do you think it would fit in the bomber frame it seems to be the same size as the battery you have in there
Have him measure it and send you the dimensions
you can even get a 20s by 20p battery in there it depends on cell orientation, but youd need to build your own battery
Good honest & to the point ☝️ good job
6:01 the only bike with the correct motor placement. unsprung mass is not your friend, friends
They say you can mount those motorcycle style longer seats on these but I don’t really see how with that post in the way
The post is sitting in a bracket that's held on by four bolts and that bracket is changed when you switch to a motorcycle seat
That’s why I build 6s batteries and run them in series! That way I can charge it with my rc car charger lol that way I can either run 50v, 75v, 100v
Holy crap, best video ever. Thank you very much. I built a B-52 during the pandemic, and I loved it, but it got stolen. When I showed the cops, the video of the guy stealing it, they said sorry they can't do anything. But anyway…...... I really want to build another one, and I really really like the frames that you've spotted and shown here...... Thanks again. namastemofo......
Maybe you could Put a samsung tracker or apple airtag in the cable raceway ? Idk just a idea
Can it be fitted with mid drive motor?
I mean when it comes down to it you can pretty much make anything work with modifications, but the short answer is no because the frame is too wide
i was impressed the 7245 unlocked is tunning at a solid 100 ampand 150 unlocked at 220
youll have to keep carefull eye on your controller heat ,i do not recomend putting inside the frame,i removed most of the outer on my 7245 unlocked and 72150 unlocked so could mount them both together under the frame and used water block cooling instead
Yes in a later video I show where I cut slots in the side panels to get air to the controller, it definitely helped with the heat.
if you use this technique with out the holders ,it can start to cause some short if insulation isnt perfect ,so dont scimp thinking youll save money not using the holders
What frame do you use?
It's just a generic Enduro e-bike frame I ordered it from eBay but you can also check AliExpress and Alibaba
