Hey there just wanted to say this book is actually all fiction, Nicholas has said in various interviews that this is his original story and not based on anyone else’s story, so not based on a real story.. the way he started and finished the book makes it seem that it’s based on a true story (Even I got confused) but in reality he was inserting himself in the book with the fictional characters, as if he was friends with them and as if the characters were friends with him and they all knew each other. Sort of thing.. he says that’s a little towards the end of the book. But I do agree this book is amazing and I love it ❤

The thing is, if Verity's account was true, it doesn't make sense. Her pretending to be incapacitated instead of TELLING HER HUSBAND ABOUT A WRITING EXERCISE is insane. Even if she was scared to be perceived as coherent at first, there's no way she would keep up the charade for that long. She's also a sucky mom for purposely foregoing spending time with her ONLY LIVING CHILD, independent of how the others passed. So I'm in the camp that Verity most certainly committed those heinous acts and got exactly what she deserved

I think the author leaves you feeling exactly how Lowen feels. Confused, left with this terrible feeling that her soon to be husband is a killer and now she is part of this twisted life. This is also how Verity wanted her to feel, I think Verity was crazy.

Hi beautiful girl, I just stopped the video at 8.00, I had to because I'm reading it - in Italian "Ogni respiro". I'm from Rome and I've just started the second part. I wanted to know more about this enchanting novel, and I went to the internet. Just exploring the settings, and discovering that they are real places is really interesting and instructive. Obviously in Italy we have the same kind of books, commercial as it is normal for this type of schematic and "valid for all seasons" stories, but at the same time I find it a very decent story, almost authentic and very communicative. And anyway I find you so beautiful, congratulations.

Was there specific a reason why Jeremy chose Lowen to be the new author? I don't remember if there was. Or was it actually just because Lowen and Verity had the same writing style? And I guess Jeremy really wanted the series to be done for his own monetary gain 🤔
