  I do not see the point of this video i doubt players would even use this as an exp farm since it's not even that great compared to other passive farms and it doesn't matter if the player has 10k exp levels or 30 if they die they will lose it all

  I was halfway through an sorting system for every stackable item until I've finally built an iron farm. Suddenly I was ungodly fast in finishing it, and I never needed to go half a real life day mining again for it.

  I think the main point is that the allay-silverfish farm thing doesn't really break the game. It'll still take a fair amount of resource gathering to get up and running, and a fair time investment. To make this work, you have to be at a point in the game where you have access to the Nether, a good supply of blazerods, gunpowder, redstone, and glass bottles. You'll probably have enough amethyst lying around my now for allay duplication, but you'll still need to spend maybe 1-2 hours depending on luck to find an allay and bring it back to your base. Then you'll need to take some time to construct it. And every so often, you'll have to resupply when your stockpile of potions is running low. That's honestly a lot of effort to put in so that you can have a small but decent rate xp farm anywhere. Not that that's too much effort by any means, but I think it's perfectly fair. I can build an enderman farm in less than an hour for far fewer materials at a similar stage in game, and it runs much quicker. The only downside is the location, but traveling there isn't terribly difficult if your base isn't more than a few thousand blocks from the nearest stronghold, and the void isn't really too big of an issue if you just make the path wider. Both have their tradeoffs, but I don't think the allay-silverfish farm is any more unbalanced than the enderman farm. It doesn't break XP in any way it isn't already broken.

  This video makes drama out of nothing. Allays are hard to get for average player and potion of infestation last only 3 minutes. There are already bilion different ways to get infinite xp.

  Actually quarter blocks it's what I always needed from MC. Normal blocks are still part of game, but you can add details by quarter blocks. They totally replace all variations of block. You can do from them stairs, slabs, v slabs, columns, flat columns, diagonal variations, single quarter detailing and many more variations from 8 possible positions. It gives you 2^8 /2 = 128 possibilities. (Single block type Including direction variations minus symmetrical duplicates) Someone pls check calculations You don't necessary need place every single one of them by hand, simply exchange full block in crafting into 8 quarters and pre-arrange them in crafting to access desired shape. Also if there is placed full block you should be able to carve from it as many quarters as you want. This both options gives you any desired pre-arranged shape of block and ability to edit placed ones them just by one click. Full blocks are TOO SIMPLE. Minecraft lacks 3D texturing. Full blocks are TOO BIG to build anything imagined. Minecraft is dying bc of it's own stubbornness and locked for change vision. But it's not Minecraft's problem. This was a game created to fill niche for 3D sandbox games with hardware limitations. No one expected from creator anything exceptional, it gathered community around itself and with time it became classic. There was just need for someone who will do it. Nothing requiring special abilities, just simple concept which was waiting for somebody to start working on it. But nowadays bc of lack of proper development game is outdated and archaic. I dont really fell like Hytale is better than MC, it just looks like another blocky game, not big deal. We need creation of timeless invention which will provide full possibilities of what's "3D blocky sandbox". Fresh perspective.

  Symetry looks comfortable bc it's just mirrored half. Simple & boring. Asmetry looks interesting and gives most value per space. Stimulating. But it doesnt mean symetry is bad.

  Honestly it feels to me like a good amount of 1.21 features _weren't_ completely run through the bureaucracy like other features. A fair amount to be sure, but it also felt like with this update they were trying to get a little closer to a "add the feature and see what happens". I expect some of the meetings, like for the mace and these effects, were more like "yeah, we're sure we want _something_ in this direction, let's workshop it a bit, add it, and work from there" in an effort to try to make some bolder choices.

  This video gave a an idea I would love to see tested: a backpack. You'd have to place it in the chest armor place in your inventory, which gives it a risk to use. But it would give your inventory a second page you can click to. So the standard inventory slot can be used for essentials, the second inventory picks up unneccesary items which you can switch out. If that is too powerfull then we can nerve the amount of slots and maybe don't allow shulker boxes to be placed in the backpack slots. Either way it is easy to use and could potentially solve all the problems mentioned in this video.

  this is not an issue at all, this has no real benefit, the player can only absorb a certain amount of exp orbs per second and you can easily over cap that with an enderman farm, silverfish don't give more exp per orb so it literally doesn't change anything unless you are building an exp farm before the end, the effort to get a large supply of alays and potions is way more than simply killing the dragon

  Finally they added a good potion to farm xp instead of building ridiculous farms that only works on java edition and this guy is mad because a better time saving and more satisfying xp farming method? I mean if you like to build huge ugly boring to make structures go for it. I prefer the smart way 10000%

  4:35 bro you literally don't need fire res in the overworld, you can also throw out crafting table, since you already have wood. Why do you even need leads!? Boat alsa can be theown out, since YOU HAVE WOOD already. There is no need for showel if you're not going to dig a lot of sand or glay or gravel, if you need to dig something spontaneously, you can do it with hands. Sword actually can be replaced with axe, but its a risky move. Why do you even need a bed? I got it, its useful if you're traveling, but you can just take it only if you're going on a trip, you don't need it while caving, building stuff or even exploring nether or the end. Congratulations, now you have 2 times free space in your inventory. Spyglass is controversial, you can use a spyglass-like zoom mod or straight up good old OptiFine zoom, however I would like to have spyglass slot and hotkey in vanilla Minecraft

  I started using bundles on modded servers and its better than I thought, only issue is not being able to scroll items in it to extract. Bundles are awesome!

  I feel like the Infestation Potion should probably have its own gamerule, as well as a tracker, so that you can perhaps define the amount allowed to spawn, or outright set a default.

  wouldnt most other farms work better for xp? like guardian farms arnt hard to make, and potions of oozing are still limited in the sense you have to go out and make it. its not an infinite source technically, you still need the "fuel"

  an allay farm requires you to find a woodland mansion and have a steady supply of blaze rods. there are much easier and more efficient mob farms you can build early game, why aren’t they considered ‘broken’?

  The inventory problem does exist but what I do is solve it myself instead of relying on Mojang. Choosing the disadvantages yourself is something that I like to decide on. For example, if I want to mine for materials I might leave out specialized items like shears, flint and steel and even a sword since an axe is already capable enough. By deciding my loadout like in lethal company I would be able to choose the advantages and disadvantages which is the plan. Bundles having that much power holding more than 1 stack is so nasty. Bundles are just one of the tools you can utilize to alleviate one's inventory troubles. It's most useful compacting "junk" items that one might want to use in the future or for early game inventory in general.
