Why are they asking me $250-$500 of Apple Card or American Express card to verify my account on Poshmark? Does anyone know?
My closet has come to a screeching halt. I have sold nothing in about 6 days. It’s scary and d we pressing and I can’t see what I could be doing wrong.
Sales are very slowwww for me as well.

I did a bit of fall sourcing Thursday. Some disappointments. I got a plus size torrid sweater dress that at first glance looked great. And they were 50 percent off at talize. I was too quick and took thr tag off then notice the knit at the hem of the dress is coming apart. I might still try and return it but i hate returning things. Then at mission i got a real boho floreat Anthropologie top with sequins. The crosslisting app picked up loose sequins. It was right!!! Then i saw a melted spot in the fabric. I thought it was pretty, kind of boho but my daughtet said ma thats hideous so that sealed its fate. I did get a cute smocky soft corduroy dress for $2. A black mango dress for $8. A new with tags casual buffalo plaid dress for 7. A checkerec zara tunic. A new with tags forever 21 sweater dress which is nice but not much potential for it since the tag price is only 35 and i paid 10. Didnt catch the tag price. The new with tags doesnt seem to be great for me. Oh and a mems donkey kong camo long sleeve shirt. A really nice high end wool blazer and another Anthropologie shirt with no sequins thankfully. I have a hard time spotting flaws at the store. Just recovering from cataract surgeries. Gonna blame it on that😅
I felt a huge wad in the pocket of a Blazer I bought. My heart skipped a beat. Pulled it out and there was about 2000 in counterfeit us money lol.

Oh my! My VV had a new with tags Torrid dress, kinda cute but quite wrinkled. 39.99. Mond you i could get 30 percent off but if i go to mission thrift there dresses are 10 at the most before discount.

does CrossListing replace the need for Sidekick? or is sidekick for the follow up tasks after you have already inputted items into your closet using cross listing? Also ~ 1. Does cross listing provide inventory system able to print out as a summary organized by whatever option you might want, the way a spreadsheet would do that for you ? 2. Does CL handle analytics on profit, beyond just the typical gross profit subtracting shipping and fees and COG? But true net profit for your business given all the other costs that might go into either an item or into cost of business as a whole? 3. Finally, if you are only on one platform right now such as Poshmark only, and perhaps at a later date you plan to expand to eBay or other do you still recommend cross listing apps such as Vendoo or ListPerfectly? (which might not be apps I think, I'm guessing they are computer based extension programs, which is already a bonus of cross listing because it is compatible with an iPhone/iPad) 4. I watched another video of yours talking about how to create stock photos using two photo apps... do you feel that using cross listing replaces those needs or do you use those two photo apps first and then import them into cross listing? Sorry to ask so many questions There are so many programs out there it's highly confusing when you are starting and wanting to understand which is the most efficient and streamlined to handle the greatest amount of tasks under one roof Thank you for your excellent videos and all of your amazing help because truly truly they are brilliant !!! 😊😊😊😊
I know this is an old video but I felt the need to comment. I'm 65 and Tabs when I was younger I struggled so much. At one point I was up to 100 lbs overweight. I struggled to unload my dishwasher. I had 2 kids, a fulltime job 40 minutes away one way. For part of this time I worked 12 hour shifts and my husband did too. I was so tired. I've been retired for 6 years now. I'm at my high school weight. Exercise is a huge part of my life. You are right! Selfcare is so important. During the pandemic I put on 20 more lbs and then I got a grip. KZread was my saviour. I was on a mission. Its different when you are younger and have so much on your plate so be kind to yourself and put yourself first. ❤
I use Ebay Terapeak and also filter the search like you do
I have free versions of both apps. If you do not remove the photoroom stamp from your photo, the image will not generate. This is a game-changer, thank you so much for sharing!

I agree it is. Yes she is out there, thank you kindly for the offer. We pass through once a month going to the crows nest pass, so it’s good. And honestly, she’s thriving ❤️

I went to visit my daughter in June who lives 15 hours away (it doesn't get easier having them far away) and reentry has been hard! I've had a personal summer slow down with Poshmark, LOL! I just listed today for the first time in July. I really have taken a close look at how dedicated I am to my business and I'm working to pivot and give it less of my drive and attention. Breathe. PS and on KZread... sigh, it's so time consuming and for me, there's little pay off. I don't know if I can stay at it with no engagement.
Definitely been slow!! I just stopped promoted closet. I was finishing up my real estate licensing so I wasn’t doing much so I kept it on till I was a bit consistent again and it’s just not worth it for one or maybe two (or zero) extra sales. It was hard to decide but it really didn’t help. I am sure it will be crickets for a bit as they probably punish you, but I am in a better place to do the work again and am sure it will recover. Thank goodness I don’t rely on it either! Glad you are feeling better. Grief and change are hard and everyone has their own timelines for adjusting. Big changes this year here too between career and my son getting married and moving. Definitely even though he is 45 minutes away it changes and takes getting used to. Family is so spread out these days. My brothers are in Maine so a 7-8 hour drive. 😢
A lot of youtube resellers love to put on a front too..they want to keep the facad that they are doing really well when they aren't...I like channels that show the reality of a job whether small , big or done as a hobby! I am a reseller on a micro scale (as a hobby I list 1 item a day and only keep a closet stock) and it's slow across the board unless you are a really well known reseller:) people are also traveling a lot so they aren't as close to the phone during this time so sales will go up and down!

I’m not a reseller & I do see most resellers saying sales are slagging on most of the platforms for one or more reasons.

We have been empty nesters for several years now. (Even the dogs are gone now!) We’ve had some new, young families move in to the neighborhood. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t sometimes feel melancholy seeing the children outside playing in their front yard, with their dog running around, etc. I don’t think that feeling will ever totally leave, but I try to think of this: It is 100% RIGHT for our kids to be gone. It means a GOOD thing. It means they are doing well. (Well, in MOST cases I think) And that’s what we want for them. I hope that helps.
Awwww I agree. Our children having the confidence to move out and try… is a huge success in my books ❤️ it is sad, the end of an era in our life times. I am truly excited for what’s next in our lives as our kids move out and we start doing more of our own things.
No idea how you make any profit at all if you are spending over $20 on an item. So far in my experience, which isn’t much, the retail price is irrelevant compared to what the eBay shopper will pay. Maybe you are on Poshmark and that is different. But sales there are minimal anyway.
I pay $20 I sell for $60, that’s a $28 profit. My asp is quite high, and I sell most high value stuff newer styles.

Thanks so much for this post! ❤ I have a love hate errr maybe it’s more of a codependency relationship with PM. I did not know I could be “shadow banded” and sent to “Poshmark Share Jail” until today. When it happened to me. Lonnnng story short, I am full time actively pursuing my passion for resale and so, after loads of research the #1 tip for selling on PM is “SHARE” so finally I decided to put my best effort forward (No bots, no help, just me) and I got an error that I am “over my daily share limit” 😮 when I was sharing and the next error message was “try again later”. The good news is that I got an error so at-least I know what happened (Weird things would happen before to me and I had no idea what was going on ex: yr Canada closet examples) This “shadow ban” happened to me so often when I first started out I really began to hate the place. All of these weird ambiguous hidden rules are so frustrating! If the key to success is sharing and there are over 80 MILLION USERS on Poshmark, Lets assume that I managed to send out a combined share amount of my closet and other folks items of 8,000 to get “shadow banned” that is 0.01% total impressions across the community platform and only 16% total impressions sent to my 50K followers. Seriously? That’s not very big and there is no way I sent out 8K shares. So much for tip to PM success #1 for sales: SHARE Thanks for the tip on the automations apps. ❤ I will just got back to my microscope tiny business try not to get myself banned for trying to make myself and others successful 😂❤.
