@@LuluElMunapasssoqotraword99 around 4 to 5 hours. Some bus services will stop for short coffee breaks. Thanks for watching.
The KSL night market is it open on Thursday or Friday.
@davidyew1978 unfortunately, it's only available on every Monday.
Thanks
Assalamualaikum bang wow luar biasa selera Johor ramai sekali
Makanan yg padu
Sri Tebrau food centre is one on my favourites but I miss the crayfish/slipper lobsters so much. You rarely see them now and when you do, they're very expensive.
Yup, crayfish are rare nowadays. Sri Tebrau is a place mostly the older resident/ local that will go every now and then.
Lotsa of food 🎉,
Nice food as well, haha
Hello, nice to meet you. I hope God's blessing will be with you. Fighting! I support you. The work is hard but rewarding
Gamsahamida,Hangu-sarang. Appreciate the support. Yong-oh cha rang yo. I can speak basic Korean. Love Seoul and would be going back there next year ..probably.
The pricing is based on Singapore customers' dollars. Expensive for locals.
Well, JB is close to Singapore, particularly weekends are so much obvious, lotsa of " Singapore" colony around JB ..haha Pricing wise can't be helped.
@@BreakawayBitesJB pasar Malam is better than those in Singapore in terms of set up . More organic.
Thanks for sharing, quite a long time haven't been to the KSL night market.
Hope you enjoyed it!
I like the carrot cakes 😂, never miss it when I'm there.
Would you visit and explore any night markets when you travel a road?
Can anyone advise of proper toilet there? The one within the food court does not have a proper toilet with full facility😅😅
Ah, OK.. I can't find answer for that 😕, probably the hotel next door ...hmm
Thanks for always sharing your travel videos, informational and very interesting. Best 😊
Thank you and appreciate the support.
Batam doesnt really look so sleepy now
Not really , anymore
Bintan also can lah
hmm, ahhh, probably
Nice sharing
Thank you and appreciate the support.
Well, Batam has more malls ,and not a big surprised, most Singaporeans would hang out. Overall , it's quite an good place for a quick getaway.
People would sometimes like a bit of the old and new every now and then.
Is there any other place in Indonesia that you would like to visit?
Medan
How much is the ferry from jb to batam? Can sporean take the ferry from jb to batam too?
I can give you the rough price which was stated in one the other company, The prices are quite the same. For adults - One way is RM128 - Round trip is RM 181 For kids : RM93, Round trip is RM123 . ( a small tax excluded ) The destination is to the Batam Centre.( The nationalities is never any issue, we have Singaporean & Malaysians in our group. I think i saw one foreigner on our ferry. Ferry from JB is totally different experience, as we are pass through the Strait of Johor and pass by Pulau Ubin , a very different sight indeed which for me, I think it's a highlight on its own.
nice 👍👍👍💯💯💯
Thank you & really appreciate the support. Means a lot.
Batam looks sooo different to what we expected. We laughed out loud when you went to look at the alcohol in the duty free! Haha!
Haha!, Booze is way cheaper in Indonesia, Thailand, The Phillipines... Deal with it... Haha!. Ya, Batam has changed quite a lot since COVID. it's good for change. Tell you what, Come back to JB, and we can make a trip and explore Batam next time round...Eh!!. Cheers mate.. BTW, Bintang Beer is dope!... LOL
From SG to Batam, yes but never tried to enter Batam from JB before. This is new 😂 , you rock boss
It has been a long while, Batam has gone through many changes as well.
Name of the hotel ?
The hotel is called "Asialink hotel by Prasanthi" . There's another hotel which is pretty similar called " Asialink" Easy which is the the budge version so dont get mixed up.
Interesting trip.
It was! Batam has changed quite a lot, thought somethings feel the same but different as well. PRE & PRO-COVID has changed many things.
Is SG->Batam->JB and JB->Batam->SG a feasible way to get around the causeway jam?
Not worth it for day trip because with the total ticket expenses and traveling time, it’s more worth it to go KL by plane instead. Also, ferry from Jb to batam don’t come often. I believe last time there were only 2-3 ferries per day. I’m not sure about now tho. Maybe you can consider taking ferry from Tanah merah to Pengerang (eastern side of JB). Downside would be finding transport to bring you straight to JB central. Another way is via KTM. This is best way by far if you’re looking to beat the causeway jam. But need to book 2 weeks or more in advance.
Yes, if just a one day trip then it's not worth it. I dont recommend it as well, unless you want to visit Batam and make your way into JB then go for it.
What's your favourite Indonesian dish or food?
Karedok or Gulai Nangka! Giulia’s is sambal hijau
Sambal hijau..is it the spicy sour ( lime and tamarind) ? Wow, highly addictive 😍. Despite spicy but u can stop eating it ..hahaha
Watching SPEED by keanu reeves was the last time i remember i was there.
Wow, That was a pretty long time ago, The pirated DVD period with all the PC CD games as well , full of snacks and video arcade...LOL
Watching SPEED by keanu reeves was the last time i remember i was there.
Santosa
Bro, the crowd is on a weekend? Im staying nearby for a few days. Confirm gonna visit here.
No worries, although the crowd can be long but the line move quite fast. The choices of food is good, you will love and enjoyed it. Seddappp
When was this video taken?
Around 7 to 10 days before this video was released at that time so yes, everything is recent, latest updates.
The dried mandarin orange peel at the medical hall is good. Had a bad 100 day cough and non of the western medicine work. This orange peel literally stopped the cough almost immediately.
The medical hall has been there for many years.
Dun O/eat lah You look plumb 😊
Wahhhh dah banyak berubah Holiday Plaza kan masa zaman study 2000an dulu banyak gerai jual VCD/DVD je
Yes, long gone are the VCD / DVD but mobile accessories, nail polished studio, hair saloon and spa massage have taken over.
So much nostalgia at Holiday Plaza. 😅 I think the 1st McD in JBb was in HP
Remember the good old days.
Will go J. 👍
My video tape, vcd paradise of my childhood😍! Good video bro once again! 👍
This place holds many memories although Holiday Plaza has gone through many changes.
Great foodie 🇲🇾👍✌️🙏
Ever been there before? You should go and explore around there.
go there to find some good phone case hahaha
Actually, i prefer to go there where I can look , customized , mix and match the casing i like.
Thanks for the upload, great to see this place.
Slum Mall. 😂😂😂
Wah, a little harsh. I have been to places much than HP. The one at the Waterfront in JB , now that's slum mall, A real eye sore. I would consider Holiday Plaza is a shadow for KSL City mall, just to supplement or specialized for certain group of customers.
Holiday Plaza ( an extension to KSL City mall), yup still hidden gems if you know where to find them.
Hmmm,,, Hidden gems, well , yo'll never know.
Love these type of malls, very old school. The kopitiam place looks like a chill and relax place. Awesome.
Thanks for watching and appreicate the support.
Hi what is the name of the pastry shop?
Oh , can't really remember the exact name but it's really easy to find , it's just opposite the Chamelon Shop ( selling women hair clips and accessories ) . The pastries are pretty good actually. Located in the middle section of Holiday Plaza, ground floor.
Thye Lian.
@@miket2737 thank you.

❤ holiday plaza lah 👍✌️🙏🙏
You should try restoran ah kaw
I am a frequent visitor to Holiday Plaza. One thing for sure..it’s thriving. Almost fully back to normalcy. 0:15
Well , I have to say it's much better now, but always room for improvement. If there are few more eateries ,then that was be awesome. Cheers mate!
Feels good to be back in JB, and exploring old places that bring back so many memories.
Looks poor for the price.
Can go check out Kluang, Johor? Please. Looks like a charming sleepy town.
The Gemas-Johor Bahru electrified double-tracking rail project (Gemas-JB EDTP) is projected to be completed by 2025. Next time Singaporeans can easily take electric train from JB Sentral to Kluang to sip the famous coffee.
Actually, we are planning to make a trip there soon. Haven't been there for a very long time. Will be interesting to see how much Kluang has changed, but i don't think it's sleepy town anymore.
At Kluang, The Kopi Factory cafe, just besides the sales department, offers visitors the convenience of tasting the factory-produced coffee with some light bites.
Sg 👻
Awesome!
