Hello and welcome to my Lego Channel. I am a huge AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego) and have been collecting and building sets for nearly a decade after rediscovering Lego in my late 20's. I collect and build just about anything that looks interesting but mainly collect Harry Potter, Ideas/Icons, Creator Expert and Star Wars, but generally only the Original Trilogy themed sets
As someone who is severally Dyslexic, I find the process of following Lego instructions very helpful as it really helps focus my brain for long periods of time but even as an adult, most sets take me quite a long time as I have to concentrate, otherwise I make frustrating mistakes.
My content will mainly focus on Lego news, previews and reviews. When it comes to reviews, these will be my honest thoughts and opinions as the Lego sets will be brought more often than not with my own hard earned money.

I want that Darth Vader and Jar Jar minifigs. Not sure I’m going to spend $170 to get them though. Falcon does look cool but I don’t really collect Star Wars
Yeah those two are certainly great looking minifigures. It certainly is expensive but not as bad as I feared it would be
I quite like these sets. More so the falcon. Not day ones for me unless there’s a good gwp. Will be getting them at some point though

Haha now that would be amazing but sadly the trailer is a little out of scale but I’m going to try it anyway😂

Great set. It wasn’t high on my priority list, but Lego cut some kind of deal with Costco here in the states where it was available for $75 day one at Costco. Too good of a deal to pass up. I’m currently building this truck with my son.
Also, more on the Costco connection: Both of the workers look like Costco employees just without specific Costco logos. And Costco is known for their $2 hotdog and soda combo in their food courts…which just so happens to match the sandwich board sign advert in this set. Coincidence? I think not! LOL.
Oh nice, that’s an absolute steel at that price, even at RRP it’s good value but $75 is outstanding. I hope you and your son enjoy the set, it’s certainly designed to be played with and is quite solid🙂

Yes, but I have not built it yet. I have several sets in queue to build, and not in a hurry. I will get to it sometime in the future.

I don’t have a Lego store near me so I’ve had to do the double points online and my tuxedo cat is on back order won’t get that until October

Smyths have everything they ever have on sale 25% off most sets within a few months. Best place to get new Lego at discounted prices.
Smyths I find are difficult when it comes to sales, they do them now and again but not to the same extent they did many years ago, I used to get some fantastic savings but not so much lately
I picked up the motorized lighthouse during the 2x points 😁 ,, its never on sale here in the US !
Ahh I was there today! 😁 I didn't get any of the double insider points as I was waiting until the 21st to get the new Jules Verne GWP. It's so cool! I also just ordered my first Monkie Kid set, Lantern City! It looks really fun. Today in store I picked up the red bus :)
Ahh nice, I’m starting to collect Monkie Kid sets too, they look quite fantastic and very unique, just a pain Lego stores don’t tend to carry them. I hope you enjoy the City of Lantern set🙂
I finished building the D&D set and the dragon is amazing. It has eye printing on the tile and I thought people complained that there wasn't any eyes. I love the cat and want to get that one too. Happy building.
Ahh I’m half way through the build, it’s so much fun I’m trying to drag it out as I don’t want it to end😂The dragon looks fantastic from what I have seen, easily could have been it’s own set

I really like the Bowser too but space is an issue and have to make sacrifices. The discount and vouchers were used to the full there 👍. I ordered the Darth Maul ship yesterday actually as part of an order to get the Jules Verne promo.
Yeah I’m very happy with the price. I’ve long regretted not buying it when it got heavily reduced shortly after it came out but my patience has paid off🙂glad you got the Jules Verne promo, very nice gwp
Love that Cat. Can't wait to see it made. I didn't get any Lego for double points. I went to check out a new model shop. My other building hobby next to Lego. I got a new Immortal Justice Gundam kit, along with a UH-1C Huey Helicopter. However, that following Sunday, I stopped a Target and they had the Ambush on Mandalore. I bought two. I love the Republic Commando book series. Imperial Commando is the last book in the series. So I needed four Imperial Commandos, to make my fire team. I also got a Darth Vader Helmet Collection.
Oh cool, I need to get that Vader helmet at some point. I used to collect Warhammer but just don’t have the time anymore, not to mention it’s insanely expensive and Lego is bad enough😂
I passed for the double insider points because I wanted the Jules Verne GWP. Choices in life. So today I’ve bought the Alpine Ski Lodge and the Friends botanical garden. And during checkout I discovered a second GWP was added with the Trophy Award (Because I bought something from Friends I read later). Happy with 2 GWPs in one order 😊 Also congrats with your amazing purchases!

I went on a shopping spree for double insiders points this past weekend too (made a video on it!) You picked up on some good ones!! I wish they had the tuxedo cat, but it was on back order 😢 lol nice pick ups!!

I missed out on the x2 insider points event because I wanted to save some purchases for the Jules Verne GWP set. I just picked up the Hogwart's Castle Great Hall set today! I can't wait to get started on it. Thanks for taking us on your LEGO store adventure!
To be honest I think the Jules Verne promo is well worth waiting for, it’s rather unique. Glad you got the Great Hall I can’t wait to get it now having seen it, just would like a sale on it😂
Congratulations on your purchases. I suppose these three sets will be interesting to build as there aren't many repetitive features. I got the City Express Passenger Train (60337) in June and will probably buy the City Downtown Tram (60423) on pre-order. I haven't decided on a larger budget to buy bigger sets, though.

Love the bowser set. It’s very impressive once built. Great price too. I also grabbed the sith infiltrator on double vip for the same reason.
I’m very pleased with Bowser, I’ve been kicking myself for passing up when it was initially released and Zavvi had it down to £120/£130 but this was as good a price I could hope for🙂
Think I am going to pre order the Imperial Star Destroyer to pick up the gwp - also means not having to part with more money straight away this month, after quite a heavy spend on the double points promotion!
Yeah it’s certainly handy being able to pre-order sets, get promos etc and not have to worry about paying right away🙂

I like the treehouse but may skip it. I prefer the more modern style of building tbh. Modular’s I’m not sure on. I might wait a bit. Tempted to get another mos eisely so I don’t feel bad about opening mine 😂 truthfully I might skip this sale as I want to get the next gwp so will be spending out for that soon
Haha another Mos Eisely to keep sealed is a good idea but I barely have room for the box I already have😂

Such a shame Lego have got this design very very wrong!!🙁 This is a K2 red telephone box and should have 6 rows of 3 windows down, this has only 5 rows down 😢For this reason I can’t buy it!! 😭 I have a real K2 phone box and it just would not be a replica of it, so gutted! 😭

I am a Red Telephone Box facts geek lol! How can I display this in my real telephone box when it’s wrong and doesn’t replicate what it’s sitting in 😢😢 I have emailed Lego to see if there is anyway I can add another row of windows into the design or if they can supply me with extra bits, I don’t know if it would work or not, I am no Lego expert and hope they can give me instructions aswell 😢

High on my wish list! I ended up getting the UCS AT-AT and Razor Crest on May 4th instead but definitely something I want to get. The Razor crest comes in two boxes, about 18 bags each and I would say that building the giant engines (box 2) got a bit repetitive as well but that was a great build overall, a lot of detail in it.
Looks great. Looking forward to building mine. I’ve seen others change the angle of the stand which I like the look of more than how Lego has it

The Piranha plant is easily the best set of the year in this price bracket. £43 at the moment…bargain!
It’s a really nice display set, maybe a little overpriced at full RRP but on sale like it is at the moment, much better🙂
I ordered the Ominous Isle. Was going to order the train for my western collection but there's a much nicer one coming in series 4.
Ahh cool, yeah that train in series 4 looks fantastic, I believe it’s the same designer who made the General Store in series 1 so should pair nicely together🙂

Kinda sad I'll be missing out on double VIP points as another hobby of mine is launching a big wave of stuff I want this month. Still love that GWP though. Hopefully me missing out, means Lego days/Prime Week next month treats me well haha
