I managed to pick up Barad-dûr from the Lego House on Launch Day. I was the first in line, but a Lego employee was the first to check out 😅 They had gotten 16 sets in stock, all were signed by both Antica and Ashwin, the lead (?) designers and they had made unique drawings on each one. Great pickups!

Really glad you got the Barad-Dur and signed too 👍. You’ll have to make sure you keep the box pristine now and encase it in a case of its own 😂

Haha yeah kinda makes me not want to open it lol but I’m not buying another one so will have to😂

I have just finished building the truck last night. Very enjoyable build. Just three stickers in total. Two are for the hot dog stand and the other one is for a 2x2 tile inside the drivers cab acting as the tv. It's about three inches longer than the previous yellow truck and maybe a few centimetres taller. Great to look at them side by side.

Oh I have just started building it, so far very much enjoying the build and only 3 stickers is a very nice thing. Looking forward to seeing the finished build🙂

Im actually a little shocked at just how big the TriWizard arrival set is. The ship is pretty big itself. Also saw how big Aragog was in that display case for the new forbidden forest set haha. Awesome you got a signed Barad dur though! Id be willing to keep that one for investment purposes and then going and getting another haha

Ahh I was blown away by how large the Durmstrang is, I may pick it up later this month, Aragog did look decent too. Haha I would like to keep it sealed but not sure I want to spend another £400 on another😂

How lucky are you to get a signed set. I've built the truck and it's a good looking set. I picked up Barad Dur and the promo. I want the Durmstrang Ship but it will have to wait now as I finally also got the D&D set.

Oh it was a very nice surprise, I was very fortunate as he was only there for a couple of hours🙂Glad you got the D&D set, it’s quite amazing, the dragon is quite something

Congrats on getting that Fell Beast with Barad-dur. It’s a fun little build. Mine was missing the Ring Raith's sword. No biggie. It was a free gift. I contacted Lego about the missing piece. Should arrive in mail in a few weeks. I went back to the Lego store to spend my points from Barad-dur and the Dune Ornithopter. I had $24. I got the Legolas & Gimli Brick Headz with Gandalf & The Balrog Brick Headz.

Ahh that’s sucks the sword was missing, Lego have really good customer service so glad they are fixing that for you🙂Thsts a really nice haul, I have all the LorR Brickheadz from last year but need to get Gimli and Legolas. That Gandalf/Balrog are my favourites, especially the Balrog🙂

Yea, the Gandalf & Balrog were an unexpected surprise. I was initially going for Legolas & Gimli. But when I saw the Balrog, I thought I have to have that to go with my evil tower. 😂

I'm happy Jonathan and his wife enjoyed a lovely day in London, with music, festivities. Yeah, meeting the designer of Barad-dûr at the Lego store. How cool is that?!

Oh it’s very impressive, I have been waiting for a new Durmstrang for years and Lego have really knocked it out of the park🙂Yeah had a very nice day, so nice to get it signed🙂

Love this haul! I got the Inside Out Brickheadz (Inside Out is one of my favorite Pixar movies and I’m excited to see the sequel) and the Disneyland Castle. Disneyland is my home park and I’m so glad they made a Disneyland version of the mini castle series. I have the Disney World one, the Aladdin palace, and the Haunted Mansion

I hate scalpers… anyway I really want to get the jungle sets with the Johnny Thunder minifigure! It’s who I named my channel after! 😁

Very nice! It’s such a nice set. I was deliberating buying it and thought I would have at least the day to think about it before the promo sold out but it went quicker than I expected. I will hold off for a bit now until a good discount or promo stack comes up. Definitely a set I will get. Look forward to the review!

Yeah if you missed the promo it’s definitely worth waiting for double points and decent GWP combo, it’s not cheap. I expect it will stay at Lego like Rivendell but Amazon occasionally have that set on offer so possibly will be the same for Barad-Dur
