What do you think about this Lego set, a hit or miss?

I love what i see in this set. I was instantly wow'd by the Ocarina of Time version. Definitely getting this and finding a place for it with my Castle stuff.

I can’t decide which of the two builds I prefer, the BotW one is so bright and colourful🙂

@@TheDyslexicGeak I definitely agree. It's so beautiful and vivid. I only lean more on the side of the Ocarina build because that was the first Zelda game I ever played and is very nostalgic for me. Both builds are beautiful in a special way

Cool set for sure. These Nintendo IP sets are always pricey…300 USD…ouch.

Yeah I do wonder why it’s so expensive, I get it’s a licensed set with fees etc but blimey. I still think it will sell well and at least it’s up for pre-order now so can take advantage of double points or decent promo that are available during the next few months🙂

It looks ok but misses the wow factor for me and a high price tag to go with it. Can only assume the licensing fee to Lego was high! May pick it up later on if discounted. Maybe Lego know the price point is high and trying to create hype about the set as early as possible

Yeah I think that’s it, the lack of wow factor. The price is really high but I expect it will still sell well. That maybe why it’s been announced so early, to build hype🙂

I hope they do twilight princess sets

Ahh the are so many Zelda sets Lego could do, I would love some dioramas for sure, or a Link to the Past map art set🙂

When I first saw pictures of this yesterday on instagram I was instantly impressed with it. My thoughts were it would be priced at £160 but was totally flabbergasted at £260! I don’t normally comment on Lego prices as it is Lego after all but this does seem excessive. I guess (as you eluded to) the Nintendo license must be expensive.

I do think Lego are really pushing things with the price, it’s getting lots of attention from a design point of view but also the price, I see lots of complaints about that but Lego/Nintendo obviously feel it will sell well regardless

I really like the set, the price not so much 😂 Probably a day one for me or if they do a good gwp and double points between now and then I might pre order. Anything I can do to take the sting out of the price!

Yeah I think the price definitely hurts it but as it’s up for pre-order, next double points/promo combo will be ideal. I’m surprised it’s been revealed this early, rather unusual

@@TheDyslexicGeak agree. I wonder if it’s to get a gauge on interest given the price. I really like the set but that price is just so rough. Wondering if it’s worth waiting now. Sounds like there might be a few sets coming which would be amazing.

@@TheDyslexicGeak Hyrule castle would be legit . A CMF series would be amazing. So much potential with a Zelda line. I just hope they get the pricing right. It could easily be a marquee line up for Lego

dam that's an insane price I think I'll pass on this. I reken £150 is worth it honestly bit disappointed

Yeah can’t deny that, could put people off and wait for a sale, it’s not cheap

Over priced, but being zelda fan i will most likely preorder. I fink i prefer the ocarina of time ❤

Yeah it’s certainly not cheap but I’m the same, a huge Zelda fan so definitely will be buying it🙂

I feel a little disappointed, I don’t know why, but I’ve been a long time Zelda Fan so I’m buying it

Haha yeah that’s sort of how I feel, I think I got my expectations up too high but as I say the more I see it the more I like it, I just hope this isn’t the last Zelda set
