Happy BDay! I hope it was a fun day alongisde the awesome haul! Wouldve never guessed you were in your 40's, keep up the good health haha. Im still on the fence about the new R2D2. I still have my eyes set on the 50th anniversary set before it retires. I was hoping it would be on sale or a VIP points multiplier during the May 4th event but wasnt the case, shockingly. The Darth Malik minifig is the biggest draw for me in the new set. With my luck it just came in the one 25th anniversary set I didnt want haha

Ahh thank you, I certainly done feel like I’m in my 40’s, Lego helps in that regard I think. Yeah it’s a little strange how some sets are not included in double points, normally it’s on any Star Wars sets. I got the little R2 in a sale, don’t think it’s quite worth the full retail price but I also wanted the Darth Malak figure so kind of a must have🙂

Happy birthday John! I stayed up till 4am on May 1st. The website kept crashing. I ended up going to bed and waking back up at 8am and called customer service. They helped me place my orders and got all the promos including the ones on the Lego Website. There is an exclusive 25th anniversary art print and coin on the website. You have to redeem points and get a code to get them. I got them and I’m super excited!! I got everything I wanted. I actually heard the art print has already sold out and is going for $100 on eBay which is crazy but not surprised since it is a limited edition item.

Thank you. Yeah the website was crazy to try and get into. Good to hear Lego were so helpful, I have to say there customer service is outstanding and always very helpful. I’m happy you managed to get what you wanted🙂

Nice haul. I really like the R2 and it’s one I will be getting. I have the big one unbuilt and tbh I don’t know if I will now that the smaller one is available. We’ll see, I do like the big one so maybe put together they will look good.
