What is he playing at the beginning??? Tell me it’s something I can listen to elsewhere. Or is it just Jack being Jack again? 😂 Fantastic playing as always but that boogie in particular was stellar. 🤌🏼

You know, David Gilmore did not play riffs in the ordinary sense. Having said that, there is no doubt that he made a stamp on the world with his unique Stratocaster sound that is imbedded in the minds of billions of people. Gilmore plays the Strat' like a Stratovarius. Jeff Beck also had the ability to make the instrument more than it is. Others, like the ones in this list, have created fairly short but memorable riffs that are all great. Jimmy definitely deserves the second spot. He created many hugely memorable Strat riffs before he was 28 years old. But David Gilmore is the Mozart of the Stratocaster. It's just my opinion.

@@PeachGuitarsthat’s awesome, thank you! I’m in Northern Ireland, which makes me completely reliant on ordering online not having any PRS suppliers over here (can’t see specific guitars before buying), so meant I wasn’t taking a chance on a dodgy grain and gave me a little more confidence in parting with the hard earned money! Great work and appreciate your team going the extra mile

Beautiful Guitar Jewel like . Paul's Guitar on Steroids. Modern Eagle V would be another option . To me PRS have there place. Love Fender and Gibson and I do owe quite a few PRS's. I personally love them as well. I almost went with The Mclaughlin but settled for 594 Private Stock HB to go along with my Modern Eagles including the V which I love. HB II with Piezo so I'm good with the PRS.
