Not breathless, very very sad. Loving each other to eternity in hell. “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6. No other “religion” created love, or is love-- only Jesus. Want your breath truly taken away and know what real joy is? Receive Jesus as your savior. He did die a horrible death on a cross for you and me. But he died on the cross for our sin so that we may live in the presence of God for all eternity. He rose from death and lives today and is coming back soon to receive his own. Read the book of John- and let the one who gave you your breath in the first place take it away. This is my prayer, because all the spiritual “wisdom” and love and what goodness we can muster will fall miserably short of what God’s righteousness requires. Only Jesus. Only Jesus.

Isn’t one of lines in the Beatles song (can’t think of the name of the song) from their white album “the love we give is equal to the love we make “. I wonder if George wrote that.

The conflict is between love and fear, Alan. Worry is a byproduct of fear. Most fears are self-manufactured - that is different from the 'fear' that grips us when we're not paying attention, and a taxicab nearly runs us over. But suffering, my learned friend, is real. You are not going to inculcate me to believe it doesn't exist: we have injustices and violence and hatred in this world, and you are way too intelligent to perpetuate a Pollyannaish theology. The standard of living in America has drastically declined over the years: so much so, that the youth of today have come to resign themselves to not living better than their parents did. A racing mind is a monkey mind. Instead of a mind full of thoughts, we should be mindful of our thoughts - the more we objectively notice and then witness our thoughts, the more we can challenge them from a heart space, and not a fear space.

Messages like this can save a life and a mind if open to it. Sometimes the coin drops deeper, but don't expect it to not spit out again. If you find yourself in a moment experiencing what's described here, you know that you know nothing, and that nothing is everything. It won't happen with thinking or trying to figure it out. It happens in silence. Everything becomes more playful unless serious. More things fall into place or roll out in such a manner as one might find pleasant. That's been my experience. Without it I wouldn't be here anymore. Life saving. 🛟

At 5 years old, I received my first Beatles album in 1966. At that point in time, in retrospect, none of them really stood out from another...meaning they all shared time on the tracks of the album. Lead vocals were traded off, depending on the track. It appears the album I had was version 2 of Introducing The Beatles...but I remember the one I had was with the album cover with their faces with the black background, yet in wiki it shows that album with them posing in suits...I wonder if I had a counterfeit? I dunno...regardless, it had these songs on it: 1. "I Saw Her Standing There" McCartney 2:50 2. "Misery" Lennon with McCartney 1:48 3. "Anna (Go to Him)" (Arthur Alexander) Lennon 3:00 4. "Chains" (Gerry Goffin, Carole King) Harrison 2:25 5. "Boys" (Luther Dixon, Wes Farrell) Starr 2:28 6. "Ask Me Why" Lennon 2:24 Total length: 14:55 Side two No. Title Lead vocals Length 1. "Please Please Me" Lennon with McCartney 2:00 2. "Baby It's You" (Burt Bacharach, Mack David, Barney Williams) Lennon 2:41 3. "Do You Want to Know a Secret" Harrison 1:59 4. "A Taste of Honey" (Ric Marlow, Bobby Scott) McCartney 2:05 5. "There's a Place" Lennon and McCartney 1:53 6. "Twist and Shout" (Phil Medley, Bert Russell) Lennon 2:33 Total length: 13:11 The above found in wiki, not only shows the song writers, but also shows who took lead vocals. I'm turning 63 this year, so that was a while back, for sure. Just making the point that it appears that most, if not, all Beatles albums had a standard that everyone in the band had at least one track that they were the featured vocalist. I think this kept the albums interesting. I put this album together of stuff either I, or friends, or family members wrote, but, depending on the song, I would sing with different approaches, in order to not quite sound the same from song to song. McCartney is very good at it...I mean Why Don't We Do It In the Road is approached completely different vocally vs, say, I Will...still McCartney, but way different vocal approach....anyway, I'm getting all Beatles blah blah blah here. Thanks for posting this about George, and hope you and yours are doing great!

The wisdom and insight that comes from within Alan Watts, is the complete opposite of what religion is trying to do. Religion restricts, constricts oneself. Religion causes one's self to hold back one's true potential. Like keeping a bird in a cage. Listening to Alan Watts is like I'm flying in my dreams. I'm light as a feather, and with just a thought, I can take off to wherever I want to go. Why would not someone not want to fly like an Eagle?

I met George on Maui in 1977. The next day he went to Hana with my boss and hangers-on and he slipped and literally cracked his skull open. I would have been his guide if not for Bob Longhi, who died years ago and the restaurant burned down (Lahaina) last year. George and I said nothing. I was young and stupid and had no words but I did an excellent spit-take with a mouthful of potatoes. That got a big smile from George. I met Ringo in 1990. Many George songs in my repertoire.

Unfortunately George Harrison spread his love around " too much"....the extreme heartbreak of his wife due to his infidelity was devastating, but indeed looking at the other side of the coin this was a big lesson for her to raise her self esteem and to heal and choose someone more worthy of this lovely lady. George was a very soulful musician and brought a level of beauty and brilliance to the music industry!
