What application is shown on the smartphone in the video?
Sean, for the flash question, I assume the user having the blurring effect in low light (slow shutter speed, was in ‘M’ mode with Constant Preview on. If he was using a compatible flash on the hot shoe, constant preview will turn off and there will be no blur effect. If incompatible or using strobe through a remote, CP will need to be manually turned off.
You could of went to walmart tv section to see that
You don't understand what it's like to be there. Most pictures I've taken have a story behind it.
Awesome stream! Thanks
Why doesn't GH5M2 have this?
The question isn't how you've done stabilization so well. The question is how everyone else can't seem to.
Love this S9. Created a LUT that looks like 126 Kodacolor-X. Looks just like film.
I was peeking at the S9 manual but I don't see Live View Composite which is now a must have. Was there a hardware limitation or can it come like for S5II / G9II ?
Why it sideways tho
Look forward to getting ours. Also look forward to a response to at least 3 tickets asking to confirm the order and estimated delivery date. Communication has been a frustrating process (note: 20+ year Nikon customer experimenting with a possible move)
Sounds like something to take up with the dealer you ordered from not corporate
@@POVwithRC ordered from Panasonic direct. And shortly after posting this, they responded to all of the tickets.
Just used Streetwise-N the other day, pretty good.. I think Streetwise-C might be even better ! Nice video. Loving my S9 !!!
Great to hear!
Appreciate the info!
That LUT looks very nice. I‘ll try it asap on my S5ii 👍
Interesting pics! But I sincerely hope 10bit 4:2:2 HEIFs or better can be an option. Real Time LUT and v-log mean to be together, even for photography, and 8bit is not enough for v-log.
The autofocus of S5II is terrible experience for me. Do you know why? Because it is consistently producing out-of-focus results when it says it is in focus. What are the "in focus" indicators? Let's look at the table in user manual's "Using AF" section, page 150 (page number may be different in languages other than en-uk): - Focus Icon (A): Lights -> A green light on the bottom left of the screen - AF area (B): Green - AF beep: Two beeps So what are the results? Even if all these indicators were positive to tell me that the eye focus was acquired and locked, 0 out of 10 images were focused on the eye and even the face was blurry. I don't event talk about a moving person... I hope that store I purchased this camera will accept my return request !!!
no Photoshop, no LR just LUT
Why not just a cpl?
7/11 was a part time job
Handsome boy Banjo🧡
Perfectly fine. Proving the ninnies wrong about the little pancake.
A bit of black construction paper shaped like a cone does the same thing. Or a paper bowl painted black.
Or I was thinking the suction part of a toilet plunger 🪠
What about the exposure shift when zooming out?
The third one was actually money !
He tell us to set the same aperture but he didn't set full manual setting that's means the exposure change when he's zoom out that lens
How did you avoid the rolling shutter for that subway photo?
What's funny is, I was out shooting w/ mine the other day...and a city bus goes by, and it didn't lean or wobble one bit. The rolling shutter drama about this camera is overrated.
why does it lose focus on the motorbike if your on manual ?
Because the lens is not parafocal, a parafocal lens doesnt lose focus even when you zoom in/out, regular lenses lose focus
@@Marudowl that's what I thought, so yes it's on autofocus obviously
@@MarudowlI googled it, some web say its parfocal, maybe not 100% parfocal
Well 🙃 as a event photographer/videographer, in low light situation I'm kinda f****d to have to check each time for a shoot preview for my exposure... Also, I could see that my unit has the same problem as yours in low light, I could see a low shutter effect in the frame and it gives me nausea looking at the lcd/evf. Would be nice if there is another workaround or firmware that could fix that issue. The S5iix would be a more complete tool for photographers.
The exposure changes look terrible and very amateurish. You need to turn the camera to manual to prevent the exposure adjustments after zooming. I would suggest taking down this video and fixing it.
I would suggest taking down this comment and fixing it.
This is actually a really good video, thanks!
Marmalade Energy
The color management section only improved the colors by like five percent I had to put the conversion lut on the clip I used and it looked better then
Second 🤗🤗
FIRST!!!❤😂🎉
Those were beautiful
I have a Lumix S5II and i use many vintage Lens.
Lumix TEAM!!!!! A moment of your time! I am canvasing film youtubers for the 2024 presidential election. If you're undecided, please watch my film photography political satire youtube short "Digital Trump vs Film Biden"
Woo, can't wait !!! My S9 will be here on July 2nd !
M42 lenses with speed booster. To correct focal. You can get the focal reducer at BH for 120
I own a S5ii. The autofocus is unreliable. The camera refuses to autofocus about 20% of the time. The M43 body’s contrast DFD autofocus is more reliable than the S5ii PDAF. What autofocus do you recommend? Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
I really like to use adapted lenses on my gh4, 5 and s5 :) i dont want to achive any film look... just what this particular lens give to me. :) I dont follow the cult of film :)
Kodak Ektachrome or fujicolor film for example. which vintage lens did they used ? 7artisans cinema lens give the yellowish color approaching style
Its missing the vintage color which is probably the most important aspect of making something look vintage. Only film can truly recreate old school textures and colors
Is a lut?
Yeah this looks to be more of a lut. A vintage lense wouldn’t give the vintage color here
This is the kind of photo im looking forward to!
Cant wait for S7 where there will be small evf and bit of front grip with same style as S9
S1H support would be great!
Where can I buy it?
Can you answer that lumix s5iix will get pdaf in fhd, same as on the s9?
Thanks for answering my question about the battery grip Sean! Like @superzero4250 mentioned below, the main function most of us miss is not the power capabilities of the grip, it's the grip itself. Like when taking video or stills handheld in portrait mode, not being forced to raise your arm above your head in an awkward position is big. Not to mention access to the other buttons. The ergonomics alone are worth it and also adds accessibility to folks with certain disabilities. Just a thought. Again thank you for taking your time to answer all our questions and all that you and the Lumix team do. Take care.
It will be a great disappointment if the XLR2 is not retrofitted for the S5iix.
