    You’re really not optimizing your filtration capacity, your system is not very efficient. The phosphate filter basically also serves as your first polypro sediment filter. I would adjust the order and improve your filtration capacity according to the follow order: PHO > GAC > ACB An easy way to also get more sediment capacity is to install a 50um “spin down” pre-filter on your system inlet.

    3rd or 4th quietest but Honestly I think the insulation is pretty redundant I like the old blender motor type from the 70s and 80s and wanna figure out if we have good enough foams and rubbers now to make those higher speed motors quiet (back than they only had styrofoam and thin open cell polyethylene sponge foam)

    I have a corner tub and previous owners put in a wall hand held shower unit, I am renovating and do not want to have this on the wall. can I cap the pipes as above, and then close up wall. Or do I have to remove everything in wall?

  • @DoingitDave

    These are really good to temporary work. If you are looking to keep that change permanent then you either want to cap and solder or remove completely. I wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving these in the wall.

    Good to know, thanks! Has anyone had any experience with other car service/tire places with Tesla tire rotation service? Was curious to know if any car/tire place is able to rotate tires on Tesla vehicles or if they charge more for it seeing as how Tesla is more "special"?

    Tesmanian is a joke! I just bought a full set of mats for my Model Y then asked for a return before I even installed them. Days went by and no response from the company. I even looked on their website and no phone number is listed. Once I get a response they said they are just a wonderful company with 1000s of satisfied customers. Again I email them asking for a return label as I wanted a refund. More days roll by and finally they respond telling me to send them back at my expense. No instructions, no label, nada. What a clown operation. I get better service from my local ice cream shop.

    Thanks for this thorough walk-through. Even though I was done with my install when I watched it, it was far better than the video on the Teslamize product page! The extra black piece you had leftover at the end is some sort of spacer that rests on some fasteners right under the veneer on the dash. The second Teslamize install video briefly(!) shows the spacer being put in place before the trim piece is slid in over the top of it. I backed up a few steps, installed it (took a lot of time to get everything lined up without the spacer falling into the dash!), and I can't tell any difference. In the end, it looks good, but like a few commenters mentioned below, it's wobbly. My brother has two and neither are wobbly. After spending over an hour on this install which I thought would take 15 minutes, I just wanted it to be over, but one day, I might reverse a few steps and really torque those bolts to see if that helps. And I did the same as you with that last piece; test-fitting it didn't seem like it was going to be of much value, so I threw it back in the box.

    Going through your videos to see some of your experiences since I just got a Model 3. We considered a Model Y so we could replace our ICE vehicles completely and take it on trips, but we would need the third row. I've heard the third row doesn't have much room at all. Did you opt for that, or did you stick with the standard configuration?

  • @DoingitDave
    @DoingitDave2 жыл бұрын

    I stuck with the standard setup. I have seen the third row and it is tight. Kids and small adults. I have seen others put kids seats back there. The climbing in the backseat to get to the third row seems tight too.

  • @TreyMcClain1
    @TreyMcClain12 жыл бұрын

    @@DoingitDave Exactly what I was thinking. I'm loving the 3 right now and know I would have loved the Y too. We went with the Standard Range Plus, as that was a very economical way to get into the electric vehicle game. If things continue going well with that, which I fully expect, we may end up with a Y at some point. For now, I guess we're going to hang onto one of the gas vehicles for trips and loading up a lot of folks when needed. Other than that, the 3 will be the daily vehicle that we probably share, especially since we don't have to go to the office every day anymore. No since in paying for gas if I don't have to.

  • @DoingitDave
    @DoingitDave2 жыл бұрын

    @@TreyMcClain1 smart. You have to do what is best for your family. Rivian is pushing out the truck soon and Cadillac is push their SUV soon too. Both will have high price tags. The model Y is perfect for us. Size, fun to drive and economical. We have two now. I do recommend the adjusting screen for long trips. Which we have done multiple 6+ hours one way trips in and would never drive gas again.

  • @TreyMcClain1
    @TreyMcClain12 жыл бұрын

    @@DoingitDave That’s great to hear about the long drives being easy. I plan to order the swivel screen mount now after watching your video. That seems like a must have accessory. Thanks for all the info!

  • @TreyMcClain1
    @TreyMcClain12 жыл бұрын

    @@DoingitDave Well, what a difference a couple weeks make. I have now installed the swivel screen mount in the Model 3. It's great and should definitely come standard. Also, I've gone all in on Rivian since you mentioned it. I have a pre-order for the SUV, the R1S. Very high price tag, but I love what they're doing. Now, to see if they can actually start producing and delivering vehicles. Realistically, I probably won't see one until 2023 or 2024.

    For best cooking outcomes, vacuum after each meal. Never let your pellet grill go past five grilled meals to keep cleaning manageable. Never use water to clean out or rinse your grill. Keep oven cleaner off of painted surfaces. If you have to scrape cooked food off of stainless steel parts, make sure you use a stainless steel scrubber.
