On May 1st, 2021, it came to my attention that owners of the Model 3 and Model Y would be able to retrofit the Pedestrian Warning speaker and Boombox to their older models. I am not sure this is real or not but I went ahead and tried it anyway. This will make Tesla safer and up to date with the rest of the EVs on the market.
