Wow! This episode brought back a relationship i had with an ex. It's definitely narcissistic with BDP. Always saying " feelings aren't facts", she drained me physically, emotionally and 😮. All the mind ganes, seeking attentiin .calling me controling because she had no moral compass. No accountability. I learned everything in the first year about a narcissist. It took me a year to get out. It took me 2 years to recover. Thankful for the lessons for sure. I had to block her,her kids, and her mom. Move and change jobs. I am so grateful to be free.

I have a podcast coming up soon that I want y'all to check out. Men tease femininty/ weakness out of men because they feel like all they really have to offer is masculinity. They think that's all women care about. Can u blame them?

Here's a topic I would like to hear about. I am from the older generation and still I run to folks who 1. Can't handle being in the company of a lesbian. They either think that my actions come with a agenda or I am seen in a over sexualized way. I will step out for my women friends with kindness they misunderstand my motives because people be whispering you know she trying to get next to you. Honestly that's not me. I'm not a player. I can be in a room full of gorgeous women and unless that have that special inner quality I don't even go there. I think they are attractive but there's no chase.

I'm a femme lesbian. I remember being in middle school and all the girls were boy crazy. If i got a "crush" on a boy, it would be because they were nice, funny, etc. It never had anything to do with looks. Then I went to girl scout camp the summer before freshman year. I saw this tomboy at the camp. This sensation happened in my body that I had never felt before. I was instantly infatuated. 25 years later, I've never had that sensation for any man. Compulsory hererosexuality is so programmed in people that they can't grasp that homosexuality is just as normal and requires no explanation.

Men get extremely possessive, they get comfortable & start treating women like objects & not people. I think for him specifically, he could probably use more self reflection.

On Nelcias comment about gay men forcing their way in I say this, and this is my personal belief. The space was made because there are power WHITE MEN who made the space for gay men. Women as a whole are always put on the back burner. They made the space for gay men. Also, women tend to accept the “gay male” ideology because they for years have been the “gay best friend” and have been slowly having that space created for them. Gay WOMEN, especially gay black women, are seen as a threat to the black family and the black male ego. They don’t give a F about the gay male because they just see them ass a non factor.

So much to unpack. As someone who used to identify as a member of the LGBT community who is also a therapist and is now a Christian, there is so much to unpack in this conversation. 1- Thank you for your levels of transparency and honesty. 2- While I do believe that gender has an energy, Please know that masculinity and femininity is NOT based on how emotionally hard/ controlling or soft/vulnerable that one is. If it was, then we could put on gender like a costume or we could devalue/value ppls gender based on performance; And that’s NOT the case. 3- while I don’t thinks that being a woman or being feminine is completely defined by our behavior, I do believe that we were created with purpose. Part of that purpose is to be what our creator intended for us to be. every human false short and that falling short separates us from the Creator. Yet, Christ provides a way to creator and purpose. I am not saying “Come to Jesus and you will be straight”, nor am I saying “Just continue to do you and God will be ok with it”… I am saying I know a man who is God in the flesh, and can tell you all about yourself and align you with your eternal purpose. For more information I HIGHLY recommend A) PRAY and reading God’s word (start with the book of John, then Romans, Galatians, 1&2 Corinthians and then the rest of the New Testament)… B) read Jackie hill-Perry (gay girl good god) and watch videos on sexuality (Preston Sprinkle, Jackie hill perry, Jude 3 and more . C) Seek Godly community (not the weird everything is a spirit or the rules/ gender performance based community… but one of true love for Christ and His creation. May The MOST HIGH God of all creation protect your mind, body and even family from the plots, plans, schemes, and devices of the enemy. May He draw you with His unfailing and unrelenting Love, Holiness and Mercy. And may your hearts be open to Him and Him only. In Jesus name Amen. Good show and god bless.

Society coddles men in general. I’m Gen X and I think if you’d ask any person in my generation who is coddled more Black men or Black women, I think the overwhelming response would be Black men. When the young man on the panel said, who do you think of when someone says “doctor,” I chuckled. An image of a Black woman would come to my mind wayyyy before an image of a Black man. It’s interesting how Black men seem to be in favor of gender norms that favor men, but would have a fit if the conversation was shifted to race. Lastly, of the three people on the panel if someone were to ask who is the smartest, I don’t think many would select the young man after listening to this conversation. I’m in no way trying to bash the young man on the panel, but I do notice that men who cling tightly to “traditional” gender roles happen to be the most insecure.

I like how Danielle explained the whole pronouns thing. I really feel like thats a battle that I could never understand fr fr. But like yall said the grace should be extended to people who aren’t trans/nonbinary. A lot of us have went 30,40,50 years without having to use this kind of language so it definitely a major adjustment.
