The reason the oil stays in that portion of the hub is because the seal for the ctis prevents it from going into your ctis system. The front half is oil and the rear half is greased
Do you think the center stand would work on svartpilen? Its good to have if you get a flat, and also to work on the svart.
No. Won't work
Would this relay work on a 2023 model?
No matter the year.
How do the breaks feel? Are they too aggressive?
Nothing is broken. Why do you think I broke something??
Did the heat shield greatly helped?
Does nothing.
Where can I find a gps mount?
Check out the playlist I created for this bike. There is an episode where I cover it in depth.
@@SeanFillner I watch all your videos but I'm from Thailand so I can't listen. Can you type in your language in the gps holder section here for me? I have a translation app. Thank you very much.
How much oil did you put over on the filter?
The foam? I sprayed it just like you can see in this video.
I don't see you sprayed it at the front of the video.
When you said you don't trust the Nice CNC stuff, it reaffirms my "buy once cry once" approach. I'm not going to hang cheap Chinese aftermarket parts on my exquisite European motorcycle. I understand that a lot of motorcycle components are made in China, but those are licensed and overseen by factory personnel.
Hi. Great install info. Can you tell me where you purchased the euro led signal lights. I have a 2023 390 adventure.
Links are ALWAYS in the video description and/or part numbers are in the video. Thanks for tuning in!
@SeanFillner Sorry, but I don't see them.
@markjames3708 part numbers were covered in the video. If you skipped around you will have missed the part number.
@markjames3708 check the svartpilen build series playlist. I used the same ones
I just push on the damn thing until it goes on.
Was there a reason you drilled into the body of the trailer and not into the tailgate for your plate?
3/16" steel vs 1/8" aluminum. Go figure.
I see you got quite the husqvarna/ktm collection. In regards to the Husq 401/RC 390, those little 373cc engines are a lot of fun indeed. How have yours been for reliability?
All 5 bikes 0 issues.
@@SeanFillner I'm curious about getting an RC 390 myself, I got some questions. Do you do all the service yourself? Did you obey the break in periods to a T? What kind of mileage do they have and do you always use the recommended fluids?
@@User_Brandon check out the build series playlists I have created for each motorcycle to see the answers to all of your questions. Thanks for tuning in!
My grips did not come with the controler
IIRC it might be a separate part number??
Eazi grip 👎
100000% agree!
Is the green image on the left side of the startup screen a problem? I have it too
Normal.
@@SeanFillner Thank u.
Can u help me wire up my eco
The hoses are know to be loose
Oddly it wasn't loose. It was installed diagonally so it had very little pressure to seal the hose. The breeze clamps fixed all of the problems.
Looks like a nice easy fix, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
I put a 14 tooth on my Duke 390 and it is a better motorcycle. The pick up now is what a duke should be but don't do it until the warranty is up because it will probably void it.
I have 5 373cc ktm powered modified bikes. None of them has ever had the warranty voided.
😊
No one ever shows the XT on a ride to show the speed and HP! Makes me wonder if the numbers are true?
They are underrated from the factory. Take one for a test drive. They rip!!
The important part for me is where and how the HCU is mounted and connected.
It's covered in the FREE downloaded instructions. It's plug and play.
Have you ever tried planish grinding with a mill and rotary table on the tiny disc's?
No. I won't put that kind of effort into this cheap bike.
😊 glad your back
Glad YOU'RE here :)
😊
they work i laid it down on a corner on the Blue Ridge parkway. crash bars took all the grunt and no damage anywhere..
Does it change the sound a lot? The whooshing noise gets old on the wrx. I changed from Cobb to a drop in filter but this looks nice
I did not notice a huge sound change.
Hi 👋 do you know exactly what material is the surface it looks like neoprene
It's surfboard grip tape.
@@SeanFillner thanks
I used a dewalt grinder and safety glasses to grinder the edges off the plastic side took me like 1 minute
Just buy the correct sized ones. They make 3 sizes.
The Li-ion batteries are the only batteries I will use on a bike, especially with the built in Jump Start feature which is great for anyone that is off road in more remote areas as it avoids having to carry a portable Li-on jump starter, saving both space and weight. There are lots of very affordable options now as well that really make it a no brainer.
Have you ever submerged one in water? This is one of the fears I won't be without. You know what happens when lithium gets wet right??
Bot's bot's bot's probably.. anyone who asking a stupid question, respond with apt answers.
I wish I had the time. You might be right.
Go for a ride on that thing once in a while. It is not some rare luxury bike to be a garage poser. Take it out, ride it hard, enjoy it.
It goes out every time we go camping. Have you seen my "Adventures with Abel" series? You crack me up.
Could you show me how to oil my chain??? 😂😂
You would not believe...
How did you bend the mirror stalks? Was a pipe bender sufficient? Or did you brute force the pigs on a bench vice?
A vice and your hands are all you need.
@@SeanFillner Thanks!
How long did it take to get the fuelx lite ship to you
I ordered 4 at once. Took 5 days IIRC.
Great! I need this bags for my Honda X-ADV 750! hugs from Barcelona, Spain! :)
These are my favorite panniers...
I've always deglazed using green scotch brite pads and a little brake cleaner and scrubbed the rotor. No reason sand paper wouldn't also work but probably a little more aggressive than is necessary.
Yes, scotch brite will work. This is what I had on hand. Thanks for tuning in.
I'm building a similar system from parts. The condenser I have has an accumulator on it and I plan to mount it on the rear of the cab. I noticed the factory location for the accumulator is down on the frame rail. Do you have any concerns about tilting the cab with the AC running causing the accumulator to tilt horizontal?
I've been running my finalized custom a/c system for 5+ years like this and it still works great. Why would you ever tilt your cab with the a/c running anyways?
@@SeanFillner thanks for confirming. I'll leave the accumulator on the condenser then.
You have to pull the nipple through the tab and turn it all the way up with the small crank, then an arrow appears immediately and you press on it and the door for the brake pads opens. I'm only joking. 😁
Mike Krüger 😀
if the tube is mounted outside, it should pehaps be clogged up to avoid getting debris inside it.
Great Video
Question, I have found a 570A alternator, it is labeled as "MRAP Alternator 28 Volts, 570 Amps, Fits: Category II A2 Cougar MRAPs". Do you know if this alternator is the same size as the others and would it fit? I have a 1997 1078 with a CAT 3116 turbo and the 100A alternator.
Wont fit unless you reroute the intake and possible the exhaust manifold. Why would you need that many amps? Are you trying to power a small city??
Oh and what tool box did you get on the left side? (behind air tanks)
Links are always in the description of the installation video.
first off, good job and cool video. Doing the same mod different horn for my LMTV. I'm definitely going to have to look harder at how to install like you have, worst case ill do the same superchief same way you did. But to save some time, do you know what that T fitting size is, or have a small list of connectors? Specifically looking to do the T or even order one like you said for less connectors, may save a few trips to the store. Thanks!
Was it worth it, for the turbo and governor update?
Every penny.

Storage Wars !
You are a night Owel sir. Thaks for the video
Thank you for this video. One of the items listed, when I purchased our truck from the county, was "water pump has a leak". e have not yet repaired it due to having issues with raising the cab, the hydraulic pump is waiting on parts for it's rebuild.
Hopefully your block is not cracked from unbalanced tires and driveshafts.
Out of all your videos, this is by far the best one. You should have gone all "Yosemite Sam". Thank you.
Keep watching.... :D
